What are you talking about, cheap shot? Obama knows nothing, has done nothing, and is subtilely using the race card. Hilliary is calling a spade a spade.

honeyman I believe you. I am just like you. I feel more anger for the Clintons because I supported them. If it's the GOP you expect it. They bother me so much more now.

The manipulative Clinton apologies after the primary, that's what I want to see covered. Their desperation to undo the anger and divisions they created so they can still win the general election, it will be a sight to behold. Watch for it. He will stomp with anger and demand the party unite for his wife. She will cry and plead. Then they will congratulate each other on another slash and burn campaign.

Billary will win the nomination, there are enough stupid Democrats to put them over the top. Yes, I said "them." Folks know they are voting for the Billary repeat. It's a third term for these people. There is so much to toss at the Clintons that Obama could use, but he's leaving it on the floor. Shame.

factcheck.org proves Hillary and Bill are the only sleez bags who consistently lie about there fellow democrats records. You might think that's a good thing Mrs. Clift but I assure you 1/3 of our party has reached a point of total disgust. You can call that goody-goody but I call you weak and pathetic. Anyone who thinks that becoming like Rove and Cheney is a good thing for our party is intellectually debauched.

Oh, good one, KingDarron. But this was hashed and rehashed already. We know who you really are. You listen to Rush every day, and do his bidding. You sorry buggers will continue the Republican rule in the Fall, but it's your own country you are wrecking. I know, it's only the poor and the blacks you send off to die in Iraq, but you pay for it too. 2 trillion aint cheap.

And guess what? Trickle down economics was proven false by Bill Clinton. It's trickle up, my friend. And all you rich Repubs will have no customers when you finish pillaging the American middle class. You'll go down with the ship. The rest of us will go somewhere free and nice, like China.

    • Posted By: Servant @ 01/26/2008 10:12:50 AM

"free and nice, like China"???...that fails miserably even as sarcasm

I think racism is generational. As those so easily divided by the tactics of the Clintons get older and have less impact on the voting results, the opportunity to elect Obama will increase. Hopefully now but at least by 2012. My peers are very diverse and we are so much better for it. What happens in one country effects everywhere else. The world has grown very small. It is so tragic that the Clintons have benefited by their divisiveness but hopefully it will be very short lived. I would like to see a truly diverse and forward thinking Democratic Party. That is the way of the future and that is the way the US will see success.

The Billary camp is doing all it can to further destroy and divide this country and embarrass it in the world. The infidel label we gotten from some corners has validity as no person of any faith could be so shameless and scruple-less. When will the American media get away from gender and race and question the Clintons on the new strategy to focus on less educated whites because the Clintons feel their gullible and not bright or caring enough to discern the truth? When will the American media ask the Clintons about the 120 missing pages of the Barrett Report - could that be why they want back in at any and all cost no matter if they destroy the country and trash the last bit of integrity of its institutions in the process?

The thing about Hillary supporters, particularly woman, their only articulated reasons for support her is she is a woman and has 35 years of experience before they proceed to personally attacking Barack. Her 35 years makes her a subject specialist not executive material. Further why do these women who support her don't care or see her 35 years in a co-dependent relationship helping him destroy other women???s lives and female children???s lives ( if Bill can refer to a 46 year old man as a child then he new 19-22 year old Monica was a child).as a real question of her character or psychological health. I had tears in my eyes up when I saw the interview of Monica- her life and dreams destroyed - not employable because of the Clinton connections. I am a black woman who also practiced in the Clintons Arkansas - I do not understand these women???s logic or support - stronger sex crime laws , but its OK if I send my daughter for the awesome experience of being a Washington intern but if some old fart molest her and destroys her life and we like his wife, it is just fine. I bet the same women that think that is OK would not want to do away with sexual harassment laws in employment - that is what happen to that very young woman and many others, all the while Hillary was standing by her man covering for him.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Clinton supporters don't understand what will happen if they win this way. There's now a pretty clear understanding of the demographics, and it looks ugly. White Baby Boomer Democrats seem to be a group shot-through with racism and blind loyalty to a pair of carpet baggers whose political record is reprehensible on its face. If the Clintons are successful using this kind of obnoxious strategy, there will be a serious backlash against Boomer Dems. That will not be good for the Democratic party, to say the least.

