Verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry true... go hilly.. go hilly..
Verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry true... go hilly.. go hilly..
Before the Game began, you agree to abide by certain rules. But in the middle of game, you find the rules you agreed to are costing your winning chances. So, you change your mind and dispute the rules. Claim that the rules you originally agreed to is no longer fair. You want them changed.
Oh, Hillary. When will you ever change? It seems that it is not the rule (DNC not counting Michigan and Florida) that needs to change, it is you and your husband that need to dispappear from the national politics.
The Clintons are going for 50+1 politics, aka Rovian politics.
This country will be as torn apart with the Clintons in the Whitehouse as we were with Bush in WH.
Isn't it enough with Bush for 8 years? Do we want to extend 'divide and conquer' politics for another 4 years?
IF Hillary ever becomes President, THEN Bill will be more powerful than Hillary and her VP combined. Bill will have all the power in the world, yet no accountability. Bill doesn't have to worry about re-election, and Bill will do whatever he desires. Just look at what he is doing now in the Campaign. He is just uncontrollable. Bill is using Rovian politics in the Democratic party. This is sad. This is tragedy.
Are the Clintons running mates or room mates. ?
If you confuse your roommate for runningmate, you are bound to fail.
Clintons learned from Swiftboaters and from Karl Rove. The voters learned a painful lesson in 2004; if you vote with Swiftboaters, if you vote from Bush's fear-politics, then you are stuck with the moron for four years and your life suffers. A mistake just too great , a mistake not to forget, and a mistake not to repeat.
Divisive Forces of American Politics = Bush = The Clintons.
The Clintons are the continuation of Bush's 8 years and the continuation of slickwilly politics.
And they can't do that to Hillary?
Obama polls 55%; 55% of the electorate is black; and his crowd chants "Race doesn't matter?" Why then did 81% of blacks vote for Obama?
The fact is if this guy were (all) white he would have trailed Kucinich in these primaries. He's been in Congress all of three years (spending the last one on the presidential trail) and couldn't decide how to vote 135 times during eight years in the state legislature. His whole campaign is nothing but sweet homilies signifying nothing. But, of course, that only energizes the fawning media elites like Campo-Flores, who denounce as a racist anyone who would dare question Obama's choice of tie.
Anybody seen Mark Halperin lately? Time's political editor? He blew the whistle on the media elite's free pass to Obama two weeks ago and hasn't been heard from since.
I agree with your comments. Mark isn't the only one to go missing. There are a couple cable TV commentators (usually guests) that I have not seen since they spoke up on the very samesubject, but I do not know their names.
I am particularly disappointed in Keith Oberman he's coming off as a real jerk lately. Like someone his place a control chip in his head. It is disgusting.
MSNBC,NBC and Newsweek are all owned by GE, a very large defense contractor. I was a big fan of Keith Olbermann, in the last four weeks he has gone from neutral, to pro Obama and anti Hillary. When you have all of these three news organization all singing in the same tune, you have to think that they are following orders from the top. Obama is the weakest candidate the democrats can field. The republicans will tear him apart.
I love the guy that give bam bam 8 yrs. exp. in state senate (means diddly nationally) when he spent half the time running for US Senate and has been running for Pres. since 4 months after election to the Senate. You must write great resumes. Facts have no business being part of Dems race. Bam bam or Billary ? Thank you Dems. God Bless GW .........PS. wujiman "his perceived lack of specific proposals" is that way because it's FACT. Name one proposal that he has made a sigle accomplishment with. Dude is secretly a cardboard cut out, nothing there.
The experience issue is a sham, if that were the true meassure of what it takes then we should all be voting for Sen. McCain. Simple fact is that many of us are tired of the Bush/Clinton oligarchy and the rancor that it brings, if Mrs Clinton wins out it will mark 24 uninterrupted years of a Bush or Clinton in the White House. That is not good for the country at many different levels, it is time that we have a President that has the capability/capacity to reduce the polariaztion that we are experiencing. Though I admire her personally, I stronly feel that Mrs Clinton because of her history/baggage and temperament is not that person.
Maybe you should watch a replay of the "sugar wouldn't melt in my mouth" suck up interview Hillary gave on Fce the Nation this morning.Talk about PHONY and insincere... she has it down pat. The "my husband loves me" bit was just heart warming. TThat's why he can't keep his hands off other women...because he loves her so much. GET REAL!!!!! She is a disgusting example to women everywhere.
Of course it is advantage Obama. He won 82% black vote. It was good that Hillary did not invest any more time or money in SC. Even if she had Obama would have won SC. Therefore it was best to move on.
Anyway the Democrats will not win SC in the General Election with 60% registered Republicans. Therefore it is just a symbolic victory for Obama and nothing more.
