Comment: The inherently criminal Americans are the only criminals who have used nukes and other weapons of mass destruction (like banned chemical and biological weapons) against innocent civilians). They now fear they may now have to pay through their nose and in the same coin. Their fear is justified!

Comment: Musharaf is an Indian agents and working in accordance with their objectives and wishes. His last 8 years rule depicts his inner anti Pakistan sentiments and making the country situations worst just in accordance with Indians objectives
The Kargil war were planned for to exclude the doubt on Musharaf as Indian agents for subsequent take over and strategies
In kargil Musharaf make his own Army defeated and casualties were more than 65 wars
Musharaf after take over make and run this country with that objective and exercised all that actions which India wanted
The Pakistani Muslims often raised and protest against Babri Mosque and self bomb and destroy Red Mosque to make a ground for India to exercise the like situations where they want to do so.
Further Pakistan often protest against Indian forces combating in Kashmir against terrorist now self exercised such fighting against their own people to make India free from such protest
When India exercised such fighting Pakistan protest to Human Rights violations but now what Pakistan will respond as they self violate

DURING an interview by the BBC Television, President Musharraf said that the day he felt he had become so unpopular that the Pakistanis no longer wanted him in power, he would quit (Jan 24).

However, when asked how it would be determined that he was no longer required, he could not give any clear-cut reply and conveniently proposed that there was no other way except for him to conclude this himself.
Apart from that, when his attention was drawn to the recent call by many former services chiefs and generals for him to step down, he said that these were the people who write newspaper articles ??? as if that is an unwise act. He must know that people like Tony Blair, Henry Kissinger and other senior diplomats and officials have also done that when they found it necessary, many of which have even appeared in Dawn, Mr Musharraf, too, had once or twice tried his hand at writing articles. So, what???s wrong with that?

He then went on to say that these critics consist of two types of people: those whom he had removed and those who couldn???t get anything from him (meaning any posts or favours).
And, what about the other services chiefs of the navy and the air force, the many judges (why were all 60 of them removed?), including former chief justices, the 23 senior ex- diplomats and prominent members of civil society, who want him to go, most of whom do not fit his description?

Also, the numerous American and British legislators and even the prime minister of Canada, who wanted him to resign?

The noted American expert on South Asia, Stephen Cohen, had written some weeks back that Mr Musharraf is either suicidal or out of touch with the situation. The US think tank, ???Cato Institute,??? has compared him to the former Shah of Iran and advised Washington to stop supporting this ???Shah of Pakistan??? otherwise the consequences will be as disastrous for the US and Pakistan as they were in the ca

Comment: Dr. Richard Trickle: Why the Americans are so racist? You remember 3000 deaths (result of extremely abominable acts) but forget the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi kids who died during sanctions, thousands of palestinians deaths, millions killed in Vietnam and Cambodia. To people like you, only American and jew lives matter and the rest of the world is just second grade. We are determine to kick out Americans forces out of muslim lands and we will scucceed. Israeli zionists supported by Bush, big oil money and Pentagon are the worst terrorists in the world

Comment: Musharaf is the only evil of Pakistan and of World too he reached the country where any thing can happend any time.
His interview with Newsweek where he claim that no one snatched a gun from the arm forces but on other hand arms full two vehicle were under controle of terrorist
Second the Britian wanted Rashid Rauf were easily escaped from the police
How he can justified these events along with more than 200 armed personal kidnaping

Any one from the like circumstances conclude that the rit of the Musharaf regime is Nil

He often used a word unfortunatly this happend but this unfortunity will continue till one day he announced that the Nuke is under controle of terrorist

Musharaf make this country worst and no institutions he left in normal but destroy and now like Judges he insult the ex Arm Generals that they were society rejected and have no respects in the public

The World to realized the situations in Pakistan to kick Musharaf before the public reached to the extreme to support the extremist to take controle of the country

Now the libral and open minded people of Pakistan are in circumstances to provide support to the extremist to take controle
These ex Arm Generals have there own influnce and a danger of Army clash between (Pro and Anti ) which lead the country to worst disaster

The country disaster are not in the world favour and in such disaster any thing worst should be expected

The US must to realize the situations to kick Musharaf before it late

The US will be respponsible for the like circumstances of disaster as they support Musharaf

And this disaster ruined the world peace as well

Comment: Pakistan's nuclear arsenal is very safe from the insurgents because even if they managed to take hold of the nuclear bomb, they do not the means to shoot the targets. Moreover they don't even know which button to push! Paksitan has only one bloody nuclear bomb, why so much fuss about it? The US is just pretending to be over-excited about the whole matter, as if the Pakistanis are mere morons incharge of a nuclear bomb. The US is creating all these for show and nothing else! To create fear in its own citizens.

