Do you have any hobbies?
My favorite thing to do in my spare time is to write. That's a weird hobby type thing. Everyone is like, "You never stop working." But it's not work to me. I love to write. Mostly writing is one of my hobbies.
Do you only write songs? Or do you do poetry, too?
Yeah, all kinds of cool things. Which is, like, supercool if you're able to do that. I like it.
Would you publish a short story?
I write mostly songs. But I'm writing a book called "The Diary of Priscilla's Coffeehouse," about all the people I met at this coffee shop in Toluca Lake. I don't want to publish it or anything. It's a book for myself.
What kind of people did you meet?
I started playing guitar with one of the guys who's been sitting out there for 10 years or something wild. He taught me some songs. It was really fun, because I was totally incognito. They didn't know who I was.
Do you like to shop?
I love to shop. It's been so fun being on tour, because I've had so many opportunities to go to so many different places. It's been really cool.
What's the best city?
There's a few. Vegas is a good one, Phoenix is a good one, and Florida is a good one. New York is pretty good. The higher-end places, like New York and places like Phoenix, have ginormous malls.
