Comment: too many flags for his speech! it looked ridiculous. i can just see them backstage, trying to figure out how many. we get it! he's pretending to be president! and that's as close as he'll get.
Comment:
Today we saw and heard a preview of our brightest possible American future in Senator Barack Obama's glorious speech. This, then, is what it means to be presidential. To be moral. To have a real center. To speak honestly, from the heart, for the benefit of all. If there was any doubt about what we have missed in the anti-intellectual, ruthlessly incurious Bush years, and even the slippery Clinton ones (the years of "what is is"), those doubts were laid to rest by Barack Obama's magisterial speech today. A speech in which he distanced himself from a flawed father figure, Reverend Wright, and did so with almost Shakespearian dignity and honor.
"This is it, it's here," I thought while watching Senator Obama lay it on the line. We are finally talking about race. Slavery, Jim Crow, economic enslavement, no FHA loans, the failure of affirmative action, busing, offended whites who match offended blacks in rage and fear. Obama shined a light on the conservative talk show hosts who fan white resentments, and at the same time, did not dismiss the reasons for the resentments. He reminded us that the dreams of black America do not come at the expense of white America.
Someone running for the highest office in the land finally talked about it -- the dark and secret swamp that we Americans dodge at every possible opportunity. As he finished the searing truth telling, I realized that this was not so much a speech but rather a unifying call to arms, an insistence that American people act on change. This was an order and a prayer from someone worthy of being called Commander in Chief -- an order that as a bruised and bloodied nation we finally discuss that what unites us, as well as that which divides us. So we can grow, together as a people.
Barack Obama's speech, perhaps one of the most important in modern political history pushed us as a people to move beyond race and gender, beyond Democrat and Republican, beyond politics and into reviving the spirit of the nation itself. To talk, to talk at home, at work, at the dinner table. To really finally talk. What a great day, and where else in the world but in the United States? Today I am very proud to be an American.
Comment: hillary is the same old game as g.w.bush she is a hawk on war and i have relatives serving in the military and we are sick and tired of old talking heads like hill, bill, and john mccain playing the same old checkers game hillary is only coming out with a playbook that bill is having her study he will not get a chance to disgrace america again for our children not to have a president they can bve proud of when they travel abroad and at home.g.w.bush has already gave us enough to feel that we cannot defend america with pride and dignity like we once used to do bill should be ashamed to even want to be in the american public eye trying to vye for another term in the white house because hillary donot have anymore experience as senator obama .he has served as long in the illinois legislationas she has in all her senate term. so all you hillary lovers get your facts straight. this is why senator keep saying the same old washington politicc of tearing each other down.and as far as mail clerk i bet you dont have as much education in your whole life as senator obama has in his finger.so when bill get back in the white house and bring more scandal on our great nation once again please please please donot complain because once a liar always a liar once a cheater always a cheater if bill clinton can not respect his marriage vows and his daughter i have no other reason to think he give a d---- about us.
Comment: I believe they vote for the Best candidate one with a proven track record the yields results. A person who can get results not just give Speeches. I believe we all Support getting the mess out of the in the White House and Straighten up the mess The Current Administration has made of America interest here at home and Around the Globe. I Believe the only way to do this is Support the better Experienced Candidate the only who has a proven record Accomplishing these task before. Hillary Can and Will turn us (the Nation) around in the right direction to Regain our dignity for our Children and Loved ones for a better tomorrow. On Issue after issue Hillary Clearly is the Best Candidate in this race Democrat or Republican. We don't need a bunch of Speeches we need results. We need someone who can answer Questions from Republicans are sure to ask during debates that are Credible, Understandable, Defendable, and can be accomplished to move our Country in the right direction. Obama Couldn't even answer Questions from Hillary that made since asking because you didn't know of where he stood or how his own his plans would work. Hillary did answer the Questions and has the best overall plan For Universal Coverage on Health care to the Economy.
Comment: I guess he "Obama" already Adopting the message of his Idol George W Bush "Stay the Course" The senator tells NEWSWEEK he's 'not going to back down.' But he knows he'll get knocked around. I bet he is not into nation Building either and we be a uniter not a devider like his buddy.
Comment: 1. Millions Of Oprah Billions Money "Who has lost her viewer since she backed Obama"
2. Ted Kennedy, Caroline, John "The swift boat loser" Kerry And the governor of Mass. Backing Obama and campaigning heavily in Mass and California.
3. National Media that doesn't want a fair election would demonize Hillary and Recreate Obama as if he is Jesus risen. "This is clearly apparent if you watch the news they put up a 30 second segment of Hillary and Bill voting but then for the next two hours show Obama on stage with Ted "The Lady killer" Kennedy, Caroline A "Kennedy on in Name, Oprah " I use my Billions to pay off the media" , Maria "I just feel outta bed and decided to support the status quo"
4. 4 to 1 money spent in favor of Obama in California, Mass, Jersey & New Mexico. Along with several millions spent to place a Super bowl AD and Obama opening Backed New England but then after they lost said "they just didn't have it tonight" "Hillary Won all these also even despite all that money endorsements and Character Assassination attempts from the Obama Camp and Mainstream Oprah paid Media coverage"
5. Incorrect polls that Showed this huge Swing where Obama was supposed to destroy Hillary in every state 49 - 36 like in California, Mass. New Hampshire, Florida and Michigan "Where he "Obama" still doesn't want the votes to count" Hillary won all those.
6. Obama did Capitalize in those Republican Voting states where General Election states they vote republican after supporting Obama to try and knock Hillary off! And From 24 Hour Media Assassination Of Hillary and listing these incorrect polls since some sadly there are a bunch of people who vote for whoever the Media say is the Favorite not the best Candidate.
7. Crying about how Super delegates might vote from the Obama camp all the while saying there winning in delegate count when they havent even been fully totaled.
8. Running on a Platform of Change but not having the slightest vision or message to what they are changing and how they are going to accomplish it.
9 Playing up the Racecard after not running as a Black Candidate in Iowa but then after losing in New Hampshire Crying in a Debate about how the President is Picking on him to make White vote feel sympathy towards Obama when Bill was only stating facts but the Media has to make to Spin of the comment which then made Black voters thank they were being insulted by a friend whom they loved in Bill but now have turned as Racist as they accused others of being voting 82 to 18 against the best Candidate because of skin color.
10. Obama is a first year Mail clerk trying to be CEO the nest day. Obama does have something in common with experience just like George W. Bush who had no experience seen how that turned out.
Hillary 2008 "The Best Qualified Candidate"
Comment: Barrack Hussein Obama! What a name "You can trust? Not!!!
1. -Graduate of Columbia and Harvard by a GPA of 3.1 Wow smart as Bush!
2. -Taught Civil Law at university was removed because no one could understand what he meant there either
3 --State senator for several years Since 2004 So much experience! Like a mailroom Clerk trying to be CEO,
4 --Predicted Iraq troubles from the start and voice his opposition. Oh yeah then got somehow mistaken and took message off his website and has supported it ever since voting in support of it,
5 -U.S. senator. ya that votes present to avoid tough decisions
6 --Leadership that brings people to together: Democrats, Republicans, Independents! Ya so much so that after debate knowing he lost Said that he would get Hillary votes but his Supporters wouldnt get his if they got the nomination.
Comment: 7 -Great speaker that inspires hope. Yeah he can sling the BS without substance!
8 --Doesn't have baggage like Billary. Sure he doesn't like Crack cocaine use and Rezko and Muslim links and lying to the public and being caught in his own words.
9. -What a Joke!!!
"Obama Couldn't even answer Questions from Hillary that made since asking because you didn't know of where he stood or how his own his plans would work. Hillary did answer the Questions and has the best overall plan For Universal Coverage on Health care to the Economy. "
Hillary in 2008
Comment: Obama shows a history of not sticking with anything, he is a classic child of the Reagan "me" decade. This was also the last time someone running for President was credited with bringing out the young vote, as well as what were referred to as "Reagan Democrats".
Here is a sample of his I'm bored and need to move up political history.
Elected to Illinois State Senate in 1997, got bored and ran for Congress in 2000 but lost. Decided to run for U.S. Senate in 2003. Elected to U.S. Senate 2004, three years into his six year term he decides to run for President.
The President is elected for a minimum of a four year term, will he become bored or disinterested again? Is it worth the gamble?
Obama, show me you will stick with something before I give you the key to the most powerful office in the country.
Comment: I am sorry but Obama is another Kerry, he never expresses his opinion one way or the other. Hmmmm, and ironically enough look who is endorsing his campaign. Remember what happened to Kerry, he went up against the worst President in history and was torn apart in debates because he never had an opinion about anything! Why do you think Hillary is supported by true democrats because we know what a good, strong leader looks like and who will hold up in a debate against the Republicans because trust me young independent, first-time voters, it gets ugly.
In my opinion, he would make a very weak leader. Not to mention the fact that he is a total cry baby. He disses Hillary every chance he gets and then whines whenever the Clinton campaign makes any legitimate criticism about him. Looks to me like he is already prooving his political in-experience!!!
Comment: How can get in touch with Edmund ???Teddy??? Nicholson. Great Job Teddy. Iam doing same in Germany here. I think that the US president is so important to the world that the international voice should counted too while electing the us president. I am a supporter of Obama. Clinton/Bush/Clinton: it is really time for change in the us Politic. Please imagine Obama as president and saying to someone like Fidele Castro hallo and giving him his hand. Don't you think that may more help the cuba people than the 50 years of trying to kill Fidele. What is increadible change that we create for the entire world.

