Comment: I find it very interesting that with all the facts given by both McCain and Romney, they were wrong on many different areas of their own back patting. But because people are easily influenced by the most popular guy on the news that week they still seen to follow them like sick little puppy dogs. I understand that the news hates to give a "fair and balanced" view on anything that cannot benefit them financially, but i find it sickening when they completely ignore people that have their own voice and ideas that arent "main stream". People like Ron Paul will never be elected because there are other people out there that dont see the financial gain in supporting him. They'll even go as far as to cut him off in debates and try to exclude him all together. This is a flashback to the time when Harry Brown ran for office as Libertarian and the two "major" parties did everything in their power to make sure you as a people didnt hear thing that might benefit you as a whole. Ron Paul isnt that radical, he isnt crazy by any means, he just want to give everyone back what they've been loosing for years, your own identity and your ability to make decisions that make sense for you and you alone. As a whole we really need to think about why we spend so much time worrying about what everyone else is doing with their lives and start living their own. However, unless people in the main stream media openly support people like Ron Paul then this country will never be what it is truly supposed to be, free and independent and a mecca for individual civil liberties. So to those closed minded sheeple, keep following the herd and let them lead you nowhere.

Comment: I love how CNN can't even take the 2 seconds required to hyper-link Ron Paul's name to make it convenient to learn more about him (see "Analysis" above). They have given him equally unfair support or exposure in their severely unrestrained, uncontrolled, lobsided debate in Simi Valley, during which Romney was asked 17 questions, McCain 16, and Ron Paul was asked only 5 and cut off and/or interrupted by that CIA intern/actor/news guy. I'd love to find equal attention given to all candidates, and equal time and consideration given to them during a debate, they're not there to model a haircut. I'd prefer to get my news from mainstream sources, but I find that they deliberately avoid candidates who's politics differ from their own. Isn't that the point of a debate? What's different about any of the other candidates, outside of a few percentage points of the budget they'd move around, or spend elsewhere? PS: Nice conservative budget there Bush! YA! 400 BILLION in deficit spending! GO CONSERVATIVE GOP! YOU ROCK (not).

Comment: The biggest distortion here is about McCain being successful in the US Senate as well as Hillary...what have any of these senators accomplished for all of us...a whole lot of bickering & political bullshit...as an American first all senators represent each of us...not just there home states...we need to flush the complete bunch of them...with a healthy economy all social programs, military, & health care can be solved...we need to all wake up & stop letting the frenzied press dictate who the candidates should be...for me as ex military I will vote for a commander-in-chief who has the best economic policies...the military will take care of itself..only one candidate is well qualified & doesn't carry any Washington baggage or favors to fulfill...let's
vote in Mitt Romney our country will suffer with Hillary..Obama or McCain at the helm...I ask again what have each of these Senators accomplished in the past few years for any of us except condemn & critcize each others policies....Hooray........go Mitt Romney!!!!

Comment: Give me a break! It's all about semantics and this fine lining is getting ridiculous. Love the heading for this story, though. Way to catch people's attention---Yeah---another chance at calling Mitt Romney a "liar" or dishonest!!! Well, how about this one-----John McCain states in his recent ad that "While a POW, he was inspired by the Reagan revolution.... and was proud to be a foot soldier for the Reagan administration. Well, Ronald Reagan was not elected to the Presidency until 1980, so he couldn't have inspired Mr. McCain while he was a POW. Further, John McCain did not arrive in Washington, DC until 1983 when he was elected to the House or Representatives. If a "foot soldier" is one who works on one's campaign, then I daresay there are hundreds and thousands of soldiers just like Mr. McCain. So, while we are busily checking the facts for Mr. Romney, let's start looking at some of the other guys too!

Comment: From what I can tell, according to fastcheck.org, nearly every claim made during this debate is false or misleading. Or, fastcheck.org would prefer a democrat gets into office. Everyone has a motive I suppose.

Comment: Don't we have an MBA businessman President sitting in the White House already? How well is that working? Since when does buying companies and dismembering them to enhance share holder value become a job requirement for the Presidency? I'm all for efficient government, but government is not a business. Sound financial management is a good thing for government and business. Being fiscally responsible is an excellent start. Deficits do matter no matter how many times Dick Cheney says they don't. McCain has shown some sense of responsibility wanting tax cuts to be matched to cuts in spending while Romney's policies as a Governor in Massachusetts suggests otherwise. It is interesting that the Democrats can legitimately say they are party of pay as you go versus the credit card mentality of the Republicans which is spend now and let out children and grand children pay for it. My advice, learn to speak Chinese since all the jobs will be over there soon enough.

Comment: So much for the straight talk express, it was clear during the debate the McCain was distorting Romney's positions on withdrawing troops from Iraq, and Romney twists facts to make it appear as if he's the second of Ronald Reagan.

The facts are we need fiscal responsibility in Washington and I feel that it is the democratic candidates, who are at least willing to consider letting Bush's tax cuts lapse which will restore balance to the tax code and provide additional revenue for the government, not ot mention the savings that will result from ending the war, will best provide it.

Comment: Fiscal responsibility? The Clintons are pretty good with tax payers money alright...lets see, Bill draws his presidential salary for life...as well a secret service detail for life (payed for by the tax payers)...the Clinton's buy a multi million dollar home in New York so Hillary can run for the senate...oh, the house doesn't have room for the secret service detail...so the Clinton's graciously add on...and charge the government $10,000 a month rent to house the secret service detail...$10,000 which just happens is about the same as the monthly on the main house, so now we pay thier mortgage also..and since she WAS elected senator, good ol' Hil now also will draw a pension...

As far as Obama, how and why would any red blooded American vote for someone who refuses to recite the pledge of allegience and repeatedly turns his back to our flag? Wake up!

Comment: You've got to be kidding about Obama refusing to recite the pledge of allegiance and turning his back to the flag. What horses**t. You should check YOUR FACTS before repeating such absurdity.
