I don???t believe that the people in the United State can afford health care for everyone.

Kashimo: What experience did JFK have when he ran as a young Senator
chris matthews is for obama ...you can tell the way he spins everything clinton says...i stopped watching msnbc because of it..it's too bad you have people on here that has a agenda..their not journalist their talk show. he is so biased...hell they should have a show like springer...he is so biased against hillary..............
WAKE UP AMERICA! The anti-Christ is not Obama it is the Clintons and there bunch of Anti Christian fanatics that are running their campaign. Remeber the Clinton years and what they used the Whitehouse for, nothing less then a brothel for Bill Clinton. All the while Hillary was running an anti Christian campaign stopping and and all Christian books coming and leaving America. Also questions of the leadership while in the as whowhowhotowhitehouse as to who really ran it is up for debate.
i have been reading some of the posts today and am pleased by some while others disappointed me.some people seemed to have simply regurgitated what they've heard others say. i myself voted for obama but could easily have voted for hillary. their policies are'nt that different but i believe that obama ,more so than hillary can beat the republicans .and once in office has the persona , determination and character to work with both parties to get something accomplished . and as far as his mantra for change,i like it .and there is no mystery, he lays out his policies just as clear as any other candidate.
i think bill clinton should be hilary's vic president... there is no law that states he can't.. she has my vote!!!! also can obama's wife dress and look like the wife of a presidential canditate? she dresses like she's going to walmart to shop.. she needs to fix her hair and dress nicely.. he will not get my vote because he's not experienced enough. hillary is my sisiter, she's tough and has the can do attitude. jenny from ny
i believe if we vote for obama that we will be giving the middle east what they want, control over our country , at least we know what to expect out of clinton. This man is too much of a smooth talker only to gain control and if we are stupid americans we will put him in office. Hopefully, we use are heads and really look at what this man is really doing. Be watchful of smooth talkers , that are not what they seem to be@!!!
They said the same thing about Jesus Christ...a young smooth talker who preached about change. Let's not make the same mistake twice.
First things first....Barrack Obama is not Jesus. This is the third or fourth comment I've heard people (Obama supporters) comparing him to Jesus, one even made reference to him giving us communion.
I'm not a supporter of any candidate at this point, but to be quite honest, some of these Obama supporters are starting to scare me.
Obama is not a prophet, not a peace bringer to the world and not Jesus Christ.

In a general election Hillary's whole experience argument will be torn to shreds, especially against John McCain. Everybody just accepts that she has all of this experience, but truth is that Obama has held elected and legislative office longer then her. Her whole experience argument comes from being first lady for eight years. Does that equal experience? What kind of policy decisions has she made? Let???s be perfectly honest she would not even be considered viable at all if her last name was not Clinton.
The world is not laughing, the world is hopeful that America will strive to come out of this hole that "W" has put us in. The world is watching, just as excited as those of us here in America, hoping we will pick a candidate that will lead us and the world once again to the greatness it used to be. It is sad to see the ignorance that is trying to hold us back by making untrue comments about Obama being Muslim. We don't need a President who is going to continue the war for another 100 years. We need a President who cares about the American people, not about destroying another country. It is so funny how religious fantatics try so hard to make us think the anti-christ is coming, the end is near. All they are doing is spreading hate. I am not Muslim nor am I for Obama. I'm for change!! I'm sick of waking up each morning to hear how this country is failing. I don't think Obama has the experience yet. He is an amazing speaker, but it will take more than that to turn this country around. I'm for Hillary, if she does not get the nomination, then I will be for Obama because either one of them will be a better choice for this country than what we have now. Anyone who thinks we should continue on the course that we have set before us needs to either get their heads out of the sand or get it checked!
