WrestleMania 34: 9 Best Entrances From WWE’s Big Night

WrestleMania isn’t just about the in-ring action, it’s about the spectacle that only the Showcase of the Immortals can present, the WWE Superstars’ entrances are a major part of that.

The WWE pulls out all the stops to show off their Superstars in memorable and innovative ways to get the crowd pumped up for an upcoming match. WrestleMania 34 was no exception, with plenty of memorable entrances. There were more than 20 different entrances at WrestleMania this year and we picked out the nine best.

UNDERTAKER

Undertaker hasn’t been seen on WWE since RAW 25 in January, and it’s been since WrestleMania 33 last year that he’s been in a ring. But weeks of John Cena’s challenges and boasting brought the Dead Man back to the place where his streak ended.

The entrance isn’t anything out of the ordinary for the Undertaker, but there’s no way any WWE fan won’t get goosebumps from hearing that gong and seeing “The Phenom” make his way to the ring.

MUSTAFA ALI

On the WrestleMania 34 kickoff show, Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali fought for the Cruiserweight title. And while the match itself was good, Ali’s entrance, especially his ring gear, was top notch.

Coming out in a mask full of lights (Sub-Zero style) with a blue light in the palm of his hand, Mustafa Ali definitely looked the coolest making his way to the ring in New Orleans.

ALEXA BLISS

The RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss descended from the set to participate in her first one-on-one WrestleMania match. Decked out in sequins, the “Goddess” of WWE, with Mickie James in tow, stood out from a lot of the other competitors.

NEW DAY

The New Day have a history of great WrestleMania entrances and this year is no different. The trio came out in their unique gear when Xavier Woods played the tune the Green Power Ranger used to summon his Dragon Zord.

From there, a group of little people dressed as pancakes came out, with the New Day chucking flapjacks into the crowd.

DANIEL BRYAN

Daniel Bryan’s entrance at WrestleMania 34, like the Undertaker, was nothing too flashy. The entrance began with a shot from outside the Superdome in New Orleans then a video package of people around the world doing the “Yes!” chant plays before Bryan makes his way down the ramp.

Of course, it’s great to see Bryan competing in WWE again after injuries forced him to retire. But how surreal was it to see the crowd of over 70,000 doing the “Yes!” chants with him?

THE BAR/BRAUN STROWMAN

Towards the end of the night, RAW Tag Team champions The Bar came out on a parade float. With them on the float were parade goers dressed for Mardi Gras in giant plastic heads. However, Braun Strowman’s entrance immediately after deserves a place on this list. When he came out and did his patented roar, the parade goers ran away in fear, which made for a hilarious moment.

SETH ROLLINS

The Intercontinental match between Seth Rollins, Miz and Finn Balor started the main show with their title bout. The  eventual winner, Rollins, outshine the other two competitors with his entrance as well as in the ring. Clearly taking inspiration from Game of Thrones, Rollins dressed in gray and wore blue contacts, which gave him the look of a White Walker.

CHARLOTTE FLAIR

The SmackDown Women’s champion is no stranger to over-the-top entrances at WrestleMania and in New Orleans she was simply golden. Coming out in a gold robe and striding to the ring surrounded by men in gold Roman soldier outfits made Charlotte look like a million bucks.

SHINSUKE NAKAMURA

By far the best entrance of WrestleMania 34 was Shinsuke Nakamura’s. It’s not a big surprise, as Nakamura’s theme song and past entrances during big shows have been a talking point for days, but in New Orleans the WWE really upped their efforts.

The entrance started with Nita Strauss, the guitarist of Alice Cooper’s band, doing a short set before performing the beginning of Nakamura’s theme song. The lights go up and about 20 violin players file in playing alongside Strauss as Nakamura comes out dancing.