    • Posted By: Art2718 @ 01/28/2008 03:14:47

Comment: They have 40-50 nukes. The risk is smuggling of nuclear bombs by jihadi military generals, not capture of bombs by terrorists.

  • Posted By: Laila @ 01/28/2008 2:57:11 AM

Comment: Well to hell with your conclusion. It is the Bush administration that is the plague of the world and which has imposed Musharraf on us. We want to get rid of both so we can get rid of their hidden allies - the mullahs - so that ordinary Pakistanis can live a normal and peaceful existence and determine their own future according to established democratic norms

  • Posted By: Art2718 @ 01/28/2008 2:48:40 AM

Comment: My final comment: Pakistan will not be a respectable country worthy of nukes until it does things like remove the name "The Islamic Republic of Pakistan", until it does not impose the death penalty on people who criticize the Koran, until it allows women who have been raped to file a case without producing FOUR MALE WITNESSES, until it allows A.Q. Khan to be questioned in public, until it publishes the novel of Salman Rushdie, etc. etc. Your Harvard education can say nothing about these things. They were all the decisions of popularly elected leaders. Pakistan is the biggest moral cancer in the world community today, and although the U.S. certainly played a role in its current status, the problems started with Jinnah, well before the U.S. got involved.

Comment: Pakistan nucleur weapons could be better safeguarded if their custody is placed in the hands of an elected civilian government instead of a group of officers accountable to no one.In view of the grave problems faced by Pakistan at home does it really need atomic weapons and a huge army?Peace with neighbours is essential for Pakistan now so that it can concentrate in solving the grave domestic problems. The huge defence budget is a strain on the economy and needs to be reduced so that funds could be diverted for progress and development.Likewise the nucleur weapons shouls also be dismantled.

Comment: No sir, I have traveled widely through the villages and small cities of the muslim world. Poverty, injustice and lack of democratic rights are the top most concerns. Most media people, including Newsweek and Time correspondents, look for sensantional stories far removed from realities. A top leader of the Palestinian movement was George Habbash (who died recently) and was a christian. Yasser Arafat was a socialist. Bhutto was a liberal. The US cultivated the so-called fundamentalists so that they could counter the secular leaders in the muslim world. Even then, in fair and free elections, they will wiped out but the US does not want to see nationalist secular regimes in these countries because they won't toe its line. Why should they get involved in big power plays and get crushed. They would rather follow India's example and puruse their own national interests in a pragmatic manner.

  • Posted By: Art2718 @ 01/28/2008 2:25:20 AM

Comment: You are the one who said that 20% of Pakistanis vote for non-secular parties.

  • Posted By: Laila @ 01/28/2008 2:23:30 AM

Comment: Do not apologize for murder... killer is a killer be it a communist or a neocon. Again. it does not matter who wants to come to the US. We are talking about policy and not individuals not ordinary Americans or Pakistanis. You seem to be obsessed with Muslims......... like Hitler was jews.

    • Posted By: Dr. Richard Trickle @ 01/28/2008 09:10:18

Comment: Jews were not wearing suicide vests nor detonating improvised vehicle bombs, nor flying civilian jetliners into office highrises - but you know what~ Muslims do. While they may be the minority of a vast religion, a vast remaining percentage of muslims fail to speak out and condemn the violence, condemn the individuals committing the violence, nor condemn the practice of violence. The muslim community's silence on these issues gives the appearance they they are granting tacit approval to these forms of violence. No correlation or logic in your statement about Hitler's obsession with the Jews. The world has reasonable justification to be concerned about muslims.

