Our original title for "Charlie's Angels" was "Alley Cats," but no one liked it. Kate Jackson came into my office 20 minutes before a big meeting, and she said, "Why don't you call it 'Charlie's Angels?' " I said, "Where'd you come up with this?" And she said, "That picture right behind you on the wall." There was a picture, believe it or not, of three female angels. It wasn't my picture. I inherited Frank Sinatra's bungalow at Fox, and he had it on the wall. That's how the name came about.
