While the group refrains from making explicit threats, one Militia of Montana bulletin quotes a "washington insider" as warning "that there is a high probability that President Clinton will be gunned down by labor day. They will use an AK-47 with blame put on the Christian fundamentalists."

Cause:

Despite its title, this is the only nationally coordinated militia. Founded last year by Indianapolis attorney Linda Thompson to protest the Waco raid, the group says it has 3 million members. (Experts think it's far smaller.) It warns that helicopters under U.N. command are preparing to attack U.S. cities.