  • Posted By: Laila @ 01/28/2008 2:13:33 AM

Comment: Again you have no idea of what you are talking about. 32 million Pakistanis support terrorism? What non-sense? Where do you get these numbers? Out of neocons propoganda machine? Do you have any idea about Osama? He was a buddy of Prince Turki Al Faisal. the head of Saudi intelligence. He was cultivated by Gen. Akthar Rehman, the Pakistani ISI chief... who got $600 million in funding from the CIA.. Please stop ranting and read history!

    • Posted By: Art2718 @ 01/28/2008 02:23:01

Comment: It doesn't now matter who created Osama. The fact is that Osama is today a great Pakistani hero (as is A.Q. Khan), and that is why Musharraf can't do anything against them.

    • Posted By: Art2718 @ 01/28/2008 02:20:44

Comment: I have already agreed with you that Osama was created and strengthened by the U.S., as was Saddam, the Shah, etc. But these facts don't address the key problem of this century, that Islam itself feels threatened. Your Harvard education is probably what is giving you an unclear picture of the Muslim world, since you interact with the educated elite, most of whom ignore the Koran, etc. (but will not publicly admit it).

  • Posted By: Laila @ 01/28/2008 2:08:54 AM

Comment: I do not need to go to a website to learn about these issues. I went to Harvard, have spent 55 years of my life ivided equally between the West and the Orient.. The root cause is dictatorships in the muslim countries, unashamedly supported by the US. I have a far more intimate and direct knowledge about what has happend in Pakistan and Afghanistan than any of the writers you mention who have never been there.

  • Posted By: Laila @ 01/28/2008 1:59:41 AM

Comment: You have no idea how abusrd we find the arguments of idiots like Bush and neocons. Individuals do not matter , we are discussing political power and national trends. You really need to take a course. It is Bush who is the most danerous man in the world.. it is the US that has killed most humans in the 20th century. It is Kissinger who needs to be tried for mass murder and war crimes in Vietnam

    • Posted By: Art2718 @ 01/28/2008 02:14:55

Comment: Wrong: the biggest killers of the 20th century were Stalin (20-30 million), Mao (20 million), and Hitler (6-8 million). The U.S. liberated most of the world from those tyrants. You are correct that the U.S. made many mistakes, including Vietnam, the Shah of Iran, and its various puppet dictators. The overall good the U.S. did far exceeds the harm, just as the overall good the British did for India far exceeds the harm. Everybody, including Pakistanis, wants to come to the U.S. I wish the U.S. would stop importing likely terrorists, as second generation Pakistanis tend to be (e.g. in Spain, UK, etc.)

  • Posted By: Laila @ 01/28/2008 1:56:30 AM

Comment: OK this is sheer playing mathematics... you are assuming all the right wingers here just 'militants' . You miss the point... most of the 'extremists here are CIA puppets whose job is to create justification for US intervention.. Please for GOD's sake... read up the history

    • Posted By: Art2718 @ 01/28/2008 02:07:45

Comment: The CIA must be an amazingly powerful organization if it can get 32 million Pakistanis to support terrorism! You are no longer making any sense. I don't know what magic the CIA must be using to create puppets in Pakistani villages, when the American army would have to kill those same puppets when they enter Afghan territory. You have lost all rationality. It is very difficult for Muslims to look at themselves. Only a few are so courageous.

  • Posted By: Art2718 @ 01/28/2008 1:56:29 AM

Comment: I recommend to Laila that you visit sites like answering-islam.org, thereligionofpeace.com and faithfreedom.org to learn about Islam. Read the books of Robert Spencer. LIsten to Wafa Sultan on YouTube.com. See if you can find a lie anywhere in what these people are saying about Islam. Return with some rational facts instead of attack labels. The world certainly cannot avoid danger when the rigid mindset of a billion people feels threatened. Getting the U.S. out of the mid-East will only increase the danger, and those mid-East leaders know it.

  • Posted By: Laila @ 01/28/2008 1:40:15 AM

Comment: Given the facts about the elections results in Pakistan for the past 60 years, your comments can only be characterised as 'racist' and based on misconceptions or prejudice. The gross generalizations are not supported by realities on the ground... the extremists (most of them created and funded by the CIA or its puppets) do not represent mainstream muslims in Pakistan. Please take a deep breath and do some clear thinking. Saudi Royal family or Musharraf or Osama do not represent muslims.... they have one common denominator... they all are or were associated with Bush or the CIA.

