    Comment: I don't think yahoo is a mess, just a little too diversified. They have to potential to compete with both Microsoft and Google. I think they could use some advice from braintechs.com

    Comment: Yahoo is a mess, a confusing failure that is heading for oblivion. Microsoft's failures with search and portals is legendary. So how are these 2 incompetents going to turn into a single powerhouse? The folks at Google are laughing all the way to the bank. I believe Microsoft will not find Yahoo worth even a fraction of the purchase price by this time next year. Too bad MS is not using that pile of cash to get useful products out the door on time (MS SQL 2008) and useful applications to run on Vista PCs for business and consumers. One reason business is loath to run Vista is that there no benefits to do so that are worth the coin -- where are the killer apps that we must have and that only run on Vista? Oh right, there aren't any....
