Barack + GOP = ‘Obamacans’

I do not know I'm a democrat and to be honest this whole Obama attacking Clinton's iraq vote really gets to me. I recall how angry I was on 9-11, it was horrifying what had occured and as much as I despise Bush and had reservations about the war, I did not write my senators and complain in the days after 9-11 while the war was beginning. But today what we know as a nation and what the media finally printed is a much different picture then the one the nation had on 9-11 and the weeks after.

Bush used our fear and anger to lead the nation into war, based on false information he fed the media and CONGRESS. Today I have to say what Mr. Obama is doing, using the fact we are now tired of war, have now forgotten our anger to bolster his own campaign for President just sits wrong with me. We spent months being bombarded with news clips screaming the WAR ON TERROR all day and night long. It was a continued assault on us to justify the war and no where do I recall Mr. Obama repeatedly appearing on any of those news shows stating his case of why we should not go to war.

Today he is running for President and every where I look he is stating his case. To me it's a little too late and one vote or present votes means nothing he did nothing to back it up to the country in the days when it mattered most- its easy to be a monday morning quarterback- he had the tools to make a much bigger case before now and today it's not much different from the game plan Bush used to get us into war. He is using the general feeling in the country to attack Clinton's vote- leaving out the fact Bush lied to America, the media was intimidated into reporting the false facts and most of all congress was lied to.

He just comes off as a professional politican who has moved carefully planning this run with every vote or present vote he cast. I think if he truly could make a change he would have made a huge splash before now. And as for attacking Clinton's vote on Iraq- again it would have been much more convincing had he done the late night and morning shows circuits at the time of the vote- But it seems he was afraid based on the country's feeling then he would alienate voters- unless he waited until they were tired of war and then attacked everyone who did what we wanted them to after those building fell.

I would vote for McCain or even Romney before Obama- he seems to be not much more then a media hyped candidate winning on the fact of his race rather then his record. Which again seems to be do not vote at all if it could hurt his ascent to the big office or in the case of Iraq vote no once then yes with every other bill attached to war but not mention THAT in his speeches.

Yesterday a Life Long Democrat voted not for the dead beat no show from Illinois but for a Republican John Mc Cain. I know from talking with her that he is no John Kennedy who spoke of ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country. I know that talking to her that the signs on the Atgeld Gardens complex stating building a better future are not what Martin Luther Thought. I guess you like to write of times are Changing, yes they are Barack in nothing but a whinny little boy. The Change is coming and that is that Barack is losing the faithful. My hero???s have been strong leaders men of courage and conviction. Those men faced evil and survived there race creed and National origin mean nothing because they were Americans First and Last.

I am a 55 year old white educated upper middle class female who has always voted repubican in the presidential elections since I was 18 which would kill my parents who would vote for Adolph Hilter as long as he is a democrat. I have been watching Barack Obama for some time even before he became really popular. I have read his books which he wrote before he had any aspirations of running for president and have watched how he carries himself. I believe he is genuine...he is not a muslim...his father was from a Kenya but he was not even a relgious man and Barack really didn't even know him. I am not sure how I will vote in this election but the one thing I am sure about is that it will NOT be Hillary Clinton...come on people...the Clinton's are liars and manipulators and will say and do anything to get elected. I have also read up on her in her early years...Bill had a big influence on her... she was not always a liberal. And by the way we have a 20 year daughter who is in the Army serving in Iraq and a 24 year son who is in Air Force intelligence serving in Korea as a linguist. Please research the candidants for yourself and don't believe everything your hear. I will do whatever I have to do to vote against her because it will be a disasterif she becomes president.

We, are suppose to be a country concerned about the survival of this nation. What was once
the part of the hard working, blue collar worker, is now, the party of every kooky sub
culture imaginable...the democratic party represents every pervert's right...and NONE of
the rights of the descent average American. Obama is the son of a Kenyan, whose
relatives STILL live there...I encourage any of you considering a vote for Obama go to

a love for and allegiance to AFRICA...Surely we are not dumb enough to want to send
more of our tax dollars to Africa..ALL American should be voting for the defense of the
country, or there will be nothing to CHANGE..Obama has been recognized as the
most liberal senator.......he's my best description of the anit-Christ, I've seen..he's
charming, eloquent, and DEADLY...Pray before you vote..None of us know enough about this guy, to put him in the White House. He needs to cut his teeth some place else..

First,lets try to get one thing straight ;obama is biracial,He dosen't think in terms of black or white.Two ,obama is a christian not muslim.Yes, he has relatives who are muslim but he has been a christian all his life.No one took this man seriously until he won the iowa caucas.He won this caucas because he knows how to organize on a grass roots level.That is his gift?The clintons simply had know clue of this..

As a life long republican, I never thought that I would see the day when I would vote Democrat.
I have reviewed all the candidates and Obama represents what is best of all of us Americans.
Besides his good ideas on everything form the economy, iraq and healthcare. he inspires us and makes us believe that we can. With our image so shattered both here and abroad , he is a breath of fresh air and brings us all togehter.

Barack Obama is what America needs!! He has solely won over the hearts and minds of Americans because of his passionate political views. Barack puts himself in the shoes of every American, he talks people listen, no matter what political party one might be associated with. It was not factcheck but snopes which detailed Time's research in Indonesia which was obviously sham. I read snopes again about his church. Their explanation is that calling the church "African" is legit beacuse there is a "Polish" church round the corner. Ha. Twisted theory. Usually these ethnic churches are for first generation Immigrants who are used to their old system. (like Armenian, Russian, Indian, Chines) AND THEY DON'T USUALLY RUN FOR PRESIDENT OF USA. Usually from second generation onwards people do not even go to these type of churches. So tell me what is Obama?

IndigoBlue, I love your story. I would have loved his also, if said that he attended Muslim prayers when he was young, and that meant that he was practising Islam and why he changed to Christian once he came back to USA. It would have made a nice story. But no, he cannot say that because he will lose atheist liberals. When you are running for election, yes people tend to look into all these things. I would n't really care if I get you as my Nurse when I am in the hospital. Again, the republicans are supporting him because they will get him at the end. Believe it or not. Let us wait and see.

Oprah has done a tremendous amount of humanitarian work, and people hold her in high regard. She is very independent natured, and chose to support a man she thought would truly change this corrupt government we've been enduring. You would think, people wouldn't have to ask "what needs changed" as its all so obvious to those who have been "Awake", but, there still remains a lot of sleepers!!

I would like to know one thing that has me asking, WHY!!! a few weeks ago I got an email with Edwards,Clinton and Obama standing to the Pledge of Allegiance to the FLAG OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, Edwards and Clinton both have their hands on their hearts standing at attention and Obama holding his hands together infront of him, WHY??? I was born in Mexico just over the border in Matamoros . all but 5 years of my life I've lived in Fl. I'm 47yrs old, raised as a migrant worker with all the odds against me. when I became us citizen I Pledged Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America with PRIDE and I'm still devoted to this Country and my Sons are UNTIED STATES MARINES, WHY would anybody vote for a Candidate for President of the United States of America that will not put his hand on his heart and take the Pledge. what is he going to do IF he is elected? what is going to happen to this Country if we have President that dose not believe that the Flag of this Country is not worth taking the Pledge of Alliegince?