  • Posted By: Laila @ 01/28/2008 1:25:27 AM

Comment: What extremism? In Pakistan, whenever people were allowed to exercise their right to vote, more than 80% voted for secular or mainstream parties firmly rejecting the religious parties. Only the US supported the military dictators who supported the fundamentalists. This is matter of record. Why streotype Pakistanis who have always rejected Muslim fundamentalists/extremists in elections. The entire argument that the muslim mind is somewhow violent and is a danger to the world is sheer nonsense given that an overwhelming majority of the second largest muslim country in the world has ALWAYS voted against the Islamists and religious parties

    • Posted By: Art2718 @ 01/28/2008 01:42:30

Comment: 20% of 160 million people is 32 million insane people, It took less than 20 insane people to bring down the World Trade Center. If 20% of the Muslim population is insane (and scientific polls suggest that this figure is about right for the proportion that support terrorists), that is 200 million insane people. I don't think you realize how absurd your arguments, and similar arguments by Muslims, sound to rational people. The truly great Muslims of the world are Salman Rushdie, Wafa Sultan, Ibn Warraq, Ayaan Hirsi Ali., etc. (Look them up on the web.) These are extraordinarily courageous human beings who are living under death threats around the world for having the integrity to speak the truth about Islam. They are the future of the Muslim world, but I hope that comes without millions dead.

  • Posted By: Laila @ 01/28/2008 1:15:22 AM

Comment: Are you a Hindu suffering from Pakistan phobia. The solution is simple. The US should get out the Muslim world. This is only fuelling anger and the backlash will destablize the whole world. There is no insanity in the mideast.. it is just anger against US puppets who rule most the mideast. Stop supporting the tyrants and it will become more like other parts of the world in due course of time. Keep supporting the likes of Shah of Iran and Musharraf and the whole region would turn into another Iran (I hope not). Wisdom and farsightedness and not idiots and novices like Bush and Condi Rice are needed to have right policies which do not breed hatred, anger and irrational responses.

    • Posted By: Art2718 @ 01/28/2008 01:34:52

Comment: The "due course of time" you are talking about would probably be 200 years with many tens of millions killed in the process. No Muslim country can be allowed to have WMD. Muslims are the only people who would rather die than have their point of view demolished. (I actually have a video of a Pakistani military officer saying that he has the stronger army because his soldiers want to die for Allah.) People who want to die for Allah cannot be deterred from violence (like the Russians or the Chinese can be deterred) by retaliation. The only option is to control them until their minds become clear.

    • Posted By: Art2718 @ 01/28/2008 01:27:05

Comment: "Pakistan phobia" is a label like "Islamophobia," "Muslim haters," "racists", etc. that Muslims use when they run out of facts. The facts are clearly printed in the Koran, Hadith, and Sirah. Osama, Zawahiri, etc. are extremely devout Muslims (Osama has sacrificed hundreds of millions of his own dollars for his cause), which is why they can inspire thousands around the world to kill themselves for Allah, even though they sit in hiding, in some village or cave. The problem is in the Muslim mind, and nowhere else. American stupidity has merely aggravated that infected mind.

Comment: How the World community rely on these statements as Musharaf himself unreliable person
He is not sincere with his country and how he will sincere with the world
Why the Musharaf Regime not allow the world invetigator to invetigate the actual culprit of the Urinium smugling
How he blamed on A.Q.Khan the he is reponsible for the said smugling can any one person with out the help of others can do the like
Who introduce A.Q.Khan with Korea or Iran
He is scientist not a deplomate and how he bargain with these countries
All these are doubtfull and the regime it self not sure how to protect
Can any one gurranty that the forces on guarding the Nuke is reliable and who is the ultimate responsibility
The current uncertain situations are mounting and even the libral are totally against the regime of Musharaf

The libral opponents of the Musharaf regime are compelled to guide the extremist how to attacks

Many of the lawers community determined to participate and contact with the extremist to attacks where and when
Musharaf make the public of the country so anti that any libral can joined the terrorist for the desired

The same situations are also in arm forces and in presence of Musharaf the most dangerious incidents will happend in near future

Musharaf for the sake of power can do any thing and those who were against him can do also any things to the extreme