Comment: I think Obama is exactly what this country needs right now. The country has been divided and polarized thanks to the hyper partisan politics of the past. The culture wars and the politics of fear were combined by politicians in both parties to use wedge issues to divide a jaded and cynical public. With an economy in decline, a war with no end in sight,, corruption, and constant fear mongering in our media and our politics, Americans are looking for hope, for change, and some one to make them believe that better days are ahead. Obama offers that. It is time put the good of the country ahead of our petty squabbles and our fears. It's time to solve the real problems facing our nation and the only way to do that is to get a large majority of the public behind one candidate who can lead the way. Obama is that candidate.
Comment: What exactly are Obamas plans for the US. He talks a good game, but has no substanceI find it laughable that Obama, who is saying to all, that he will bring change to Washington from the "politics as usual" crowd, yet is being endorsed by the oldest "politics as usual" politician...Kennedy. I also don't understand why the media does not go after the Rezko story. Even the Chicago Sun-Times says he is mired in that mud up to his chin, yet everyone else is treating it with kid gloves.
Also laughable, is the New York Post has endorsed Obama. That's like getting an endorsement from the National Inquirer.
Comment: So, what is Obama going to change exactly? How is he going to change anything when he doesn't even show up to vote? Don't get caught up in his clever political rhetoric, listen to his speeches and analyze them critically. As a civil rights leader, yes he would be wonderful. As President of the United States, he is not ready at all!