I can tell you that myself, some friends and family have gotten turned off by the Clinton's behaviour to do anything to win. Their behavior and distortions, like on Meet the Press, in which Hilalry said: "Sen. Obama's chief strategist accuses me of playing a role in Benazir Bhutto's assassination.'' When in actuality David Axelrod never made such an accusation. He said former Prime Minister Bhutto's death will ''call into issue the judgment'' of ''taking the eye off the ball and making the wrong judgment in going into Iraq.'' and their recent attempt at voter suppresion in Nevada, entering racially devisive remarks into the campaign to dvide black and white voters in the following way -- On Martin Luther King's birthday, Hillary Clinton stood with Rev. Calvin Butts who read from hand-written notes to the general public aired on television: "I got several angry calls today from African American women who wanted to know how I could support this white woman".

This was from a Rev. who being intelligent, and supposedly Christian, I quess, read this incensory and inciteful phrase knowing full well it's intention of creating a racial divide! While Hillary stood there looking smug and nodding her head in agreement. That phrase should have never been read -- all he had to say is that he supported Hillary and why he supported Hillary. Then there is a compelling You Tube story from the former President of Now, Lorna Brett Howard, who Switched from Clinton to Obama, in which she explains that Hillary lied on Obama in regards to womens' issues so she is now supporting Obama. http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/post/samgrahamfelsen/CG5nh

These kinds of demeaning and unethical tactics from both of the Clintons, have shown a number of people another side to them which they did not know existed and it does not look pretty. In their attempt to achieve power, they have divided the paty and it is a deep division. They seem more like Karl-Rove Republicans than Democrats and it is a shame to see their moral demise! There is a negative way to fight (lies and distortions) and a positive way to fight. The leaders we elect into the highest office of the land should be men and women of principal and high moral character and should not engage in behavior unbefitting the highest office in the land.

In the future, there will have to be some kind of Campaign Reform: Rules and Regulations from the Perspective Parties in the way politicians run their campaigns to keep them truthful and from distorting one another's records.

I'll admit here to being a republican, and although it saddens me to think that so many people can not see the true nature of the Clintons after all of these years, I am reassured that They will not live in the White House again. Hillary belived that she would have no vetting and no serious opposition in the primaries and that once the general election began she could just play the victim of evil rich sexist repubilcan neo-con men once they started bringing out her life long history of corruption and lying.

Obama has treated her very gently so far. The worst he has brought up is the Walmart Board seat and NFTA. Hillary has much much more to answer too. Has anyone heard a belivable answer to how she made $100K from $1K in cattle futures her first time investing and then never invested in futures again? And that's just a start. She has never answered about the Rose law firm billing records or FBI Files or the White House travel office (I don't recall was about all she could answer). People will say that these were investigated already, and many of them were, and the results were generally "insufficient evidence was found to warrant an indictment" Is that now our standard for President of the United States??

And then there are the problems from the end of the Presidency because post impeachment that they were just given a pass on because people just were tired and wanted them to go away. The illegal fund raising from the 96 race (Lincoln Bedroom, Buppest Temples, the Chinese connection, witnesses taking the fifth or fleeing the country by the dozens), the pardons for sale, the refusal to release records from the white house,
    or Hsu more recently, etc..

(these are just the tip of the iceberg, I could go on and on)...

The Clintons are just truely sleasy operatives who will do whatever it takes to satisfy there own ego's. Many democrats have now have thier blinders removed and can see why many people truely detest the Clintons. It isn't about issues (although I disagree on many issues) it is about decency.

If Obama is nominated, I will oppose him unless the Republicans would be stupid enough to nominate Huckabee, but if Obama were to wins the Whitehouse I would wish him sucess for the good of the country. If Hillary and Bill are nominated (and this is really a two for one) I will do everything I legally can to see that they never set foot in the Whitehouse again.

frjiles1 I have considered carefully and yes, I fairly detest the Clintons. And you may find many like me who fervently supported the Clintons during their term and just don't want any more. We are exhausted defending them. Do you see Gore promoting the Clintons? He knew them too. He's saying nothing. The Clintons have used every mea culpa known to man and we're sick of them, don't want to defend them anymore. Kudos to New York, clearly they could handle her as senator. But many of us really had to defend them to friends and family during their last term. We're done. We want to move on.