This is very terrible situations in the country and any thing can happen due to these extreme sentiments

  • Posted By: Laila @ 01/28/2008 1:04:45 AM

Comment: Agains, you are peddling just propoganda. Saddam was supplied chemicals weapons to be used against Iran. He did NOT WMD..... the NIE/CIA lied about it merely to create a justification. Most of the other Muslim countries are ruled by autocrats who are US puppets and hence the US shares part of the blame for misgovernance. Please think clearly. Muslim democracies with accountable governments will have free market economies and better governance. It is US puppets like Musharraf and Osama (wasn't he a CIA/Saudi agent) who kill with American supplied weapons.

    • Posted By: Art2718 @ 01/28/2008 01:15:51

Comment: You are absolutely correct that the U.S. created and strengthened most of the demons (e.g. Saddam and Osama and Shah of Iran) of the mid-East, and the U.S. is now paying a heavy price for that stupidity. That stupidity by the U.S. was entirely due (in my judgment) to the failure of Carter, Reagan, Bush 41, and Clinton to read the Koran, the Hadith, and the Sirah, and to take a simple poll of how much these things control the Muslim mind. But I think that the current struggle was unavoidable because of the severe threat that Islam faces.

  • Posted By: Laila @ 01/28/2008 12:59:38 AM

Comment: You have no idea about the economics. Read Alan Greenspan's "the age of Turbulence" or Jeff Sachs article in the Guardian about ths history of US foreign policy since FDR, or George Soros's "the Age of Fallibility" . It was due to blunders that the cost exceeded the benefits. The supply line is crucial, there is no price to something that can not be replaced in a short span of time. Do some homework. Read Kissinger instead of ranrting like an illinformed freshman. Fareed Zakaria is not the only who went to Harvard.

  • Posted By: Laila @ 01/28/2008 12:39:44 AM

Comment: Two wrongs do not make a right. The solution is to stop this madness and quest for hegemony through naked force. Let's just talk about the 20th century. It is silly to recount the entire human history to justify the madness of an idiot called 'George Bush'. Get a JFK or a Lincoln, most Muslims would welcome an enlightened US leader.

    • Posted By: Art2718 @ 01/28/2008 01:07:44

Comment: Bush certainly did some stupid things, but it was not madness. The truly insane are people like Ahmadinejad who claims that the holocaust did not happen, Nawaz Sharif who signed Sharia into law, Benazir Bhutto who traded nukes for missiles while denying any government knowledge of A. Q. Khan's smuggling, Musharraf who claims to be fighting terror (and is actually doing so half-heartedly) but has the ISI protecting Bin Laden. Insanity is a population like Pakistan where the name Osama is the most popular name for a newborn boy, because Osama is considered a great hero; where the great national hero A. Q. Khan was a thief and a smuggler who is now under house arrest, where the founder Jinnah was the first terrorist who used terror to create an Islamic homeland, now recognized to be the most dangerous country in the world (according to Newsweek). Notice how much insanity is in the region from the mid-East to Pakistan.

  • Posted By: Laila @ 01/28/2008 12:35:52 AM

Comment: The cultural factors are there. Irish bombed English cities. A catholic was responsible for Oklohama bombing, Hitler, a self-professed christian killed hundreds of thousands of innocent jews but the imperialist powers made hapless Palestinians suffer for European crimes. The current Iraq and Afghanistan wars are NOT about religion. They are purely about the control of world's oil resources. Since they happen to be in Muslim countries, misinfomred tend to confuse the issue with religion.

  • Posted By: Laila @ 01/28/2008 12:28:20 AM

Comment: The point is simple. It wants to hegemonize Iraq and Iran because they are the two of the largest producers of oil. It wants to control Pakistan and Afghanistan because it gives it access to the oil rich Central Asia and tightens the circle around Iran. Unfortunately, 70% of the World's oil reserves are in this region. The educated muslims see through this and are not interested in Cheney's war on terror. Pakistan's weapons are safe and Pakistan's militants (a minority) are a creation of CIA since 1979 and play into the hands of CIA's local collaborators (Pakistan's ISI) to create justification for more US intervention. The rest is just fiction.

