I don't think that first paragraph about circumcision has any place in this article.

"Also, the Air also breaks ground..."

Are you serious? What else did it ALSO do?

Great review. I think aside from everything else the MacBook Air's biggest downside is in fact the measly 80GB hard drive. A larger drive would enable divx movies to be stored for on the go watching to compensate for the lack of an optical drive and of course would go some way in compensating for the single USB port so you wouldn't have to bring along multiple memory sticks.

What is a shame though is that the price puts this machine firmly in the 'not really necessary' bracket for many seasoned apple users. Myself, my friend and colleague all adore mac products and yearn to splash our hard earned cash on the 'next mac' thing...but none of us can bring ourselves to pay the premium for this new, if somewhat oddly positioned, apple beauty!

But are the dimensions that impressive? Sure, it's slim on the z-axis, but the x and y dimensions are equivalent to the Macbook. Does being thinner and a couple pounds lighter make it much more portable than a Macbook? Is it worth the extra expense and many missing or downgraded features? I might have been impressed if this was 10"or even 12", but at 13.3" I don't know why anyone would get the Air instead of the regular Macbook.
