Ms. Clift is so biased she should change her name to Chelsea Clift. One week Hilary cries and "finds her voice", and the next week she returns to the same old Clinton M.O.: do whatever it takes to win...even if it makes dragging the country down with them. 8 more years of gridlock is on the way, thanks to all those NH voters who fell for her alligator tears.

The Clintons are taking the high road compared to the lowly Republicans. If Obama gets the nod for the general election, he will be swifted -- his admitted drug use will be distorted to that of a crack addict. The mud slinging now is only a dirt clod fight compared to the Republicans rolling out their earthmovers.

Thank God for Hillary. Obama would be a deer in the headlight in the general. And his fight against her is just making her a better candidate.

If any of you think the GOP would have a harder time coming up with material against the Clintons in a national election, you have been living in a cave. The Clintons have not run against the GOP since their last term. You have not seen it yet. And this time, if they are the primary candidate, I will enjoy it because the Clintons asked for it.

Thank God for Hillary. Obama would be deer in the headlights in the general election. And this will make Hill a better candidate when she comes up against the real enemy.

Obamas has been crying since he lost every primary since Iowa, where 17yr olds (who can???t vote in general election) and Bill Richardson supporters put him over the top, otherwise he would have lost there too. The media has told the country that SC is a racist black only vote. So why would anyone other than the only 1/2 black candidate stay there. John Edwards is wasting his time in SC per the media. I don't think that ALL SC voters are as racist and naive as the media wants to portray them. It???s an attempt to help Obama because his camp has made fools of the media. It took voters and an ex-president to bring his terrible senate record, bush/Chaney backing, republican loving, lack of good judgment and inexperience out in the open when the media tried to hide it. Frankly we are tired of obama crying! If he crashes so quickly because he???s getting caught with corrupt campaigning funds with Rezko etc??? what would he do when foreign leaders come at him? Run crying too, or call Oprah for help? ???Just what we cannot afford to take a chance on. Giving pre-written church speeches does not make a President. And having his wife, Michelle Obama stumping throwing out racial comments is disgusting! No one sees her as first lady material; we don???t even see her as a lady! No one was crying when obama camp was attacking Hillary? And ALL the media treating her unfairly. She has proven that she is a strong leader after all the attacks she has endured and over come. Thank God the voters are smarter than the media and obama give them credit for. DONT WASTE VOTES ON OBAMAS, WE DONT NEED A RACIST IN THE WHITE HOUSE

The Obama campaign says it has given away more than $85,000 in Rezko-linked contributions since Rezko was indicted on federal fraud and extortion charges in the fall of 2006.

An ABCNews.com review, however, has identified an additional $100,000 in contributions made to Obama from Rezko's associates that have not been returned, including $19,500 in contributions from Rezko's wife and employees of Rezko's business enterprises. The ABCNews.com review includes individuals who have been linked to Rezko in news reports, court documents and public records. ... ..

How Much Did an Accused Political Fixer Raise for Obama?
ABCNews.com Review Shows an Additional $100,000 in Rezko-Linked Contributions Not Returned by the Campaign of Barack Hussein Obama!! Go HILLARY>>>>U have it won!!

Cheap shots have been taken on both sides. How soon we all forget how Obama, sensing an opportunity in the September Philadelphia debate, slammed Clinton on her answer regarding Drivers Licenses for illegal/undocumented in NY, saying she could not give a straight forward answer. This is the same Obama who proceeded to give the same rambling answer in thefollow up debate. Or in general, constantly calling her experience into question, as if to say, anything she has accomplished is really of no significance, AND constantly calling her honesty and integrity into question ala the Republican talking points. Where was the uproar then? This is dirty pool on Obamas part, yet not a peep from the press defending Hillary, only glee at his putting his foot on her her neck. Please tell me. The media as always is trying to create a story line here, and when it begins to not work for them, i.e. following New Hampshire, they start their usual attack of Clinton. It is clear that the media doez notand has never been fond of HRC, instead they constantly run any story line, regardless of whether or notit has been vetted for truthfulness, that calls her into question. Not so with Obama, not one real hard question as to why he was able to buy a mansion for 300,000 under the asking price, thias at the height of the Real Estate bubble. If this were Clinton, you can bet that the media and the republicans would be asking anybody willing to spread a story why she has gotten just a sweet deal. Hmmm. We can not trust the media to be fair and balanced. Shame on you!!