    • Posted By: Art2718 @ 01/28/2008 00:52:03

Comment: Yours is the standard argument, which is even repeated in the U.S. It is nonsense, since the cost of the war far exceeds any economic benefit from greater access to oil. Oil prices have gone way up. Oil cannot flow freely through regions of turmoil, and Bush is not so stupid that he can't see that. The reason that the U.S. is in all these places is because they are now, and will be in the future, the likely source of the next nuclear exchange with many millions killed. Europe and Russia should join the U.S., and should do so soon. Muslims who are passionate about their religion know that their 1400 year old attitudes cannot survive very long, and they refuse to give up without a major fight. But you are absolutely correct to the extent that I think U.S. forces have should have no role in being policemen over Muslims who want to kill other Muslims, as is now going on in Iraq. The ONLY legitimate role of Western powers in Muslim countries is to defang the Muslim countries of major weapons, and to eliminate their terror training bases.

  • Posted By: Laila @ 01/28/2008 12:20:33 AM

Comment: The US and Zionists are just after Pakistan because it is the only nuclear armed Muslim country. The US has killed millions beginning from Hiroshima to Vietnam and Cambodia to the gulf war (through Saddam) and now in Iraq not to mention half of million children who died as a result of sanctions against Iraq. But to avenge the death of about 3000 Americans, it wants to destroy Muslim countries. The US must get out of Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan, otherwise it will be by the people as it was in Vietnam

    • Posted By: Art2718 @ 01/28/2008 00:34:45

Comment: Muslims have killed far more other Muslims than have been killed by the U.S. This does not even include the killing of 50 million Hindus by Muslims over 500 years, or the killing of Christians by the millions. The Koran, the Hadith, and the Sirah (which most educated Muslims do not know well) make it completely undeniable that the highest duty of a true Muslim is to kill the unbelievers. Read the books of Robert Spencer or Ibn Warraq.

  • Posted By: Kaelinda @ 01/27/2008 7:26:20 PM

Comment: What everyone seems to forget is that the Jihadis fear and hate America. Not because of its freedoms and liberties (because we're fast losing those) but because of America's foreign policy. America is the only country in the world to stand steadfastly beside Israel - Britain will stand with Israel if America insists. THAT is what makes America such a pariah among the Muslim countries. America doesn't believe that an entire people has to be obliterated (and we didn't obliterate an entire people in Japan, either) in order for peace to prevail. Musharraf has threatened to bring the west to its knees; Bin Laden has promised to bankrupt America; Iran and the Palestinians have promised to obliterate Israel and eliminate all Jews from the face of the earth. America plays favorites with Israel, and the Muslims are mighty, mighty jealous of that.

    • Posted By: Art2718 @ 01/28/2008 00:30:04

Comment: Cont'd from previous: The real reason that Muslims hate America is that with American (and European) influence, there is no chance that the fanaticism of the Koran and its prophet will last more than a hundred years more. Read the recent book entitled Deception: Pakistan ... about Pakistani nuclear shenanigans. Visit sites like answering-islam.org, thereligionofpeace.com and faithfreedom.org. Watch Wafa Sultan (rated by Time magazine as one of the 100 most influential people) on YouTube.com, one of the most courageous and honest people to come out of the Islamic culture in recent times, explaining why she is an ex-Muslim.

    • Posted By: Art2718 @ 01/28/2008 00:21:09

Comment: I agree that Muslims' hatred of America has been intensified by American foreign policy. But that hardly explains very much of it. The Jews did not terrorize Germans after 6 million Jews were exterminated; the Tibetans have not terrorized the Chinese after the Chinese killed 20% of their population, destroyed practically all of their temples, anally raped their Buddhist nuns with broomsticks, tortured their monks, etc.; the Chinese have not terrorized the Japanese after the Japanese destroyed entire cities, took Chinese women as forced prostitutes, etc. Certainly American foreign policy does not match these atrocities. (cont'd)

Comment: The west will be brought to its knees: Musharraf.

That shows how much concerned the poor guy is about west being affected by terrosim and the seriousness of terrorism, that is in no way an admission that Pakistans nukes will fall into terrorist hands. Infact poeple who think that this is nuclear blackmailing, greatly mistrust there good friend and are genuinely opposed to Pakistan's nuclear arsenal for no reason.

