Black-Brown Divide

This author is correct. In NV Hillary walked away with the Latino vote. I think whites lie when they say they will vote for Obama if he is the actual Dem nominee. Obama has good points but one must consider the dynamic afoot in the nomination process. Obama is doing well now because a lot of Democrats do not want Hillary to get the nomination. He is the vehicle of the anti-Hillary vote . If he can deny her the nomination, the first order of business is over but once he secures the nomination, the electability of a black President takes center stage.

Putting all racial things aside for the moment....The most disturbing thing for me, personally, is that Obama will not look at OUR country's flag during the pledge of Allegiance nor will he wear our flag on his lapel! We are expected to except this because of religious tolerance? Obama is putting his beliefs before our country . Politics & religion are two separate things at least so I thought. It is extremely discerning that so many people support an ANTI American individual such as himself. What that indicates to me is that these people must also have ANTI - American sentiment that they could disregard such an important thing called PATRIOTISM.. So many people have died protecting our flag & THIS IS WHO WE WANT TO RESPRESENT OUR COUNTRY?!?!?! It is a simple matter than means so very much. SCARY that people cannot see that this is as blatant disrespect. This country became great because all the people had one common belief & it was called loyalty to their country & to their flag. That's what keeps a country strong & America seriously lacks this important quality. God help my country.

White women who get pregnant by the football quarter back in college get`s two abortions because she wants her career to be the most important thing in her life, the black women drops out of college to raise her child and takes the responsiblity. Five years later they see each other at the pharmacy, the same white gil who is a pharmacist says look at that girl with all thoses kids getting help fom the goverment.....She should have been like me and killed to be successful!

This is the mindset of white people...many do not face reality. Then cannot see wrong in themselves and many other minorities are worshipping these kinds of people. Not all white people are this way only the wones that are full of so called pride.

Stop taking cheap shots and face the facts. you are not better than anyone, you have crime and people on welfare and lazy white people just as much as anyone else if not more because there are more of you!!!

The Latinos that helped with the Katrina relief efforts didn't get the work because the black citizens of Louisiana were dismissed. They got the work because the black citizens refused to work unless they were paid exhorbitant wages. If they were hired for jobs it was only once, because the Latinos had a better work ethic. It wasn't just pay; it was the quality and quantity of work. I know this because my wife (who is a legal immigrant) has a relative (illegal) that worked on Katrina reconstruction for a year. She banked a lot of cash because of her willingness to work hard, show up on time, and her discipline. That had nothing to do with her legal status, and everything to do with her approach to life and work. Could that be the real reason for tensions between blacks and latinos?

Blacks blame Hispanics for the black continuance at the economic bottom. Interestingly, they do not say anything about Hispanic entrepreneurs, Nobel Prize winners, etc - just the immigrants at the bottom. Blacks are always looking for someone to blame instead of looking inward.

I find this all quite amusing. As a white person i would not vote for hilary clinton because we would just have bill clinton as president again, we need change so i'd vote for obama. he has a mind of his own, ideology of his own and the only reason that other white people are reluctant to vote for him is because they fear he will treat African-Amercans better than them. However htis is not the case, he is black but that doesn't mean he'll only look out for his own people, i mean George W bush didn't that much of a good job for anyone. Economic Recession, Unneccesary wars, Hidden iedeoligical wars ect.

I don't understand why latinos would favour whites oever African-Americans, this is because the white people will treat both (black and hispanic as just immigrants). You are the same to us. So i'll say this; any hispanic that favours whites over blacks, we do not feel the same(we don't favour you) but we'll still benefit from you favouring us. Both blacks and hispanics are thieving lying, bad people. People DO NOT VOTE BLINDLY, OR TO OPPRESS ANOTHER, VOTE FOR THE GREATER INEREST, THINK CHANGE.

The "Latino vote" is just as important to Obama as the "Black vote" meaning pretty much that it's not. Obama has NOT ONCE in any of his hundreds of speeches, interviews and town meetings addressed any "black issues" or any "latino issues". Yes, it is a race situation. Proven in large black community population states such as Georgia and South Carolina that black voters are choosing Obama because he's "black" (or so they say) reinforces the Latino opposition to that. No, we (meaning "Latinos") are not in competition with blacks for jobs or social status. In the largely diverse community that I live in Illinois, the Mexicans live in low-income, developing areas but are paying rent and utilities and a good sizeable number of the black community lives under the city's housing authority, in other words, public housing or in layman's terms, the projects. The whole idea of "being taken care of" by the governement in Latino's eyes is slothful and unheard of. We (Latinos, or all the one's I know) are proud of what we have earned and how hard we worked to accomplish anything that we have. The idea of living under "welfare, public housing, public assistance, or food stamps" is just unthinkable and takes away our proud feeling of dignity and respectability.

This obama lyed in navada and sent out flyers and said Hillary did not care about he Latino people .then later said he did not say that .but we saw the flyers hes a lyer and a bigot and in illinois he said the Latinos vote for him that another lye.we would never vote for a black.they are lyers and tradiors we will vote for Hillary she will make changes for the better.shes has ore experience to get the job done.

She knows who she is. Her family, brothers sisters cousins worship the ground that white people walk on! They all have White babies and brag about their blue eye and blond hair just a s much as white people do about themselves!!! Being Hispanic in the communities for over 20 years I can tell you that there really is no conflict between African -American and Hispanics..It complete political rubbish!!!

The problem is many Hispanics have been washing brown from their skin all the while claiming to be very proud to be Hispanic, yet hating black people all along!!

MLK fought for these people rights and when they got them they turned on black because they worshipped the image of success "White People " I mean think about... The Native Indian was conquered by the White Spaniards, rapped the Native women and had Spanish babies and made the native babies speak their language "Spanish"... The native Indian is Lost!

The same thing happened to Africans who are now African American but we never forgot who we were. Do you really think Spanish people are going to vote for a black man?

And Asian women 21 to 31 years old, 50,000 per year do mail-order brides just to marry a 55 year old and up White American to become American and the hottest selling product in Asia is products that make the skin white? Did you really think Barrack was going to get the Asian vote? These people worship "Idols" which is the 1st of the Ten Commandments Commanded by GOD!!! Not all Hispanics but a tremendous amount hate black people....just because white people do!!!! They will never admit it due to "Pride" but it`s true!!!
