I got 100% but this quiz is misleading because MIKE GRAVEL is still in the race, and will be until NOVEMBER '08. Get your facts straight Newsweek.

Obama has never been in that kind of spotlight with that kind of pressure. Tell me, you really see Hllary getting more distracted by outside influence, whether that be the media or young interns or the pressure placed on his 6 and 9 year old daughters as they grow into adolescence... you see Hillary cracking MORE than you see a man who has never been under such extreme scrutiny? Give me a break.
The spotlight comes with the job. The ability to handle the media pressure comes with the job. Hillary has been through IT ALL... she is still here and has thrived. Her life has been picked apart for 20 years.
I do not make the assumption that our President will not lie to us. Whether that come from Hillary's lips or Obama's. I think expecting that is naive and unrealistic given the intense issues a president must deal with on a daily basis. The American people simply are not prepared to handle full disclosure at this time.

I voted for Bill Clinton twice, so I don't consider myself one of those reflexive anti-Clinton people such as Rush Limbaugh or Mark Levin. But as we are voting today in great numbers and are about to decide whether we want another Clinton in the White House, isn't it about time we took a good hard look at the former occupant of the Oval Office?
The reason I ask the question is because it appears some of us have forgotten exactly what Mr. Clinton stands for. Yes, he was a well-intentioned young man upon entry into the White House. But all that changed, tragically changed. The desire for power to do good degenerated into merely the desire for power. To grasp on to power, the President and his wife engaged in money raising activities which will become an embarrassment during a Presidential campaign. The passion for power degenerated into mere passion. As a result, we got the Monica Lewinsky affair. Worse, in order to hang on to the last vestiges of power and prestige, the former President not only lied to the American people, he lied to a duly constituted grand jury, thus making him a convicted criminal with the attendant loss of his law license. Do we really want to re-live those "glorious" days all over again? I for one voted for Barack Obama to forestall even the possibility of such a sad state of affairs becoming a reality!
