Don't do what I did and squander your money on the false Jehovah's Witnesses cult.

Danny Haszard gave all his money to the Watchtower building fund during my youth when I was making big bucks in the construction trade union.I did so because they lied to me that i would never need it for my retirement.Well I am 50 years old and I do need all my money back now that it's 2007 and the 'end of the world' is overdue.

The Watchtower religious racket also got all my grandfather's and my father's savings.

The Watchtower one year before the foretold end of the world 1975,was a time that I remember they were ordering the rank and file JW followers to liquidate their assets and go all out for the Kingdom of God.

The late 1960's was also a time period that Brooklyn H.Q. was really crying poor mouth ( JW children were sending in their piggy banks {Jehovah's pennies} i was giving them my paper route and egg money from my 20 hens).

I alone have been extorted tens of thousands of dollars of my life savings by the greedy bastards as an adult.

Get this! My elderly Grandfather Roger Haszard and MY Grandmother Ruth Haszard are living in Largo Florida usa circa 1987,(now deceased).

We get an emergency conference call from my uncle Wallace on 'what are we going do do with our aging patriarch as they are becoming helpless and are in need of a part-time nurse'.
My grandfather is busted as he gave all his assets to the Watchtower and his estate is all going to the Watchtower when they die.

There is no emergency cash to free up so the family now has pitch in to pay for their care.

The Watchtower has occasional hypocritical articles on caring for our elderly, they don't reveal how countless family's get into this bind on account of their wicked advice.

I so understand what you are saying, they tell you not to associated with your family if they do not share their beliefs, but when you are elderiy and need help THEY are not there to help they say it is your families responsibility - How Hypracitical!!!

Jehovah's Witnesses will grow old and die just like normal folks, when they trespass on my property with their recruitment pitch about everlasting life if I become a member they are LYING

I too serve Jehovah because of the individual He is. Not because of waiting for some reward like a hanger on of some pop star. So I die in pain before this happens. Big deal. I know that other people are involved not just me. People are coming out of false religion at the rate of some 500,000 a year now. If the end had come in1975 or earlier, they would not have the chance for living or knowing Jehovah.

Mr. Hazzard's family gave all they had and kept nothing. This is not in line with Bible principles either. We are to care for our families. If we can't do that, what chance does it give for the congregation? All the publications stress being reasonable. Give what you can, but remember that Jehovah does not need our money. There is no bank account in His name.

So some people leave. No one locks them up in chains to hold them like a cult would do. Their brains processed in information but it was never into their hearts. Jehovah only wants those sincere people loving Him for being Himself, not some made to order god.

When I exited the Jehovah's Witnesses in 1992 EVERY Jehovah's Witness around me,was convinced in their heart of hearts that they would NOT see 2007 in "this old system" Many had NO retirement plans for old age. JW are a spin off of William Miller second Adventist same as 7th day Adventist. The SDA freely admit it the JW lie and deny where they came from. Jehovah's Witnesses are thinking and the Watchtower is shrinking, I was in the cult and now I'm out. 13,000 leave the Watchtower corporation every month The Watchtower lies and people die!

Upon reading this article, "Apocalypse Later," I felt a desire to leave a brief comment. I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses and I would like to say that I am not worshipping God because I want to live forever on a paradise Earth. It is completely irrelevant to me whether the coming "Apocalypse" arrives this summer, the year 2020, or does not come in my lifetime. I am not serving God to get rewarded. I plan to worship him my entire life so the seeming "delay" of the fulfillment of God's promises changes nothing. After all, God himself warned us about this. He said at Habakkuk 2:3, "Even if it should delay, keep in expectation of it; for it will without fail come true. It will not be late." Any "delay" is from Man's point of view, not God's. He promises that "it will without fail come true."

Jehovah's Witnesses (the Watchtower society) are a classic high control group.
They thrive by picking apart all the flaws and sins of other religions making them the 'truth' by default. Where they generate controversy is when they go out and try to 'sell' these beliefs door to door.
Moreover, opposition comes from their shunning of ex members which breaks up many families.

Theologically,Jehovah???s Witnesses are a sect of Christianity. The oppressive organization does not represent historical, Biblical Christianity in any way.
Sociologically, it is a destructive cult whose false teachings frequently result in spiritual and psychological abuse,as well as needless deaths

["Believing the end was imminent gave a special urgency to being a Jehovah's Witness," says Ray Franz, a former member of the society's governing board in ...

""In short, the increasingly middle-class Witnesses would do well to buy life insurance.""]

Jehovah's Witnesses membership increase reports are "SELF-REPORTING" stats tallied by the Watchtower society themselves. They wouldn't cook the books would they?

There actually are now twice as many former Jehovah's Witnesses as there are active ones with thousands leaving every month.

    Ray Franz is a HERO!

    Jehovahs Witnesses dogmas:

    1) 1914 false for Jesus second coming (they say it was an *invisible presence* emperor new clothes fashion)

    2) Many false prophecies that you dared to print up by the millions and cannot deny

    3) Only literal 144 000 only go to heaven

    4) Corruption in leadership.

    5) Child abuse and abuse of your elderly many who put faith in the imminent *new system* and did not put away for their old age retirement .

    6) Thousands who died for the WT flip-flopping ban on blood transfusions.