Comment: I agree with so many others who have been watching the debates that Obama is just not ready to be president. After only one year in the Senate, he declared himself presidential material. Well, during the Nevada debate it appeared to me Hillary and Edwards were both giving Obama a voting lesson. It evidently appeared clear to them, and me, that he needed a lesson. Obama voted "present" (means "maybe") one hundred times where he should have voted yes or no. He said he didn't agree with something in the bill and wanted it fixed so he voted "present". Hillary and Edwards told him then he should have voted "no".
Then there was the credit card 30% ceiling to vote on. Hillary and Edwards both said they voted "yes"..because it was better to have a ceiling then none at all. Well Obama thought it was too high and novted "no". Well, when he voted no, he gave the credit card companies the green light to charge even more than 30% interest . So, as a president he would have the final vote on a bill.. do we really want him signing off on bills that affect us and our economy? I don't. He doesn't now how to vote n bills. I'm voting for HIllary. She doesn't lose things, knows how to vote in the Senate, she can multitask, she will over see things and make sure all runs well after problems are corrected. She answers questions directly and offered solutions. She will get things done in a timely matter.. not like Bush who is still dragging out things.. which he doesn't really want to get done.. like tackleing the illegal immigrant problems, and so much more.
Please watch the Democratic debate on CNN Thursday evening January 31st. Please vote wisely.
Comment: Barak Obama is so naive,it is not even funny.Republican party machine will chew him up and spit him out in no time! If he thinks it is like Chicago community organizing,he is in for a rude awakening. But what gives with all the media pundits and the Kennedys anointing him our next president. Can't be pure misogyny...can it?
Comment: Be aware that Obama is the only candidate that Pledged to fight to keep Net Neutrality!! (Probably the only one young enough to understand what it really means!)
As you know, the Internet has become the only TRUE source for Freedome of Expression and Thought!
By abolishing Net Neutrality, it becomes the first step in giving Big brother control over what we can access online, essentially reversing the Internet Revolution!!
Don't let them kill the only last truly free venue we have!! Barack is fighting to keep your voice heard!