It is great! This is so-called America! If there is any topic which can not be touched, that will not be a real/democratic America! Mr Obama can't not be criticized due to his African-American identity? Come on America, we could not risk our chance to not know/pound someone's thought by spoiling that condidate. Hillary did a great debate, through it, she showed her smart side and the great abilities to deal with huge challenges. It seemed everyone is trying to protect the lovable guy Obama from being criticized, thinking anyone from Democratic party will win the elections this Novermber, no!!! This is not a done deal now, democratics, don't be foolish, Americans will not choose the one the democratics thought for granted! Not at all. SO choose a real and capable one for Democratic party, not other's unrealistic/foolish thoughts for someoneelse!

America needs a real and capable and most representative and world wide acceptable president of AMERICA! Hillary is the real person to be the president!

It seemed that some Americans are choosing a "beauty man" ranther than a president. It is so strange that Americans are so "unrealistic" and "childish" in choosing a president. This is not a game for your "own and ego enjoyment" for such as The first what president in the US history or whatsoever. Ground ourselves on the earth Americans, don't be foolish to think other guy is so fresh, new, lovable, this is a president who will lead not only the America, but also the world, it is a huge challenge to a president of America.

Mr Obama's speech and debates so far seemed not a so smart guy as people thought! His articulation sometimes is very similar with George W. Bush who even could not speak and use English correctly! Mr Obama's speaking pattern is to some extent like G.W. Bush. Nearly 8 years ago, Americans used their "romantic/unrealistic" attitude to choose then so-called "fresh, lovable" G.W. Bush, America suffered greatly. Do we get enough from a guy like GW Bush for us? Yes, we are fed up with these sufferings. Choose and support Hillary, or America will suffer again!!!

CHoose the smartest, the most expericed and capable one to be the president of America, Hillary! She is the great person to be the next USA president, she will bring us with real results and prosperity ! Don't be jealous of her capability, please, she will only earn $400,000/year, she didn't get something for herself, she wants to do great contribution to America.

We don't want to have another G.W Bush (who is really not smart enough, who couldn't articulate things out clearly and correctly, let alone make a decisive decision at a very critical time facing America around the world!). Choose Hillary! She will lead America to a huge victory in every field around the world and lead America to another great glory! God bless us and America!

It seems that Eleanor is the one taking a cheap shot at Hillary. Hillary and Bill have only fired back when attacked. Why is the left wing of the party so anti-Hillary? The pie in the sky rhetoric by Obama does not earn him a free pass.

    • Posted By: nbeconar @ 01/26/2008 9:36:53 AM

Eleanor and Newsweek are part of the cheating and lying Republican machine! They want Obama to be the Dem nominee because his zero achievement record, lack of balls, inexperience and indecisiveness will be the major and critical story in the general elections! Obviously after being emotionally blinded, Americans will later on realize that they cannot take risk on anothe talker and non-decision maker like Obama to solve foreign policy problems and the economy. Inspiration and fairy tale talk will not just be enough!

And against Hillary, what can the cheating and lying Republican machines say? That she is not likeable? Ha ha ha!

  • Posted By: frjiles1 @ 01/26/2008 9:26:29 AM

Usually, I don't get into debate or would never think to post my opinion on ANYTHING dealing with politics but this is quite troubling to me. It amazes me how many of you are "dogging" the Clinton's and choosing to forget Obama's inconsistencies. If you want to support Obama........that is fine. Maybe he will make a change but at least be open minded, objective and fair when you criticize the candidates.

Although I am undecided I think Obama is a very charismatic speaker, He is moving and captivating. He definitely is a crowd pleaser. I won't argue there. However, my main concern about Obama becoming President is that I noticed that he can not answer a question straight forward. He talks around a question. Even though he states that the Clinton's have "fudged the truth" (and it may be true to some extent), when defending his record, he still can not give a direct answer. I find that to be VERY troubling..

If I recall correctly, during the SC Debates, Obama attacked Clinton, he threw the first stone...she had every right to defend herself and yes she did get a little aggressive but so what. Who isn't going to aggressively defend themselves when someone is attacking you........she is made to look like the bad guy. Why is that?? From what I can see BOTH have participated in some mud slinging. Why is she getting all the flack?!