Eleanor, you are obviously a Republican supporter! You are portraying Obama as victim of the Clintons when in fact he is a victim of politics! Politics is dirty! Republican politics is dirty! Ask Colin Powell about it! Colin Powell who would have been better suited to be President than Obama! Colin Powell would have been President ! But die-hard Republicans won't allow a multi-racial man to lead this country! So they forced him to back out eight years ago.
Eleanor, Republicans like you are so afraid of the Clintons you want to blind people with your story! Yes every American knows that Obama is inspirational and very likeable! But every AMerican should know that Obama is not yet fit to be President! What the Clintons are saying is really the truth! Records don't lie! What has Obama achieved that involved a critical decision! He is accusing Hillary for voting for the Iraq war, but did Obama vote against it? Do the Americans, and the whole world, afford a leader who doesn't make critical decisions? WE better know!

And everybody knows, especially Republicans like Eleanor, that it is only the Clintons who can drive those cheating and lying Republicans like Eleanor, out of the white House! These cheating and lying Republicans know that Obama's inexperience won't stand a chance in the general election! These cheating and lying Republicans know they won't stand a chance against the Clintons so they want to destroy Hillary by using Obama! Obama, with his personal issues and inexperience, will be an easy prey to these cheating and lying Republicans like Eleanor. I bet that if Obama wins the Dem primary, Republican chameleons like Eleanor would be saying the same things that the Clintons are saying right now! That Obama really lives on a fairy tale! That Obama does nothing but make promises! Obama who actually doesn't have realistic goals! That Obama is just a talker and never a doer! That Obama doesn't have the balls to make critical decisions!

But for Hillary, what will the Republicans say to mess her up? Nothing, they can mess up Bill but never Hillary! These cheating and lying Republicans know that Hillary can easily beat them! But she may never get the chance to do that because of dirty Republican media machines like Eleanor! And it will be too late for the emotionally blinded Americans to realize this and by then the cheating and lying Republicans would still stay in the White House.

DCSteve clearly you think the Clintons should run as a team of more than one. The Founders of the Constitution argued in the Federalist and AntiFederalist Papers against this for many reasons and cited in detail why. That Obama should just learn to "deal" with the Clinton's lies (and that ad was pure lies) does not make the Clintons better politicians, it just makes them liars. Yes, the Clintons are quite pleased with themselves and they have supporters who appreciate the art of slimy politics such as yourself, but they will finally, thankfully, age out of politics and a new Democratic Party can replace the divisiveness they so enjoy creating. They are exactly like the GOP, maybe worse because the GOP doesn't pretend they're different. Obama's background and message could not possibly be a better for the country and how it's perceived around the world. In a single election, Obama could change the world's perception of the US. And the Clintons cannot stand that he is a better messenger than they are.

If you think the Clinton's are fighting dirty, wait till Republicans swift him during the general election (if he is the candidate). Obama's admitted drug use will be distorted to being a back-alley crack addict and the narrow minded Americans will buy into it. We've seen the distortion of character by the Republicans before. You might disagree, but the Clinton's are taking the high road compared to what the lowly Republicans will do.. This mud slinging is a dirt clod fight compared to the bulldozer/earth mover battle when Republicans enter the fray.

Cheap Shots but Valuable is the title of this article. While the way it is setup it makes it seem that the Clintons have been the only ones involved in "cheap shots" the article itself indicates that both Obama and the Clintons have done some of this tit for tat and that Obama's response to some of it has been poor at best. The problem though is with Americans short attention span and the fact that most just skim articles most would take away that only the Clintons have been involved in the personal attacks and cheap shots.

