Politics: Campaign 2008

Which of Us Just Ran for President?

Once upon a time, as many as 18 people were competing in the race for the White House. Now, heading into Super Tuesday, the field is down to a small handful of front runners. But before we turn to the survivors, let’s take a fond look back at the also-rans with a game of “Did I Run or Not?” Four of the men that follow ran for president; four of them did not-and one of those four is currently in jail. Can you guess who’s who?

I got 100% but this quiz is misleading because MIKE GRAVEL is still in the race, and will be until NOVEMBER '08. Get your facts straight Newsweek.

Obama has never been in that kind of spotlight with that kind of pressure. Tell me, you really see Hllary getting more distracted by outside influence, whether that be the media or young interns or the pressure placed on his 6 and 9 year old daughters as they grow into adolescence... you see Hillary cracking MORE than you see a man who has never been under such extreme scrutiny? Give me a break.

The spotlight comes with the job. The ability to handle the media pressure comes with the job. Hillary has been through IT ALL... she is still here and has thrived. Her life has been picked apart for 20 years.

I do not make the assumption that our President will not lie to us. Whether that come from Hillary's lips or Obama's. I think expecting that is naive and unrealistic given the intense issues a president must deal with on a daily basis. The American people simply are not prepared to handle full disclosure at this time.