Also I have heard SO MANY people complain about BIll Clinton campaigning for his wife.........SO WHAT........isn't MIchelle Obama campainging for her husband. Isn't she giving speeches to support her husband. Is it a crime. Now granted, some of BIll Clinton's comments may have gotten out of hand and I think he should back off a little with the criticism of OBama but there is NOTHING wrong with him being a strong and active supporter of his wife. LIke there is nothing wrong with Michelle Obama playing the same role for her husband.

I honestly don't see where Obama's campaign and tactics have been any different than the Clinton's. Actually, I feel that the only candidate that really haven't done or said some less than favorable things is Edwards, unfortunately, no one is listening to him which is why I can't support him.

Both Clinton and Obama are doing what they feel is necessary to win. I find it simply outrageous that the media and a great number of those who posted only comments on the Clintons!

If you don't like the Clinton's or don't want Hillary to win, that is your right..............but at least be fair and objective. All of the negative press about Hillary is making me support her even more. It is not right and I don't think she deserves it!.

  • Posted By: USMC1980 @ 01/25/2008 11:01:30 PM

When did Eleanor "I'm Nuts" Clift become Barack Obama's "mommy". All this crying and whining about how Hillary whupped up on Obama during the debate, is proof that media outlets like Newsweek and many other, are in the tank for Obama. Thanfully, the rest of America knows not to trust the media, hence the results in NH and NV. God forbid Obama was president, are Clift and Maureen Dowd goig to protect him from Bin Laden and Al Qaida too. We need someone with courage, intelligence and strength running this country, and that is easily Hillary and not Obama. Articles by Clift and Dowd, just confirm this fact. Hillary will win the nomination, and Dowd and Clift will be back washing windshields

    • Posted By: nwilkerson1@austin.rr.com @ 01/25/2008 11:19:18 PM

Have you seen Obama crying? I don't think so. I'm sorry who was the one crying when she thought she was losing the New Hampshire primary? Oh let me think? Oh that's right Hillary. Give me a break. Obama has character, integrity and intellligence. I'm not denying Hillary has intelligence but where is her character and integrity?

      • Posted By: nbeconar @ 01/26/2008 9:26:05 AM

Obviously, Eleanor and Newsweek are Republican chameleons and part of the cheating and lying Republican machines. They believe that it is only Hillary who can stand a chance against the cheating and lying Republicans tso hey are using terms like cheap shots and a guy named Obama to destroy her.

The truth is Obama will never win the general election. He will be an easy prey to dirty Republican machines like Newsweek! I bet, if Obama does win the Democratic nomination, Eleanor and Newsweek will sing a different tune and will say the things that the Clintons are saying right now! That Obama in fact is just a talker and not a doer! That Obama doesn't reelly have realistic goals about health care and the economy! That Obama lives on a fairy tale! That Obama provides inspiration and can't provide the answer. That Obama has no achievements to show! That Obama doesn't have the balls to make critical decisions!

But against Hillary, what can the cheating and lying Republicans say against her? That she is not likeable? That she doesn't inspire people? That she is divisive? Come on, WE know what Hiallry can do! But if we get blinded by our emotion and by dirty machines like newsweek, it might be too late for us to realiza that and by then the cheating and like Republican swill still be in the White House!

    • Posted By: RJ Shearer @ 01/25/2008 11:05:20 PM

USCM1980, I couldn't have said it any better! There will be a backlash if the press does not stop wiping Obama's backside for him.

  • Posted By: Sloane @ 01/26/2008 9:19:31 AM

zuni I do not think these are Republican trolls at all. You and most Clinton worshippers just don't want to accept that a Democrat could detest the Clintons so much. Believe it. I voted for Bill twice and rabidly defended him. Believe it. Seeing him stomp and spit and lie now makes me sorely regret that I supported this walking egomaniac. You need to believe this. The Clintons are bitterly dividing the Democratic Party.

  • Posted By: bachatero @ 01/26/2008 9:19:23 AM

I am a registered democrat and can't wait to have the Republicans booted off the White House but I won't vote for the Clintons. I'd rather have McCain. Their attacks on Obama are malicious and distorting of his record. No surprise. The Clintons are such a tired story, can't we find someone better in this wonderful land of 300 million people ? Is it a model for women to stand by your man's infidelities in order not to spoil your political ambitions ? i wonder.