I believe that Obama is less of a risk because I know more about him. I'm a "hick" from Iowa - a white, female, retired math teacher with a master's degree. A well-informed voter should study Barack Obama's website, but more importantly read "The Audacity of Hope" and "Dreams From My Father." Then it will be come very apparent that we do have a choice to elect someone based on the content of his character and
the wisdon of his vision. I totally agree with Hick from NH about what and who our country needs right now.

Shame is not a word any Clinton (or Clinton supporter) should use, unless they are talking about themselves! Anyone for a cigar?

well as a black man in Virginia I will never vote for Hillary or any other Clinton stooge now or ever again. They have gotten me so angry I am actually talking up McCain to everyone I know.

In these times of economic hardship and mortgage crisis, i find it unbelievably distrubing that people will make such comments about Bill Clinton who made this country an economic power house, budget in surplus, economic prosperity in the country for 8 years. No matter my differences with his personal lifestyle, i still believe he was one of the greatest presidents this country ever produced.

    • Posted By: Leebo @ 01/26/2008 8:24:38 AM

Uh, Clinton cannot be credited with any sort of economic policy that helped. He was in the right place at the right time. In fact, much of what he supported was decidedly non-progressive. Don't re-write history to favor the Clintons just because reality is not kind to them.

  • Posted By: Sloane @ 01/26/2008 7:41:59 AM

Lenedone your very lengthy response supporting the divisiveness of the Clintons is exactly what will cost the Democratic Party. The Clintons completely mischaracterized an interview Obama gave to the Reno Gazette, creating a radio ad so dishonest that every media outlet called them on it and they removed it. Of course only after they ran it for a while. Obama has not done this. No candidate in history has had their husband, a former president, used as an attack dog while they smirk into the camera as if they are innocent. The Clintons do not care how ugly they are as long as they win. Even Bush 43 did have have 42 on the campaign trail attacking Bill Clinton. But there she is, bringing her husband to stomp and spit, demanding everyone vote for his wife while they run lies on the radio. Yes, they are running a very ugly campaign and they will probably win. Once they do and once the Democratic Party detests each other and the Clintons, they will feel they have successfully run a campaign because they benefit from the divide. Then Bill will tear up into the camera and say "can't we all get along?" Hillary will weep and say she just wants a unified party. Because they know for all the hate they created, they will need to apologize for it later. What a scummy pair.

    • Posted By: DCSteve @ 01/26/2008 8:24:33 AM

      2 points, Mr Sloane;

      1) No other candidate has had an ex-president as their husband in US history
      2) Have you perhaps considered that GHWB know his son GWB was a village idiot? I did not care for Bush 1 but the man was no idiot. Maybe we should have seen his lack on the trail as "damning with faint praise"? -- oh if more people had picked up on that then!
      3) It always seems like your candidate lies are simply observations of facts, when the other candidates are terrible distortions. Human nature. I hope you don't take it too seriously. Obama diss'ed Bill by comparing Bill to Nixon, implied that the republicans were the party of ideas, and by implication, democrats in the 90's were not. He got his personal low blow in and now he is reaping what he sowed. I guarantee he won't do that again withou a lot of thought, so it was a good lesson for him to learn.

  • Posted By: Sloane @ 01/26/2008 8:24:10 AM

It is not true that the media has favored Obama in any way, in fact, CNN (Clinton News Network) appears as partisan as Faux is for Bush.

  • Posted By: natekng @ 01/26/2008 5:05:47 AM

When it's all said and done, it is going to be a Clinton/Obama ticket. Despite the blood letting during the primaries, Clinton will pragmatically choose Obama as her running mate because she knows he can galvanize new voters. They will than go on to beat the Republican nominees, and lead us out of the Dark Ages.

    • Posted By: Leebo @ 01/26/2008 8:21:54 AM

Oh. My. God. If Obama agrees to be with Hillary (or he asks her to run as VP) all respect I have for him will FLY out the window. No way. These two people are about a opposite as they come - not policy-wise, really, but in how they treat people and manage things.

      Obama '08 - completely WITHOUT CLINTON(S)!
