To all those people pointing out that Hillary recieved more votes then McCain. It doesn't matter the Republicans got more votes then the Democrates. The reason is the votes were split more between the Republicans.

BillinGA .... I'm afraid of Ron Paul because the man is an insane extremist that has horrible ideas. And I have done my research. He wants to eliminate the energy department, decrease the involvement of the FDA, remove all involvement with the World Trade organization, and give oil companies free reign to do whatever they want (even the most conservative republicans don't think that's the right course to take in this time of oil dependence and energy crisis). He'd lead us even further in a hole than Bush and he'd never win... so just let it go already and quit trying to change the topic.

Aren't extremists those who advocate unconstitutional federal institutions such as the Dept of Energy, the FDA , Fed Dept of Education? Why are people who expose these types of organizations as unconstitutional called extremists? I think that's backwards. Also, what is the benefit to America being involved in the WTO or World Bank or the IMF? (Answer none.) Plus, it's hard for me to provide a concise answer other than WTO is a corrupt world body run by dictators and thugs who want nothing more than to marginalize the USA to non-superpower status. And hey, whoever said the Federal government was created to oversee and regulate ANYTHING, much less business. The purpose of government is to protect individuals rights...PERIOD. Ron Paul understands this, and does not advocate federal regulation over anything that isn't constitutionally mandated. What part of the Constitution says the federal government should regulate oil companies?

So the government should have no role in foreign trade, policies, regulating fair business or anything for that matter? Sounds to me like you're an anarchist ... so you should just sit home and not participate in any of this in the first place.

I am in full agreement with the comment, below. I am an African American, and do not feel that I fit entirely into either of the major parties. I identify with the faith-based value issues of the Republican Party and the need for a strong military, however, I also strongly identify with the need to be compassionate and to address the needs of the poor, as the Democratic platform does, consistently. The Republicans seem to conveniently ignore the fact that helping the poor is also a faith-based issue; in fact, the scriptures speak to this issue more than many of the other issues that the Republican's focus on. I believe that Obama will be the only president that will have the intellect, empathy, and disposition to bridge differences and form an effective working coalition. Further, he is more electable than Hillary, because, the Clintons will galvanize the Republican electorate. She has too many negatives that jeopardize the Democrats winning the White House, at a time when they should certainly win. Obama is simply the best candidate in the race. Further, he is the one that is energizing the Democratic Party, and expanding it with new voters, independents, and Obama Republicans, another reason, that he can assure the Democratic of winning the White House.

Howard looks at things through Democratic eyes. What he sees is not what I see. To me if a canidate is endoresed by Ted Kennedy they just lost my vote. He's no John Kennedy!

I think we will see that Bill is hurting Hillary (again). People want to see what she's made of.....they already know what they get with Bill. Obama is a fresh, new, young, energetic man who gives people hope. Bill, Hillary and McCain are the same old politics that people are so tired of. Obama's at least making it interesting.

I am saddened as an American voter. My friends, it seems we have put "Making History" ahead of making the country right. I look at both Clinton and Obama as individuals. It does not matter what race or sex they may be.

I see a young bright future for Obama, and I believe he is what this county needs at this time. It seems that the old ways, and the old politics are simply running this county into the ground. It is time for the Kennedy's, Bush's, Clinton's and others of the old generation to move on. Their ways and beliefs are no longer in line with what the public actually wants.

And on a finally request, to those people who are actually going to vote for Clinton simply because she is a woman, or Obama simply because he is black,, please DO NOT VOTE! We need intelligent people making those decisions, not people that want to be part of history.

So do you think NAFTA was good for our economy? They were the begining of the out sourcing craze. I feel sorry for you that you think that they will improve the economy.

By the way, you are absolutly correct about the Congress and Senate running the show. By the way, when Clinton was in office, guess who had majority rule... Republicans.

So please don't say that the Clinton's were responsible for your wealth. As all they could do was yea or nay something.

From what I've heard, the longer Huckabee stays in the race (deservingly or not), the worse for Romney. If that's the case, it seems like a McCain nomination will be inevitable. Can Obama beat McCain? I doubt it. His youthfulness will be magnified in a race against the seasoned senator who is not offensive to many moderate Democrats. Will Hillary give McCain a better race? I think so, however, McCain will still get votes from moderate democrats and the ex-Obama supporters.

She won't do anything for Health Care. What did she do, other than talk about it for the 8 years she actually had a chance? She is preying on the need fore health care reform, seniors will love that, and 4-8 years later, the next guy will be explaining how he will fight for better health care.

Edwards knows Hillary is a fighter and tough enough to fight for his causes. He should go with her and fight for universal care for all.

Dude, are you serious. I love how people count Hillary out and time and time again she shows them wrong. Now that Bill is taking a back seat to Hillary, watch and be amazed. Hillary has what it takes and doesn't need the Kennedy to whore their names out the way they did. I used to respect Carolyn for her silence and know that she is just like her Uncle, the democarts will see right through it. I am not against Obama for his race, I am against him for his arrogance.

I do not understand why the Obama campaign rebuffed Edwards. Even a small share of the "white male" votes would have considerably strenghtened Obama's bid. Now, with Edwards' kind words for Clinton, I suspect many Edwards voters will shift to the Clinton camp.

    M. Haider, if you believe today that the U.S. is not ready for a black president then what makes you believe that "two decades" from now it will be any different. Those voters twenty years from now will be today's children who have been taught by narrow minded folks who still view race as an impediment. The U.S. is ready for an honest, hard working and strong individual who can effectively lead the country through good times and bad. And if that person happens to Democrat or Republican, male or female, black or white or asian, tall or short, then so be it.

What happens to the delegates that John Edwards won? Do they go to another candidate?

Who cares who Ted Kenndy endorses given his liberal agenda, less than inspiriing background and past behavior. Frankly, the media should take a breathe instead of trying to analize every word spoken from politicans which in most instances is too much rethoric without substance.. Give the voters some credit for intelligence, most get it and could stand less from the over hyped media!