Thank you for your clarity of thought, now I can rest without thinking about all those S.C. voters. If you listen to the cable networks too much you might end up believing Obama can walk on water.
I think maybe you better look at all the polls throughout the state before you decide that the 60% of all registered voters are republicans. Who cares really when the turnout for republicans in the primary was terrible while the Democrats turnout set records. Isn't that enough to tell you something. Let's just see, let's just see. I think the SC people have started using their common sense instead of all the REDNECKS just voting party lines or that person is of color and she's a woman excuses. Also remember this, maybe SC was and still is a republican state, but with all the northerner invading this state, things might just be a changing.
WHAT 35 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE?
The Facts:
Senator Barack Obama
1996-2004 (Illinois State Senator)
2005-2008 (United States Senator)
12 Years of Elected Office Experience
Senator Hillary Clinton
2001-2008 (United States Senator)
7 Years of Elected Office Experience
Voted for the Iraq War.
Voted to give Bush authority to go to war with Iran.
(FYI - George W. Bush had 6 years in office before the presidency)
Barack Obama is more experienced to be President of the United States.
35 - 7 = 28 years of zero elected office experience for Hillary Clinton.
Again, what 35 years of experience is Hillary talking about?
Here are the remaining 28 years -
8 Years (Lawyer)
12 Years (First Lady of Arkansas)
8 Years (First Lady of the U.S.)
28 Years of Zero Elected Office Experience
Since when is 20 years of being a first lady relevant experience for being president?
MSNBC,NBC and newsweek, have for the past three months displayed a shameless media Hillary Clinton bias. I will not offer all the names of their reporters and contributers, except to name Karl Rowe. Now if that don't give you a clue, but they think we are all brain dead. I have twice tried to cancel my Newsweek, but they keep sending it! S.C. has not voted for a democratic president since 1976 and that was Carter from Georgia.
Funny how the Republican commentators are belittling Barrack Obama's experience and focusing on his perceived lack of specific proposals when they have, lemming like, twice voted the most incompetent President into office, who's only "specific" ideas were to lower taxes for the wealthiest Americans while busting the bank pursuing al Qaeda into Iraq while Osama bin Laden laughs at us from his haven in Pakistan.
The only thing better than Bush winning was the Dems not finding anyone who could beat him. We thought all was lost and we would suffer through another Dem debacle. Dems came through then and you are doing it again. Thank you and PLEASE continue to believe that your best choice is a complete novice with no experience in national gov. and has never done anything of importance. PLEASE continue to believe that this choice will win an election that the average American will not have reservations. The same group that elected Bush will not have any problem voting for your guy. News Flash...Republicans maintain the White House. Thank God for the Dems for without you we would actually have to work for it.
go obama hope you live to make a change
Richard, I am so sick of the media kissing Obama's butt. He's going to get KILLED in the general election by the far more experienced John McCain and all that talk of "hope" and "new ideas" (what new ideas, btw? Does anyone ask for specifics with this guy?) will be left by the wayside as he struggles to defend himself against the full-force of the GOP. The media are too in love with this guy to stop the suprulatives and ask the hard questions. This includes you, Richard.
I am an independent. I had my faith for the person I support, ---- Hillary Clinton. And I also made up my mind that if she can???t won I will go to vote John McCain. No matter I couldn???t agree with all his opinion, I believe this man can give his life to his country. Here I want to say some thing about Mr. Clinton. Though I agree he should be back up, I think we need be objective when judge a historical figure. I remembered that a great man Jean J. Rousseau once wrote in his Biography: ???Who can stand in front of me and say: ???I am better than you???!??? I respect Mr. Clinton not since he is perfect, but since he is strong enough had survived all kinds of political attacks. As a man he unfortunately also has God giving weakness, but he showed his tremendous courage and till today he still continually make his contribution to this great country, to the world. Reading his book ???Giving??? you???ll think except President Carter no any other former presidents did as much as he has done. Don???t you remember in our history once for a short time we did pay off all the debt as a country? He and his work have earned respect for this great country! We are Christians; we know how to give people second chances. Hillary Clinton also earned people???s respect in that political attack. She bravely protected her child and family, use her faith and love backed up a man she loves. In fact this is one of the reasons I want to vote for her: The strong family value and the faith for love is the thing we earnestly need in this country now! I can???t understand since when our individualist American started picking up that old ???Implication??? policy?! I still want to judge everybody including Hillary only by his/her OWN behavior, (not skin either.) A woman who has been struggling to do right thing since she was 27 years old definitely deserves us to treat her with fairness and equality, but not with any kind of prejudice. Same logic, the saying of ???the two families??? shouldn???t become the base of our judgment. Inspiration is good, but it is not the all. We need more than that. We need use not only our heart, but also our mind to make decision: Who is good for our country.
