Hotel LKF: Hong Kong's Hip Place to Stay and Eat

D é cor: The sleek lobby is filled with curvaceous leather and fabric furniture resting on a highly buffed marble floor.

Accommodations: Earth-toned leather and suede furnishings deepen the plush ambience of the 95 rooms (from $450 a night). En suite photos of skyscapes and city scenes have been specially commissioned from local artists. The bathrooms are spacious and tasteful; in some, guests can enjoy the city's panoramic skyline while luxuriating in the tub.

Dining … plus: Azure, the restaurant and bar occupying the top two floors (29th and 30th), has become one of the city's premier supper clubs, popular not just with hotel guests but also with local hipsters and fashionistas. Chef Peter Baker offers an eclectic international menu, but the food is less the point than the buzz.

Specials: The Summer Temptation package includes a branded scarf, a hand-towel set, a 10 percent discountfor in-room massage, breakfast for two at Azure, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres and a limousine to the airport ($480 through Sept. 21).
