Kind of hard to have anything other than an online campaign when there is a media black out now isn't it??? I call BS!!!

the other candidates are running for the POTUS of 1998 or 1988. and the media is covering those races no this one. We are in the middle of two wars. seriously, do you see any indication of that from the coverage or ackowledgement of that from any of the other candidates? it's like it is a part of the government afghanistan department, iraq department. Our dollar is worth crap, we are in a reccesion or wil be soon. These clowns are busy quizzing each other on the consistency of their propaganda. As if it isn't all BS to start with. we can't go to war with iran or have socilizaed medicine because we can't afford it. so how about we talk about your plan to stop stealing from the american people by devaluing the dollar? can we do that for like 5 seconds please?
typical - the msnbc tag line on the search says" ron paul on when he might drop out" - it is impossible to get a fair shake in ANY media outlets because the "mainstream media" or 4th estate is bought and paid for , and they want ron to go away -- he will not , and we will not !!!

I am a supporter of Ron Paul and I will never lose confidence in a man who stands side by side in defense of liberty. Ron Paul will give us prosperity through lower taxes, open and honest government ( on the executive side ), as well as beginning the process of weaning welfare abusers from the teat of our tax dollars. It is clear to me that if your vote goes to one of the mass media's "choice" candidates you are getting a whole lot of of lip service and not much else. You have a choice of tax and spend socialist welfare/police state Hillary, tax and spend not much history Obama, tax and spend terrorist assassin turkey neck Huckabee, tax and spend terrorist killer pillaging Romney, tax and spend "comprehensive" immigration amnesty loving McCain.
Or you could have Dr. Ron Paul clearly the only clearcut choice for change.
A short list of thing I think Dr. Paul would advocate:
-Eliminate the IRS and the unconstitutional Income Tax
-Low Taxes
-Reduction in size and scope of the federal government
-Eliminate the Patriot Act 1 and 2
-Bringing troops home from many foreign countries to be home in America with their families.
-Beefing up Social security for those that have come to depend on it while giving the new generation (I am 23 yrs young) an opportunity to keep their money and invest in their own "retirement".
-Securing our borders and ending birthright citizenship for children of illegal aliens/immigrants/migrants/whatever PC term you wish to use they are still illegal.
I am sure I have missed many important issues, I did not even begin to touch on economic issues, feel free to add and elaborate.

membery, you have no clue what you are talking about. Ron Paul's message goes so much deeper than "legalized weed". Of all the issues he talks about- the FED, the IRS, Big Brother Govt, the truth about Iraq and the Middle East- you bring up weed?? Where is your mind at? Have you even tried to research these topics yourself, or do you use FOX News as your sole source for current events? Get your mind out of the gutter and elevate your thinking! Its blind sheep like you that perpetuate the current state of our country!
The results of Paul's online electioneering are obvious. It is evidently helpful for reaching young voters but insufficient for a national campaign. Unfortunately, the record shows that youthful enthusiasm has never translated in actually bringing young people to the voting machine. Perhaps Obama's popularity will change all this. Ron Paul belongs to that rare breed, the honest politician, and should be part of the next government.
Dear Headliners,
I'm a 29 year old Canadian engineer. I am, or rather was apolitical until I heard Ron Paul. I want to see more of Ron Paul. Today on the radio, I heard that a poll showed that 17% of Canadians wish they could vote in the U.S. Presidential election. People are tired of the U.S governments foreign policy of nation building and nation manipulating and we are effected negatively by the devaluation of the U.S. dollar. I don't want to see America go broke. No one does. But war is breaking the American economy and hence the american people. Only one Candidate is wise enough, tough enough and honest enough to lead the American people out of this. Ron Paul. Man he is good. He is one American politician that will get respect from the rest of the world. I said RESPECT not FEAR. When was the last time we saw such honesty and clairity? Besides, don't you think the American people deserve to know what is going on with their money ? Ron Paul will tell them the truth if the television networks let him. People will learn something about themselves and about the meaning of these elections.
I'm mad as hell at the war in Iraq, the reasons for invading were a total lie, mad as hell about the soaring Canadian dollar (exporters losing billions) and the fact that the world is a more dangerous place than ever because of the Bush administration's lies. However, I do want the U.S to be great and lead the world by example like it used to. America has a chance to show the world THEY are the most important issue in this election. That is why you need a man who will always fight for their right to wealth and peace.
People fought and died for the Constitution in the past. I believe it is probably the greatest document in history. If America wants and has to fight someone, then America should fight their corrupt government that has been ignoring that document for so long and elect a President who has a proven record of standing up for the Constitution. Fight poverty, inflation and illegal immigration. Fight a political system that encourages wars and and an unsustainable economy. Fight for unbiased media. Fight for a strong military that uses it's brain instead of it's balls. Resist going to war because of fear and apathy.
News media has to start listening to Ron Paul. We all know who owns the big networks and that there is a conflict of interest between Paul's massage and corporate media's interests to it owners and investors. I say damn it all. Enough is enough. The networks owe the people the truth and Ron Paul will give it to them. Is that too much too ask in a free society ?

