The election of Hamas and then the violent takeover of Gaza only proves that the muslims don't want peace with Israel they only want to kill the Jews. The Israelis know this and once the rest of the world sees it then we can begin to solve some of the problems in that part of the world. Giving all the military aid Israel asks of the U.S. is absolutely necessary for their security then we can assist the moderate Palestinians in building a stable nation but the fight against the Islamo-facists must continue until we have wiped them out or they do it to themselves. Iran pulls the strings of Hamas and Hezbollah and supplies the shiites in Iraq with weapons and explosives so it is inevitable that someday thats where the fight will be.

Some facts that a lot of people do not want anyone to know. Look it up if you do not believe me.

Palestine as well as Israel were originally part of the Roman Empire.
Then the Byzantine Empire.
Then the Ottoman (Turkish) Empire.
Then for allying themselves with the Germans( who surprisingly wanted to wipe out everyone else but their type of people...wait that sounds familiar...) during WW1, the British took over and changed the countries, areas, and borders many times. And because they were mad at Europe they took it out on the Jewish people ( I know it makes no sense).
--So if people are really insistent about returning it to the "Original People" it would go back to Turkey as their are no more Roman or Byzantine countries.

The Jewish people fought and suffered alongside the Muslims against the Christian (which was really just a land grab attempt by European kings, they just used the Birthplace of Christ thing as an excuse)Crusades. ...Hmm leaders using their peoples religion to their advantage....so familiar...

COMMON SENSE: If someone puts a rocket launcher in your house, you should leave, you are not safe, the people that the rocket gets launched at are not going to be happy. If your neighbor is constantly antagonizing someone with tanks, bombs, etc. you are not safe. You can, leave, report them to the authorities, or stay and suffer the consequences.

By the way, International law holds the people who put those "civilians" in the position to be killed responsible, not the responding party. That is why Israel has never been sanctioned by the U.N.

I saw on T.V. a palestinian shot at an Israeli tank with an M-16 then duck behind the corner of a building after that the tank fired at the corner of the building destroying it and also the gunman. It was the funniest thing I saw on T.V. that day what a moron. It's too bad these nuts don't hand out brains along with the rifles, but if they did they would not have enough idiots to stand up to tanks.

I am sure i have said something similar myself in the past but it must drive the Palestinians crazy to here people from the US say that Palestinians and Israelis should just be friends.

Well Egypt contributed(1.3 million u.s.$), so did Turkey(250,000 u.s.$), and the U.A.E. (almost 700,000 u.s.$)........Hey OPEC coughed up 100k u.s.$ for the better treatment of women (well we all know that they are down on their luck right now). Where are all the rest of our Muslim countries support???? Well look at that! DENMARK gave more aid then all the "Arab Muslim" countries combined (2.3 million u.s.$)
My math could be wrong but it looks like the U.S. and the E.U. make up 99% of the material and finacial support for Palestine . (something close to 2 billion u.s. $ just this year alone, where did it all go) Hmm ok well maybe the evil oppressive Zionists stoped some of it from getting there, but then what happened to the additional almost 700 million u.s.$ dollars that was directly deposited into Palestinian gonvernment accounts???

By the way if it makes you feel any better, the "Arab Muslim" countries sometimes do contribute. Usually about .o5% of what they annually pledge. Syria says it doesnt have to because it takes care of Palestinian refugees. Which is a fair argument.

Naver: when Palestinians talk of stealing land they're not talking about the original partition of British Mandate (ie British occupied) Palestine, they are talking about the extra land stolen since. If you want to value UN resolutions then look at them all (ie 242). You are right though, Jafra's rhetoric is sad and tired - sad because it is true, and tired because however much it is repeated by people who know what is going on the people in power refuse to listen.

I feel terrible for the Palestinians in so many ways. One of them is that they have had to negotiate with Israeli's who have your same ad hominem, uneducated and cruel mentality.

Israel is in violation of over 70 U.N. resolutions as we speak. These resolutions are of the most serious nature. The U.S. claimed to go to war with Iraq because of two trumped up UN resolutions by the U.S. So with Israel in violation of over 70 UN resolutions and many more that the US veteod but were overwhelmingly voted in favor of;it's ludicrous that you cite the the UN on Israel's behalf. Israel is the single most unlawful offender by UN standards than any other country in the world.

It was the UN general assembly, not the security council, that voted unbindingly to allow statehood for Israel and only after US and European Jewry pressure, propaganda and violence. Each and every leader of Israel past, and present could be tried and convicted of henious yet cowardly crimes. The UN, that you state represents the world, voted and upheld that Zionism is racism and this stayed for decades until Zionist characters lobbied the US top force the resolution to change.

As far as the UN goes, Israel is the very worst and most unlawful member and I know they rue the manner and way Israel was created and the crimes commited by the entity since.
