Award Show Calendar For 2018: Full Schedule, List of Dates, Channels and Air Times

The holiday season may be nearly over, but the 2018 awards season has only just begun. As entertainment writers know, the next three months—ending with the 90th Academy Awards in March—will be a non-stop award show frenzy. Predictions will be made, illegal downloads will be shared and "film Twitter" will be downright insufferable.

For your reference, here's a schedule for all the upcoming award shows, from the Golden Globes to the Oscars.

Golden Globes

Nominations: The 2018 Golden Globe nominations were announced on December 15, with Guillermo del Toro's The Shape of Water, HBO's Big Little Lies and Steven Spielberg's The Post leading in nominations. Read the complete list here.

Show: The 75th Annual Golden Globes, hosted by Seth Meyers, will air on January 7 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

Critics' Choice Awards

Nominations: The TV and film nominations for the 2018 Critics' Choice Awards were announced on December 6, with The Shape of Water in the lead again. View the full list here.

Show: The 23rd annual Critics' Choice Awards will air live on the CW January 11, at 8 p.m. ET.

PGA (Producers Guild of America) Awards

Nominations: The PGA award nominations will be announced January 5.

Show: The winners of the 29th Annual Producers Guild Awards will be announced at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on January 20, but will not be broadcast live. 

SAG (Screen Actors Guild) Awards

Nominations: The SAG Award nominations were announced December 13. Greta Gerwig's Lady Bird, Martin McDonagh's Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and Netflix's GLOW came out on top with the most nominations.

Show: The SAG Awards will air live on January 21 on TNT and TBS. For the first time ever, the ceremony will have a host: The Good Place star Kristen Bell.

The Grammys

Nominations: Nominations for the Grammys were announced on November 28, with rapper Jay-Z in the lead with eight nominations for his album 4:44.

Show: The 60th Annual Grammy Awards will air live on January 28 on CBS at 7:30 p.m. ET, hosted by late-night comedian James Corden.

BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Academy) Awards

Nominations: The BAFTA nominations will be announced on January 9. You can watch the nominations via live stream on the BAFTA YouTube channel.

Show:  The BAFTA Awards will air live February 18 on the BBC and BBC America. The exact airtime and host have not yet been announced. 

Independent Spirit Awards

Nominations: The Independent Spirit Award nominees were announced on November 21. Luca Guadagnino’s Call Me By Your Name led with six nominations and Jordan Peele's Get Out followed with five.

Show: Nick Kroll and John Mulaney will return to host the Independent Spirit Awards for a second year on March 3, broadcast live on IFC at 5 p.m. ET.

The Oscars

Nominations: The 2018 Oscar nominations will be announced on January 23.

Show: The 90th annual Academy Awards will broadcast live from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on March 4 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Late-night comedian Jimmy Kimmel will host for the second year in a row.
