I hope that Edwards endorses Hillary. She could use a boost right now. I also noticed that it hasn't been mentioned that Hillary has the support of Robert Kennedy's children. I like Obama and will support whoever the eventual candidate is, however, right now the media has Obama doing everything short of walking on water!

The media never references the "black vote" or the "femaie vote" when it comes to who's voting in the Republican Primaries? I wander why?

  • Posted By: fayrog @ 01/30/2008 2:03:43 PM

The media has decided to ignore Hillary. You are wrong. Other Kennedys have endorsed her. Maxine Water as well. Fair and balance has been lost again. Wake up.

Every active young person who have a vision for this country should want to be involve in the changing of the guards. This will certainly cement your chance of one day stepping to the podium and state your intention of becoming president.
Choose Obama he is a simple man he is ....YOU.
Our grandparents lay claim and bragging rights to the American Revolution and the Civil Rights Movement, our parents claim Woodstock. Our generation is still yet to stake out our claim. Every once in a life time an opportunity makes itself available for us to make history, and as young people our time is now.

We need to stake our claim as the generation that change the trajectory of American politics. We need to ascertain this as our bragging rights to our children and grandchildren. Some of you may be thinking that this is about Obama, but truly this is bigger than the man himself and we can only hope that he will put together a cadre of leaders who will share our vision and aid us in executing this bloodless revolution. "Without vision a people perish"

Throughout history there has never being a bloodless revolution. This is our opportunity to move America back to the forefront of the line. Let the entire world see that we as a people are truly a pace and trend setter, accomplishing what no other nation has ever done before. Removing the power from the elite group and putting it back in the hands of "we the people" without spilling a single drop of blood.

If you want to make your exit from mother earth without making an impact then discard this message, however, if you choose to let your memories live on, then forward this to all the people in your circle, so that they too can become a member of the bloodless revolution and claim their legacy.
Let the bloodless revolution be your American Legacy.
Let it be known now and forever that you were an active participant in the changing of the guards.

Everywhere you go nowadays the only thing people talk about is whether Obama or Hillary is the right choice to save us from another Republican term. I highly doubt your comment "voters are too busy, distracted, and ideologically confused." It's time for people like the journalists and big name celebrities (political or not) to stop attempting to drive the masses in a direction. It is indeed a great moment in our history as a country that people are "ideologically confused" because that means people are thinking and will only vote after they have heard everything and made a decision for themselves not because the Kennedy family told him to.

Who cares who Ted Kenndy endorses given his liberal agenda, less than inspiriing background and past behavior. Frankly, the media should take a breathe instead of trying to analize every word spoken from politicans which in most instances is too much rethoric without substance.. Give the voters some credit for intelligence, most get it and could stand less from the over hyped media!

/The media is ignoring the endorsements that Hillary Clinto has received from other Kennedys, Maxine Waters and on and on. Don't cut her short. She's still best to run this country.

I think we lost our best shot to have a positive future in this country, what a shame. I have been supporting Edwards this year and in 2004. I think the only person I would feel comfortable voting for now is Obama, and I think that is the way it is going to be for many.

    Anti-Conventional Wisdom. This is one Democrat who is leary of having Barack the Preacher n the White House. If he wins, I will take my delegate seat at the Unity 2008 Convention. Kennedys be damned. (Many already are.}

Oh JaMROCK PERHAPS YOU should look at Mr. Obama's affiliations before you wax eloquent on how he will turn the country around. You really are making him out to sound like the second coming of Christ.

When I see a bigot, I don't really care what his or her political stripes are. David Duke, Cynthia McKinney - Republican or Democrat, makes no difference to me. I would have nothing to do with this person and would be the first one to stand up and condemn him. I would surely expect the same reaction from one who aspires to become President of the United States. Which brings me to Barack Obama who is a proud member of Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago.

Ah, yes...the ultimate, full-time slick dog huckster a.k.a. duplicitous, slight of hand, smirking ambulance chaser...trying to weasel a place as Shrillary's lap dog and a second seat springboard some 8+ years from now? One could not begin to fathom the accelerated downward spiral of this Nation at the hands of such an evil pair. Au pair for USA? Think again.

It is difficult to believe that the country is ready for a half-black president let alone a 100% black first lady. Obama is unlikely to win the nomination and if by some miracle he does, he is sure to loose the election to McCain or whoever the republican nominee is. Hillary will make history by being the first female president of USA which will usher the way for the first black president in a decade or two

I think it appropriate that Ted Kennedy pass the mantle of "Camelot" to a Senator from Chicago. After all, it was the Chicago precincts, manipulated by the Daly crowd in the 1960 election that put Kennedy over the top. H'mmmmm....now 48 years later the Kennedys are paying back Chicago for that gift!

Howard Fineman LOL You butchered Romney continually. Instead of fairly reporting news, you chose who you like and dislike. It doesn't have anything to do with those endorsements. You make each of the candidates into a character. You forget that McCain is actually a mean, nasty jerk. Oh, by the way, he is also liberal. oops forgot that one. no wonder he was your boy.

  • Posted By: amie @ 01/30/2008 1:44:26 PM

I wouldnt be so sure McCain will beat Hillary. I think the dems will turn out for the election. I am very conservative and will NOT vote for McCain in the general election. I need a third party candidate. I refuse to vote for the liberal McCain.

Third Party Candidate, do more research than Wilko did and check out Ron Paul.
