When Police Intervene

How dare you so called humans say she is getting what she deserves. If she is mentally impaired in way due to a undiagnosed illness- how can she be responisble? She truly may not understand that what she has done and is doing is wrong and harmful. Most likely she is ill in some way and you digusting holy than thou types want to crucify her. You are not decent enough to be called human beings. You are nothing more than heartless, soulless, jealous and hate filled scum. Where is your compassion? Where is your respect for your fellow man? You are nothing more than Sarah Silverman wannabes. Sarah and all the lot of you should be put away from society. I am ahsamed for you and by you. God speed your recovery Britney. For your sake, the sake of your 2 precious babies and for your family.

TMZ, The Media, The Paparazzi are all guilty of attributing to Britney's mental breakdown. Anyone put under constant scrutiny as if under a microscope, can expect undue pressure leading to a mental breakdown! "People hate it when someone climbs the ladder of success, but they love to watch them when they fall." Everyone needs to leave her alone and just allow her to heal.

If the $25,000 (unconfirmed by the way) helped protect the police officers, medics, and family then it was well spent in my opinion. I also don't see how Britney should be responsible to pay it. I'm sure she pays taxes like the rest of us. She didn't request all those police offficers. The police felt it was necessary to protect all those involved. Tens of thousands of tax payer dollars are wasted every day on things that are much less serious than this.

Katie Paul and NEWSWEEK might want to talk to local groups that advocate on behalf of mentally-disabled persons for a reality check in contrast to this reassuring fantasy from the LAPD spokesperson about how they handle such cases. They too often end in death for the patient at the hands of screaming outraged police.

Funny how Britney has been dianosed being bi-polar, yet she hasn't even seen a doctor yet... Oh yeah, that's right, the media started this spin so it must be true.

Arrest those paparazzi/reporters they are making too crowd. To make easier to get someone and more safe.....

I think "loveyourlife" has posted one of the most intelligent comments that I have seen on one of these boards. When you have a microscope copy shoved up your a$$ examining even move you make and announced to the world when there is a misfire, you tend to become extremely paranoid.

I am most thankful that her family finally got involved and put a restraining order against that leech that was attached to her side. It is sad when someone is suffering and people prey on their vulnerabilities.

I hope we see Britney in the near future on talk shows explaining how she has been able to over come her stresses in life and is now back on track able to be with her children.

Not sure if what she is experiencing is medically related or not... A lot of it is possibly just because she is just so far out there where the media is in a wild frenzy like a bunch of sharks eating a bleeding carcass.

Ater people say you are crazy enough, you tend to become it trying to prove them wrong. Look at what the media has done to the real estate market and are now working on destroying the economy by pushing the recession fear. If they would just shut the heck up, people would go on with their normal lives and spend the way they want to spend, but that wouldn't be as an interesting story. It is more interesting when the whole world is in a tail spin...

i think brtney spears should be responsible for the 25,000 just because she is a celeb doesnt mean she should be treated better than anyone else. I am outraged that our tax money is what paid for her partying and her acting stupid. if she is going to act irresponsible her money should be taken away from her and given to charities or to adoption agencies. at least those kids wont abuse what they are given.

Well enough of this nonsense, I still have my family and children and don't forsee a ambulance ride to day for slipping over the edge today I have more important things pressing such as the pending superbowl, so I bid all of you novice therapists good day until the next scandal you want my input on. If Police or public wants to be safe when arresting someone. They should arrest this paparazi/or the reporters to make their job easy and safe. They are NOT supposed to be in crowd they're making traffic too.......

If Britney does indeed have a true mental illness, I don't see how Kevin could be responsible for that. An illness is just that, an illness. You don't get the flu just because someone was mean to you.

The paparazzi caused the need for mass police involvement in Britney's latest escapade---so why aren't they footing at least a portion of the bill??? Possible scenario: Police assess the scene, determine Brit needs to go to hospital, paparazzi are in the way, impeding the egress of emergency personnel/vehicles. Police give fair warning that anyone who is not out of the way, up on the sidewalk or whatever, will be arrested, jailed & fined. Sure, I support free press but not at the risk of anyone's physical or mental health/safety. If John or Jane Public blocked the ambulance or cop car, they'd go to jail---so why not the so-called journalists??

This whole situation is just stupid. I thank God I'm not a part of that ridiculous Hollywood life-style. The songs and movies made today are terrible and the majority of the celebrities, especially the young one, live in a surreal world. COME BACK TO REALITY, ALL OF YOU.....And create some good art (songs and movies) jeez....As far as Brittany goes, its the world she lives in that created her melt down. Blame Federline, he is responible on this. He ruined her life. He only used BRITNEY. Where is HE when she need help. She is the mother of his children. She needs attention. Even though their marrige / relationship is DONE he should give moral support / help. He doesn't love BRITNEY even before he likes her money and want to get known by people. Look at what he did to his girlfriend (got kid). After what....then go fishing again look for big, fat fish????? You should understand it is ver hard to lost the children specially when you love them very much.... Some people get crazy on this.... And I don't understand why need lots of POLICE to get her. These people reporters, paparazzi not to be there if they don't let them to go there....And don't tell on public when want to arrest someone. This is too much ....
Maybe she needs only 2 people to get her because she is not criminal/murderer.