  • Posted By: gardenrose1 @ 01/27/2008 1:31:03 AM

Comment: Is kamikaze suicide bombing more fanatic than using kamikaze as a pretext to killing hundereds of millions of innocent humans? instead of shedding blood of a few thousand American and allied troops Truman decided to sacrifice hundreds of thousands of innocent people to save the world from a few retards incharge of Japan, no sane person can justify the bararic killings of Truman. Indeed this must have been the biggest cold blooded murder of innocent poepel in the history of mankind.

Their is plenty of suufering in the world today. The world should use it intellegence and might to eradicate things like, rel9igious intolerance, stupid wars, disease, and racism from the world rather than make a mountain out of a mole hill of Pakistan.

    • Posted By: Art2718 @ 01/27/2008 03:24:45

Comment: You don't know history. A few thousand Allied troops couldn't have possibly defeated Japan. They were willing to die to the last man in glory of their emperor (just like jihadis in glory of Allah). Truman estimated correctly that many more would have been killed without the nuke than with the nuke, because a full-scale invasion of Japan would have been needed. Explain why it took two nukes.

Comment: Remember the blackmail threat by Musharraf reported by the BBC in Sept. 2006 (look it up on Google): "the West will be brought to its knees!" That very threat is an admission by Musharraf that Pakistani nukes are in a volatile position, no matter how much he tries to deny it now.

Comment: Cont'd from previous: Amercians must accept the difficult fact that every single person in the Pakistani military-political complex is a double-talking deceiver, and many are so rabid with jihad that they pose a significant risk. The only difference amongst them is that some appear in well-dressed suits, talk politely and act sophisticated (to get U.S. dollars), while others are unkempt and practically foaming at the mouth.

    Comment: Here is the proof that Mr. Kidwai is lying: A few years ago, A. Q. Khan smuggled nuclear technology in huge C-130 cargo planes, and the Pakistani military claimed they had no knowledge of it. If they are so clueless they can't detect giant military planes taking off with sensitive machines and materials, how likely is it that they can account for nuclear material "to the last gram"?     Comment: Cont'd from previous: Remember that Musharraf was originally a jihadi who invaded Kargil with fellow jihadis; Sharif signed Sharia Law for Pakistan; Benazir traded nukes for missiles with N Korea and infiltrated Kashmir with jihadis; A. Q. Khan was a jihadi. The U.S., Europe, and Russia should now be actively discussing joint emergency measures to seize control of Pakistani nukes in case of emergency.;

Comment: The key concern that everybody seems to be ignoring, including Fareed Zakaria in his articles, is not some bearded peasants with turbans and AK-47s taking over Pakistani nukes. The main issue is whether one or a few jihad-crazed Pakistani military personnel (of which there are many such Generals) could smuggle a nuke or smuggle enough fissile material to cause major damage to NYC, Washington, or LA. Comment: What a rascist and biased view the US and her cohorts have over Pakistan's nuclear arsenal. The world should look at there record of proliferation of nukes to Israel, UK and other countries and also the use of inhuman nukes on Japan. It is so sad that the very poeple who are showing concern over Pakistan are the ones who have had no remorse over the use of such weapons on civilian population.

      SAD,

Comment: Israel has merely tried to survive with a few million Jews surrounded by hundreds of millions of Arabs who were fanatically determined for decades to destroy it, as Iran still publicly declares it will do. (By the way, I am not Jewish; I just know history.)

Comment: Israel and Pakistan are not comparable. Israel has not committed genocide of millions in Bangladesh, sent jihadis to Kashmir resulting in 80,000 deaths, created the Taliban, protected Bin Laden, exported terror all over the world from the UK to Spain to SE Asia, smuggled nuclear assets to insane places like Iran and N Korea, sent second generation Muslims to London shouting "Butcher those who insult the prophet!" etc. etc. Pakistan and only Pakistan does these things.

Comment: Japan was fanatic during WW II (sending Kamikaze pilots), similar to jihadis today (sending suicide bombers). That is why it took two nukes to force Japan to surrender. If the Japanese had not been made crazy in obedience to their Emperor (like many today giving up their life for Allah, Koran, and Muhammad), one nuke or no nukes may have sufficed.