Comment: Remerber when trains were the main source of travel across country? With trains they had a baggage handler who helped train passengers to load and unload thier baggage;; This will be both Bill Clinton and his second-in-command Hillary if they return to the White House via her election. The only difference will be the baggage they will be handeling will be full of favor's owed, past deals made and outright business as usual. As anyone could see by the Florida actions of Hillary in making a big deal of winning nothing what will she stop at if elected President, providing Bill is not there to do what he wants. As far as I am concerned neither Bill, not Hillard should be allowed to make any decisions as it relates the the United States. Besides Bill could not find another Monica because he would not be sitting at his desk??
Comment: O is right: HRC has ZERO cross-over appeal to the GOP, limited appeal to independents, and a large number of dems, appaled by the Clintons for bringing scorched-earth Rove/Atwater tactics into the party for purely personal gain will stay home. Also, on the "authenticity" front, McCain beats her hands down. The only party HRC can unite is the GOP, and her name on the ticket will be "fatal" (McCaskill) for the down-ticket, and hurting congressional elections in red-turning-purple states. DOn;t let the circus back in town - we deserve better!
Comment: Our grandparents lay claim and bragging rights to the American Revolution and the Civil Rights Movement, our parents claim Woodstock. Our generation is still yet to stake out our claim. Every once in a life time an opportunity makes itself available for us to make history, and as young people our time is now.
We need to stake our claim as the generation that change the trajectory of American politics. We need to ascertain this as our bragging rights to our children and grandchildren. Some of you may be thinking that this is about Obama, but truly this is bigger than the man himself and we can only hope that he will put together a cadre of leaders who will share our vision and aid us in executing this bloodless revolution. "Without vision a people perish"
Throughout history there has never being a bloodless revolution. This is our opportunity to move America back to the forefront of the line. Let the entire world see that we as a people are truly a pace and trend setter, accomplishing what no other nation has ever done before. Removing the power from the elite group and putting it back in the hands of "we the people" without spilling a single drop of blood.
If you want to make your exit from mother earth without making an impact then discard this message, however, if you choose to let your memories live on, then forward this to all the people in your circle, so that they too can become a member of the bloodless revolution and claim their legacy.

Comment: About his being able to get Republican votes in the general election, not so, if you listen to, read the right wing they want him in the general, there out there voting now because they can beat him, and they are slowly in quite working on their ammunition. As far as him accomplishing things in office. Until Hillary announced that she was running for the presidency, the republicans said she was one who worked hard to get things done in the background not looking for the glory, and that had surprised them. Go back and look at the press at that time. Then look at Obama's record, he was always wanting to be the show, not the worker. As far as who was responsible for the race turning dirty, follow the trail and you will find that the comments of Barracks supporters really are the ones that got this going. Look at legislation in the Illinois senate and see if Obama was a behind the scenes worker or a showboat? Go back and look at the dirty politics that got him from the Illinois state house to the U.S. Senate, it was not a pretty sight and yet he managed not to get with any of the dirt being thrown around. All the press are talking about a picture of Bill and Hillary with Rezco, no one is telling where it actually came from. Isn't it amazing that the fact that Obama purchases a house for less than what they sell for there, then Rezko's wife pays more for the lot next to that house for more than it was worth and yet sells a portion to Obama for less than what it should have been worth. Besides that, to seperate land from one property to connect it to the one next to it usually takes a lot more time than this sell took. Remember that Fitzgerald ( now investigating Chicago Politics) was the investigator who couldn't manage to get the evidence in the CIA agents outing by the White house. Would it really surprise anyone if evidence starts leaking out after Obama wins the primary and the general election begins?
Comment: So we now have a POLITICAL PROSTITUTE--- He sold out to OLD WASHINTON and it didn't take him a month to do it.... So much for CHANGE....right back to a Kennedy run whitehouse... and so what about Carolyn,,, she was a little girl, didn't really know her dad,so this guy can memorize a speech...and actually speak.. yeah,, so an my 10 year old... Go Hillary!

Comment: TOP TEN LIST:
What I learned when I turned off biased news networks like FOX/CNN/MSNBC.
10. I actually like to watch movies on my big screen TV
9. "Change" is what I find in pockets.
8. I don't have E.D.
7. I don't HAVE to argue about politics anymore.
6. I realize I only have one vote, and it takes place in NOVEMBER.
5. The "noise" left my head and peace filled the air.
4. It is okay for someone I like to support someone I don't like.
3. Whoever wins the presidency is going to have a very difficult job, but they get a nice house.
2. The loser will look younger then the winner in four years.
1. When I turn off biased annoying arrogant newscasters, I hold the remote control and there is nothing they can say or sell to me, until I turn them back on.
Comment: By seeking and getting the endorsements of establishment liberals, like Ted Kennedy, leahy, John Kerry, etc. is not Obama shooting himself in the foot concerning his stated strategy for winning in the general election -- namely that he can attract Independents and Republicans? I wonder . . .? How smart is it to court the most liberal end of the Democratic party if your ultimate aim is to be able to attract Independents and Republican votes? There is something not right with this picture!
Comment: He wouldn't be much of a bridge-builder if he burnt liberal bridges behind him in his effort to reach out to independents and Republicans. You're still stuck in the old worn-out zero-sum mindset.
Comment: I am the same age as Caroline Kennedy and I liked it when she mentioned today that it was her kids who first encouraged her to take a look at Barack Obama, because it has been the same story here with my kids. Obama represents a change that is particularly appealing to the younger generation, who like it or not, will someday be running this country and taking care of us old geezers! I don't think I can bear another 40 years of partisan bickering, and if Obama's ideas can persuade a new generation of American voters to take the reins, and set forth to running this country in a new way, more power to him. We are in such a deep hole right now in so many areas, my vote is for real change with Obama, and I am glad my children will be taking part in this historic journey.

