Comment: Once again, we're hearing from a 'guru' who's only viewing one facet of the gem of life. There's no disagreement with Ornish on his stance on fruits and vegetables, but to keep pushing himself, and his 'approaches' to now covering everything that's challenging medicine, there's got to be a stopping point. His dietary regimen does not save all who go to his "clinic," by any means. Let's get real, here, Dean!

Comment: I was inspired by Dr. Ornish's books on preventing cardio vascular diseases unfortunately after doing heart bypass operation at 42. I adopted the lifestyle Dr. Ornish proposed by quitting smoking and meat, eating fruits and veg, everyday walking, stretching and yoga. Ten years after, I am still enjoying this healthy lifestyle change and enjoying life. Dr. Ornish is a health guru.
