Comment: Bush Administration is trying. Saw somthing on TV - Maher Soliman, the managing Director for a consumer advocacy group (FHA supported?) formed to prevent predatory lending practices by big lenders. The company NLS (I think) has a web site called borrowerhotline.com . The web site was recently interviewed on a regional News program. This guy is claiming that lenders have never been challenged by borrowers with predatory lending allegations and other charges of lender negligence. So, if I signed the application and don't really earned what I was told to put down on the application - I can charge a lender with being predatory? How does that work?

  Comment: Your caps lock key is stuck. Define rich. I don't consider myself rich, but I got the last tax break that President Bush managed to get past the liberals in Congress. I hope to get another, so I can keep 'my' money, instead of giving it to the government to then dole out to the lazy.,

Comment: I agree!!! Barbra Streisand should be forced to give up her 6 mansions in Southern California to the poor. How dare President Bush finagle the system to allow scum like her the ability to afford 6 mansions? That woman is being allowed to step all over the lower classes! Who would have known those two were in collusion? Heck, I even heard that Ex-Vice President Gore has a 37,000 square foot mansion that President Bush concocted a way for Gore to get rich enough on the backs of the American Taxpayer to be able to afford. AND it only uses 20 times the amount of energy to maintain as the average home. At least Gore is thinking 'green'.

I know... Let's all go ask George Soros what he thinks about this rich problem...

    Comment: Oh, I forgot to mention, Ken Lay (how his name 'was' spelled) is DEAD. Perhaps you'd like to lock up the corpse? Maybe you could get the groundskeeper at the graveyard to let you kick his tombstone a few times.
    
    Also, he did see the inside a courtroom for the last 3 years of his life, and was scheduled for sentencing when he died. His proposed sentence would have had him going to prison for no less than 5 years, as much as 12 if I remember correctly...and paying back hundreds of millions of dollars...

    Comment: LOL, Ken did most of his dirty deeds on President Clintons watch, although he was a crony of President Bush and some of his stock mis-deeds did occur as late as 2001... Obviously you missed my sarcasm which was aimed at showing that Presidents have little to do with what rich (or poor) people do. Presidents have little power when it comes to the economy, other than bluster and begging. Better to complain about the House and the Senate, and about foolish laws that undermine the economy. People are generally as successful as they choose to be. Some are motivated to succeed, some are lazy, some are in the middle. You can choose to hide this evidence from yourself or not. I don't care. As for me, I am in the middle.

Comment: All great world empires that collapsed, fell when the rich got so rich that they no longer cared about the poor or middle class poor. We are repeating history by allowing these ultra rich become so powerful and influential that soon the lower classes will begin to give up serving these rich folks and our economies will collapse.