Is this Obama NOT injecting race into the campaign since he said his lines during his victory speech in SC? Why isn't the media questioning this? If Hillary or Bill had said it you would be all over them.
Comment: When the media is so enamored of Obama, how can they question him honestly?Hillary can be abused and be ridiculed as Billary and accused of playing the race card and gender card,if she opens her mouth. It makes me sick to watch this mass hysteria over a goodlooking, articulate lawyer, who is too immature to know any better. But ofcourse he is savvy enough to seek old Ted Kennedy to 'mentor' him and got into his good books!
Comment: Owe stop it! African Americans joke out these words in the privacy of their homes. I for one never saw the movie and I am black. I do know the term because of word of mouth. I was joking with them as they joke with one another. No one takes this stuff serious in the African American community!

Comment: Ted Kennedy endorses Obama today; John Kerry and Pat Leahy a week or two ago. Obama talks abotu change, ridging DC of the establishment, and that this is a race about the future not about the past. When will the media call him on his hypocricy?
Comment: What Hypocrisy??
That he got powerful endorsements from Senators known to champion civil rights issues??
Where is the Hypocrisy? What are you babbling about?
Comment: All of that said, this isn't about character assassination. It's simply outrageous how unbalanced the media coverage of this race has been, with MSNBC and CNN already coronating/lionizing Obama as the celebrity candidate who can provide the most sensational story fodder. I'm just trying to level the playing field a little bit.
Stop characterizing this race as a one-domensional GOOD VS EVIL; CHANGE VS STATUS QUO type of epic. Because its not. Obama and Clinton are both empty, centrist vessels. Grow up and look at their stances on the real issues. Don't forget, there's still a third candidate in this race. And unlike his competitors, he's the only one with any substance to his rhetoric.
peace.
Comment: Finally an intelligent response. I was beginning to think I was the only one out there who thinks the same way you do. Also, I thought I might be able to go through one day without Newsweek once again going on raptuously about Obama. Get kicked around... I hope Hillary just kicks the "sh**" out of him.
Comment: Thank you! It is not just Newsweek and Alter,it is Msnbc and Chris Matthews etall I feel I live in Saudi Arabia watching a woman being administered 100 lashes in the public square, for daring to campaign for nomination
Comment: This board is so deluded I might as well continue dropping truth bombs. For those prepared to refute my previous criticism, here's one of many sources.

Furthermore, its appalling that the mainstream media has not brought more attention to the circumstances surrounding Obama's dubious Trinity United Church in Chicago. Nor have they asked Obama the tough, justifiable questions concerning his relationship with Rev. Jeremiah Wright, his so called "spiritual advisor." Surely, if Clinton or Edwards attended a church with a racially inflammatory agenda, the media and popular opinion would burn them at the stake...
Wright is an outspoken proponent of black liberation theology, and his church-operated magazine presented an award to sensationalist anti-white, antiseminte Louis Farrakhan. Wright has celebrated Farrakhan as a man who "truly epitomized greatness." Americans should question why Obama associates himself with such an institution, and it is even more alarming that he refuses to address the issue, simply distancing himself from Rev. Wright in the public's scrutiny.

If only we had a MSM outlet that wasn't afraid to report factual evidence....
Comment: Any Obama suporter purporting to care about the environment needs to remove his or her head from a certain orifice. Obama is an outspoken supporter of "clean coal" and coal-to-liquid technology that will help propogate a fossil fuel economy for decades to come. His promises are empty and the success of his rhetoric is predicated on the credulity of the American people and the unscrupulous media. His environmental policy is much too little, too late.
Edwards has been talking about green infrastructure for ages now. He will establish a moratorium on new coal fired power plants and refuses to resort to nuclear energy (which is NOT sustainable, either) to further avoid our adaptation to a green economy. So why not vote for him?
Obama's campaign is insulting the intelligence of the American people. And I'm saddened to concede that its working.

