He'll get my vote, as well. Mr. Thomas, once you've served your country you can speak to this veteran's temperment. I am not even asking that you serve your country to the extent that Mr. McCain did, that would be insane, only enough so that you have the right to be subjective in your writings about a great american hero. All of Newsweek's writings are severely slanted to the left. The only reason I read this article because I thought I could get an objective look at the history of one of my personal heroes. No such luck.

All you mormons should quit your crying. Mitts timetable is up. He probably will not even win his state of Mass. There are still millions of real Christians in this country that know a lot more about ya'll than you think.

Is it the media pushing McCain on us then, or is it the electorate? So the message is that McCain's adultery against an injured wife, cheating taxpayers in the S&L scandal, or selling out the american public with amnesty for illegal aliens are all sterling qualities to have in a president? There was such a time in our nation that such characters would have been rode out of town on a rail. But, hey, now they are presidential material, nevermind that they are barely intelligent enough to put together a coherent sentence with anything but shrill rhetoric (that Bush made famous). There are too many dullards who were duped into voting for Bush--and we can all see the results their misguided choice there. Clinton and Obama are not much better, but why is the public so gullible that, when they give Senators the lowest approval rating ever, they turn around and chose a president out of the Senate (3 out of 4 running are Senators). Kind of shows how confused the electorate is. We are in trouble if Americans are duped into supporting the McCain (Bush 2) crook.