Well put Aaron, our tax & spend government is long past patch and mend. It must be held accountable, just like it's citizens are held accountable. With the general population being constantly encouraged to live beyond their means, building up irrational debt that will take them years to pay off - assuming they have the sense to quit - seeing the government do the same thing doesn't seem so bad. It's sort of a tacit approval; like, "if the government can do it, why can't I?" sort of thing. The problem is that if Joe Citizen did half the things our government does, they'd be hauled off to jail - and rightly so. There is nothing in our Constitution (it's that thing we studied in middle school and seem to have forgotten) that gives the government the priviledge of breaking the same laws that we're supposed to obey. If a big corporation intentionally breaks the law, the executives (remember Enron?) are held accountable. The daily doings of Congress affect more lives than anything else that happens in this country, yet the evening news leads off with the grizzly details of some traffic accident. Just once I'd like to see them start with, "Today in Congress, . . . ." Give Dr. Paul a chance to get us back on the right track.
No, I'm sorry Lucy, Mr. Huckabee and Ron Paul are actually quite different. There are fundamental flaws with our country that must be corrected. We are operating a globe trotting empire abroad, and a welfare and prison state at home and both must STOP, not decrease by 1.5% only to be re-spent on a pet project he prefers. What I mean is, all of these politicians speak in terms of little tiny margins, when our economy and the value of our money on a global scale is looking terrible because of our uncontrolled spending. Republican or democrate, choose, but know that both tax and spend in 2008. Ron Paul, on a republican ticket gets attention, but rest assured you're voting for a Libertarian with your PERSONAL best interest, and your freedom at heart. Huckabee is yet another politician who would give the 600 lb gorilla a haircut, but wouldn't kick it out of the room, and surely wouldn't want to address it directly. Drastic change must be made to restore power that has shifted to the executive branch of this government. Huckabee doesn't appear to be a leader to me. He repeatedly allows people to walk all over him in debates and otherwise, and he just whines "gee, I'd like to get in on that". I was reading about the revolutionary war today, it was caused by much of what is going on here and now, today. Think. Believe in liberty, break the mold. If we all waste our votes, it wouldn't be a waste at all! We could change the future!
Dr. Paul's message should come as no surprize. He was the Libertarian Party candidate for president several years ago and his message is the same as that of the Libertarian Party. If you find yourself attracted to his ideas, check out the LP. I was a member for many years and the president of the College Libertarians when I was in college. The ideas aren't new, they are just getting the attention this time around.
thank you for posting something about Dr Paul although it was WEB EXCLUSIVE only.
We'll be talking about Ron Paul years from now. I'm not surprised he has done so poorly - after all, this is a country filled with people who thought it was a perfectly sound idea to buy a house with no money down on a no-doc adj rate mortgage worth 5X their salary.
This man is amazing. In my 50+ years I don't recall another candidate who was so highly principled and who backed his words with his every political action. He should receive more media coverage, if only for this aspect. His message IS revolutionary. A sad commentary on how far from the Constitution we have strayed. The very foundation of this country is crumbling. Paul offers a hand up to the lifeboat for us all.
Ron Paul has the delegates to take him to a brokered convention (35% in Maine, nearly half in Louisiana and Nevada) and the individual donations to get him there. (More money raised from military members of all candidates combined)
He got my vote in Nebraska. Breaking News: Ron Paul received 35% of the Maine delegates and nearly half in Louisiana and Nevada. He has the delegates to be in it until the convention and the individual donations to get him there.
What would life be like if Ron Paul were president?
Imagine getting your full paycheck,
without the IRS???s sticky fingers reaching in and taking a portion of it;
imagine no income tax forms, no April 15;
imagine knowing that your Social Security money is going into an actual account
which is off-limits to special interest spending; imagine a stable currency,
backed by a real commodity such as gold.
Imagine focusing our military efforts on keeping U.S. borders secure,
instead of sending our soldiers to be blown up in Iraqi mine-fields.
Utopia? No.
Just a nation where the government and upholds the law and defends the Constitution of the United States of America.
Remember our past and vote for Ron Paul.
For years I have scoffed at both Republicans and Democrats claiming to be victimized by the media. For the first time in my adult life I have found a politician who has a message that personifies "common sense." That candidate is Dr. Ron Paul. Unfortunately, his proposals are not translating into the votes I expected. In my opinion, he is the true "uniter." While the fourth estate certainly cannot bear all of the responsibility I am dumbfounded that Dr. Paul's message has not been better reported. It is sad indeed that his views are represented as quaint. I definitely have my disagreements with the man, but fear for my daughter and grandson's future if the US continues with "status quo." WE THE PEOPLE are going to suffer tremendous consequences if we fail to acknowledge and agree to personal sacrifices in the immediate future. The record turnout of primary voters of all ages and backgrounds is heartening. That said, I fear that after the November election citizens will be quoting the WHO: "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss."