Comment: Rezko got OBAMA a cheaper .price on his house WOW big deal. OBAMA did not collude with REZKO in order to get his house at a lower price. REZKO DID IT ON HIS OWN, That's how politcs works in this country. If you have money and influence you are going to use it. DID you notice who Clinton pardoned at the end of his presidency. Do you remember the CLinton's Arkansas land deal. Cheney does business with Halliburton a company that ripped off our troops in Iraq. We are talking about one hundred and thirty eight thousand dollars REZKO donated to OBAMA. OBAMA took the man's money and put it to good use. NOW if Barak was his business partner and actively involved in SLUM LORD BUSINESS then that is another story. The guy got his house at a cheaper price because of REZKO, it is not his fault that REZKO went out of his way to get OBAMA a cheaper price. OBAMA never told him to do that he did it on his own because he likes OBAMA. Federal prosecutors manipulate the justice system. What they do is offer immunity or some type of lesser sentence to the criminal. The criminal then has to abide by the prosecutors agenda. This is a big problem because the criminal has every incentive to lie in order to reduce his sentence. REZKO must be thinking how he can work out a deal with prosecutors. WHEN your freedom is on the line you will say and do anything. anything.
Comment: Do you think that that Obama did not notice that he got his house for $300,000 under the asking price while the Rezkos paid FULL PRICE for the lot next door? Senators are not supposed to get those kinds of favors - something Obama surely knew. Oh, and all this happened after there was a lot of publicity about Rezko being investigated for corruption.
Comment: Looks like Hillary's hands are pretty dirty from her good buddy Norman Hsu.
August 29, 2007
WASHINGTON -- For the last 15 years, California authorities have been trying to figure out what happened to a businessman named Norman Hsu, who pleaded no contest to grand theft, agreed to serve up to three years in prison and then seemed to vanish.
"He is a fugitive," Ronald Smetana, who handled the case for the state attorney general, said in an interview. "Do you know where he is?"
Hsu, it seems, has been hiding in plain sight, at least for the last three years.
Since 2004, one Norman Hsu has been carving out a prominent place of honor among Democratic fundraisers. He has funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions into party coffers, much of it earmarked for presidential hopeful Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York.

Comment: Bill and Hilliary don't seem to understand that Barack Obama represents the new generation in politics. Haven't we had enough of the old Clintons and Bushes? Do we want to go back and recreate the divisiveness of Bill's reign in the 1990's by putting Hilliary back in office. What will Bill do as the spouse of a president? I think that we've had enough. Now is, indeed, a time for change very similar to Kennedy's time.

Let the bloodless revolution be your American Legacy.

Comment: Do any of us want more of the same from the Clintons and the Bushes? Isn't one Clinton enough for all of you in your lifetime. Hillary should know that her time is over and that today it is important to go forward with some newer people such as Obama. What will it take for her to see that she and Bill have had their time in the sun?
Comment: Obama is responsible for his positions and record, and his behavior. HE involved himself with a known slum-lord in Chicago.....That's okay...Because if you ask him about it he pulls the race card out...screams...Oh they are playing dirty.....HA! The Feds Arrested Rezko today.....You think the Clintons were behind that too, or just maybe it is possible that our Federal Government actually arrest people who break the LAW!!!!! YOU people are the people who are colored blind...anything OBAMA does is okay because he is black....That's what is causes the racial divide. And the more OBAMA is held to "walk on water status" the less appalling his is to the rest of AMERICAN voters. Arrogance and ignorance. Change turning into Chains.

Comment: LOL...you buy that boloney about experience? Traveling on behalf of the United States as a "goodwill" ambassador is NOT foreign policy experience! Obama has more experience as an elected official than Hillary does and MUCH MORE political capital to garner the kind of support needed to push through any real reforms. Hillary Clinton will succeed at fighting with the Republicans and nothing will get done, least of all her plan for universal health care which has a snowball's chance in you-know-where of actually getting passed. Good luck with that!
Comment: The gane rules for Slick Willy and venomous Hillary is to Lie and slime your way into the Whitehouse !!

