Have you ever heard of "sexism?" Its the reason why so many of women's contributions are lost to history, and the reason why you wrote that comment just now. Maybe you should do a little research on gender equality throughout the ages.

It does not matter, a woman wants their cake and eat it too. Women was put here to assist man. But because of a woman's charm and ability to manipulate man. The world have never been right since Adam and Eve. A Woman will spend more time thinking they can over step a man's role in this world than serving God. Todays women are in the positions to turn man against man, just as Eve had Adam eat the apple.

Men show a broader range on IQ tests, and women a narrower range, which means that there are more men with both higher and lower IQ's than women. Remember though, IQ is a measure of skills, NOT intelligence. Also, while men have a larger brain in terms of size, women's brains are more convoluted, which essentially levels the playing field.

I believe God created us equal, but that doesn't mean both men and women are good at the same things. Its kind of like comparing daylight with dark. A beautiful sunny day can be so enjoyable, at the same time sitting out and looking at the stars can be very magical. In other words, God's design for men and women are equally beautiful. A man can be smart where at woman isn't, likewise for a woman.

Guessing you don't read much, and probably not much of a historian either. The theory of the left and the right sides of the brain still doesnot prove anything..Yes ladies can build cities, nations, bridges, dams etc, provided they are allowed to do so.....If one's curious enough to know, how? then study the life of Madam Curie

The FACT is this discussion will be inconclusive. The Master Cosmologist's ( Theory of Relativity, 1905) brain weighed 1270 gms as compared to the typical weight of 1400 gms..Did that make him less intelligent than the rest ??? I guess not..because the neuron packing density was more than 90% as compared to a typical brain...and the rest we all know...

So give the ladies a chance and they can do much much better if not better than Men !!!!!

The biased comment below (by mathrules2006) was obviously written by a woman (who probably had a bad experience with a man). I honestly feel really embarassed for the person who wrote that because that comment seems completely rediculous to any reader hoping to read a constructive comment; rather than a bunch of whining, which was attacking the whole male gender while pretty much saying women are perfect.

I would first like to point out to people that the purpose of this sit and these discussions is to be informative and stir debate, not to bash and generalize people. That being said: The reason men generally score higher on IQ tests is because of when the test was developed. In the initial testing, girls scored higher than boys. The researchers back then knew that girls couldn't be smarter than boys, so they added more of the type of activities boys would excel in and took off the ones they would miss. This made their well-thought-out test unbalanced. It hasn't gone any significant changes since. (I am a male)

I completely agree with this article beacuse I see the plain truth everyday: woen underestimate their intelligence while men overestimateit. I can see this in myself, other women, and men...and it's a shame.To the idiot easyflyer..get your head out of your ass a nd look at history. Many of the invention u named were invented a long time ago when women were unale to recieve a proper education and if they did manage to recieve some sort of education it was much less thorough than that of men. Even today many women are still discouraged from pursuing carrers in high levels of math and science and to top oof, just like the article states, how you percieve your intelligence and how SOCIETY percieves your intelligen plays a big role in women's lives. SO the oly thing your FACTS prove is that so far men have contributed more to the technology..... big woop.