Comment: Look who's past is coming back to haunt them, Rezko is in jail, Obama is trying to sell he had no idea Jeremiah Wright was a radical. Elect BO who talks out of both sides of his mouth has no real concrete ideas of his own. Michelle Obama, is finally proud of America, we all need to look at what we are being sold, a bunch of radical racial hatred, I think you forgot to polish Michelle's views, no matter how much you spin all of this, Jeremiah Wright's hatred will be the glow that leaves the lasting impression.
Talk about getting nothing done, let BO in and we will have all sides fighting, for a uniter we have had more fighting in the democratic party than past years. You can call the Clinton's whatever, but we had a surplus, for GW to squander.
Yes BO the time has come for the people to recognize your not what you say you are, the crusader for change is worse than the past and has more baggage to come. For a person that is not about the past you remind us of it everyday,
I just hope it's not to late for us to abandon ship, and right the course, we were almost "bamboozled, but you see I may be an African American, but I care how others are treated, it's not just one sided. I don't want a person in the highest office, keeping company with someone who is "GDing America, because as you say "words matter". I think it's time to address the issues that matter most, and we need a democratic president to address those issues.
Comment: I think if Obama gets elected, then we better move to Canada right away. He is not experienced enough to run this country. I am for Hillary, and I will vote for someone with experience. She has been in the White House before for eight years with Bill as President, but as everyone knows, the 1st ladies usually help to make the big decisions. I would rather have a candidate that can start running the country on day one, not deciding what they should be doing on day one!
Comment: I don't know that first ladies help their husband's make the tough decisions - as far as Hilary is concerned - if she has 35 years of experience - and is as influential as she claims - why is our country in the condition it is? And what has her experience done for me? I remember her standing behind Bush at the time the war was being declared - and her demeanor was smiling - not something an elected officials - whose job is to serve and protect - while the decision is being made to send our young men and women to war. Comment: The Clintons have commited numerous white collar crimes and gotten away with it. Do we really want to put a couple criminals back in the White House. When will Americans wake up and demand a president with ethics and morals beyond that of an alley cat? Haven't theyt had enough lies and cover-ups from this administration. Don't they remember Bill sitting in front of the whole country and lying his ass off? That doesn't matter? Hillary was complicate in all this. Didn't their friends go to jail or kill themselves over Clinton's dealings in Arkansas?
Comment: The Clintons were investigated by every asset our government could muster and the results were zilch. Lets not forget that Louis Freeh the Republican Bill Clinton appointed to be head of the FBI because he was supposed to be such a stand up guy did all he could to bring Bill down. Bet Freeh's Opus Dei friends have made sure he was well rewarded for this. Too bad it cost us taxpayers $70+ millions of dollars.
Comment: THE CLINTON"S ARE JUST TO polarizing. Too many scandals, to many investigations. I do not believe they are guilty in all those scandals I just believe AMERICA needs a change from the establishment. We do not need a years worth of divisive campaigning. IT would be amazing to see McCain vs OBAMA. A GOOD CLEAN HEAVY WEIGHT FIGHT. NO ONE GETS THEIR EAR BIT OFF. A ROMNEY CAMpaign would be just like BUSH'S very divisive and full of lies. IF AMERICA CHOOSES THESE TWO CANDIDATES to represent their respective parties then I think the AMERICAN political process can begin to heal and set an example to the rest of the world. WHAT KIND OF MESSAGE ARE WE SENDING IRAQIS and AFGHANS. IF we promote racial divide why shoud they give us the benefit of the doubt concerning ABU GRADE and BLACK WATER. ARE WE REALLY RACIST CAN IT BE THAT THE CLINTON"S ARE A REFLECTION OF OUR SOCIETY. DIVIDE people so we the CLINTON'S can attain the power we are entitled too and so rightfully deserve after my conduct in the OVAL OFFICE. No one else is capable of being president. I will become nasty and play the race card because the "MEDIA" is trying to take away the presidency from me and my wife.
Comment: White oppression continues to this day, just as our forefathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters were when they were ripped from the bosum of our culture. We, solely, my fellow African kings and queens built this nation but have not shared in its wealth. Obama represents an opportunity to right wrongs, distribute wealth fairly, and make reperations from the heirs of slave owners to the only heirs of the people who were forced to build this country.
Comment: Oh please...... Is that all you can come up with, queenie. Your forefathers and forebearers should have done what was suggested oh so many years ago... go home... same applies for all who are here now..... hey... with all the bucks Obama's piling up, maybe he'll buy the boat for his people....
Comment: Zippity doo-dah , zippity deh; my, oh my, what a wonderful day! Please don't throw me in that briar patch!
Comment: A simple test.. . . . If you don't feel you are a racist or sexist person, then ask yourself this question. What if George Bush was Black? Or a woman? How would you characterize the past 7 years then?
Comment: The rest of the "free" world is laughing at us right now. We haven't seen a more eloquent and intelligent group of democrats running for president in YEARS. Let's all just do a little research and vote for the best person to run the country. STOP being racist, biased, uninformed and narrow minded. Fear grips this country like a 6 year old holding on for dear life as his mother drops him off on 1st day of kindergarten.
Comment: OBAMA is both black and white. Hillary vs. any Republican candidate would be very divisive and could cause the democrats to lose the WHITE HOUSE. OBAMA is a SURE win on the national level against any Republican candidate. All polls support this fact. If Latino's feel that Hillary could lose nationally they might cast their vote for OBAMA. NO ONE wants another republican in power at this juncture in AMERICAN HISTORY.
Caroline Kennedy has endorsed OBAMA. She is is good judge of character. Hopefully her uncle and Mr. Gore follow suit.
OBAMA needs to gain ground with the LATINO vote if he wants to win.
Comment: Yeah, that's why he sucked up to Ted Kennedy. However, everyone knows no one cares what Ted Kennedy has to say. As for Caroline Kennedy, what the he*** does anyone care what she says... She should just go back to selling off her "so called" legacy to the public.
Comment: Barak Obama is both white and black. That is his X factor. Unfortunately, it looks as though Latino's will vote for Hillary three to one.
The only way OBAMA can gain ground in the Latino community is through advertising. He needs to participate in a commercial which emphasizes UNITY. This commercial will emphasize his MOM in the beginning. Then it will show five couples, one Asian, Indian, Black, Latino and White. These couples should be crowded around OBAMA thanking him for bringing them together and expressing their trust in his health care, education and justice system reform plans. These issue bring the LATINO and AFRICAN AMERICANS TOGETHER. AT the end a simple statement,
TOGETHER WE CAN CONQUER ANY OBSTACLE AND ACHIEVE ANY SOLUTION (eddiewhere2008) . This commercial should be blitzed across T.V. screens in America for the next couple of weeks. IN EVERY STATE OBAMA campaigns in, he should organize marches of unity which inlude all RACES and AGES. THE THEME should be UNITY -a solid solution to the DIVISIVE ISSUES WHICH CAUSE RACIAL TENSION. A COMMERCIAL should be made of these MARCHES. IT'S MAIN MESSAGE WILL BE THAT OBAMA CAN BRING ALL RACES ALL AGES TOGETHER to fix racial divisions. He has to show America how he can UNITE the NATION. I think every parent enjoys watching their child work with others to find solution to problems.
IF enough Latino's see this commercial and understand the message of unity they might give OBAMA a chance. Do not forget pictures are worth a thousand words and in this case, these commercials will be worth thousands of votes. Latino's feel they can economically improve their future with HILLARY's plan.
IT will be extremely diffiult for Obama to garner this vote unless he can show his economic plan will benefit the Latino community more than Hillary's. HILLARY IS being specific about the ramifications of her agenda on the Latino community. OBAMA has not been specific enough. The Latino's have no idea what OBAMA's economic plan is and how it affects them.

Comment: I have a comment about the Rezko thing. I'm not from Illinois but I've known about the Rezko thing for over a year. Why are we only hearing about it now from Hillary? It's not as if she pulls her punches after all. The truth is she got desperate. Plain and simple.
Comment: Yeah, I thought I was going to vote for Clinton but, now I am having serious doubts. Seeing the way President Clinton is campaigning anyone would think he is the one running for president. I think his actions will ultimately sabotage Hillary's chance to the White House. Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't see any of the other candidates spouses campaigning. President Clinton is making it seem like he and Hillary are both running for the White House.
Comment: Obama's comment about creating a green engine that can drive growth for many years to come definitely scores points with me. Unlike any Republican, unlike the economic gurus that work for Newsweek, Obama recognizes the multi-trillion dollar potential in green technology. I will admit I'm biased. I have some stock in solar energy companies, but so does Cal-STRS. Nevertheless, in addition to retire California school teachers, green technology and renewable energy has the potential to bring properity to billlions of people throughout the world. (It will also put terrorists like al-Qaeda, out of business once and for all.) Obama represents a vision of the future that only John Edwards can match

Comment: For Democrats, it's generally considered a gamble to go with the more 'inspiring' candidate (e.g. Obama), as opposed to the traditional Washington insider (e.g. Clinton). This election seems to be unique in that the Democrats would be taking a much bigger risk by going with the establishment candidate. Hillary Clinton, if she receives the nomination, would go into the general election with the highest negative ratings of any presidential candidate in the history of scientific polling. It's a telling sign of ego that the Clintons just refuse to let go, even for the sake of their party. In any case, this situation stirs mixed feelings among Republicans, in that they would much prefer an Obama presidency than a Hillary White House, even though the latter is much closer to their