Well Broker maybe you should look and see who is voting for Obama most of his votes come form the upper class of the democratic party.. I also resent that you think intelligent people won't vote for Hillary as a matter of fact if people were looking at the facts they would vote for Her. I don't care what Barack background is I truthfully don't believe he is ready to be President of the United States and I love Oprah but I really think she made a mistake endorsing someone who has a lot of learning up on the hill. I believe that Hilliary has shown she can stay in for the long haul and she has been fighting for changes in health care before Barack was out of high school. Sorry but I want someone who knows how to work with and get around the Old establishment up on the hill.
just a hint, when arguing for Hillary's successes, you should not use healthcare as an example. do you remember what happened the last time she tried? HMOs. The CEO of United Healthcare made 1.7 BILLION dollars last year. That was HIS paycheck! I don't want the government to take my healthcare payments out of my paycheck. I can decide for myself which insurance to buy, thanks very much. what would be good is come regulation to ensure that Americans can get insurance on their own and at a reasonable price.
I'll conced that Hillary has had some successful ventures in her life. Healthcare reform, to date, has been a miserable failure.
You can CHOOSE the federal healthcare or KEEP your own policy. Nobody is forcing you. And as far as paying, if you cannot afford the premium you can only be asked to pay a maximum percentage of your income. Have you read the details?
The HMO came from Nixon....not the Clintons....Please check your facts!
Did you find the name of the town in AK? It wasn't a true story. Besides, if she was registered "REP", she couldn't have cast a vote for a DEM. I think you may be a victim of media hype.
Thank you Johnny1967, I couldn't have said it better myself.
Kery is already talking a brokered convention .Mass. went climton .
Kennedy certinally is an old school power broker.
Obama by taking their endorcements shows us Change is just a bumper sticker slogan .
I forgot to add that he should NOT use Clinton as a rnning mate...people seem to forget that there were possible illegal activities that could have put one or both of the Clintons in jail....not to count the fact that the American people were lied to their face on TV by Bill
How can people just allow someone like Hillary Clinton take office? She makes women look weak, pathetic, and stupid. If a woman is going to be president then it should be someone who CAN Lead and not someone who needs help running her job, campaign, life, etc. If I learned that my husband was sleeping around I would of tossed him out and taken him for everything he had. Then I would be strong and lead victorious with making things right, justifiable, dignity, truth, and strength. No one would be able to take advantage of me and bust my self esteem. She lacks the self esteem, courage, and ability to lead this country. Only weak minded women would vote for someone so dense. Hillary needs to get some balls. As for as McCain, the thought scares me for some reason. I see world war 3 in the near future thanks to the bitter aging man. Obama is a promising sight and so is Romney. At this point in our history and time we need a REAL life change. I believe either one can give it with maturity, intelligence, and needs of the people not themselves. Don't listen to the lies that comes out of the mouths of all the delegates. Do your own homework and listen to their hearts. Only then will the real good of the person will be revealed. Please people be careful who you choose. 'These are hard times and a mistake can lead to severe consequences in our future and the future of our children. Choose wisely.
Men use women all the time. Look at Fred Thompson's wife! Do you think he married her for love?! haha They're called trophy wives! What's wrong with her using him to get ahead? That's called taking advantage of the resources around you and it's not stupid. Is Laura Bush a strong, admirable, and smart woman because she's the perfect housewife and bakes cookies for her husband? Everyone needs some help running a campaign! That's why there's huge scores of volunteers for campaigns and why Barack has endorsements from the Kennedys and John Kerry. Becasue they're helping him with his campaign! Duh!. Grow up. If my husband was Bill Clinton, and the Republicans were crucifying him, and trying to get him impeached for his private life, and humiliate me and my family while I have an impressionable young daughter to raise, I would have stuck by him too purely out of spite. It takes a much weaker person to cut and run when times are tough than to weather the storm when all eyes are on you! I give her credit for making up her own mind and not doing what people want her to do.
At the end of Hillary's speech quoting the ideals and values of our nation written on the Statue of Liberty she said, "God Bless You"!. At the end of Obama's "Attack Hillary" speech he says, " I Love You." Who do you think has the experience needed to be the President of our United States of America?
Tina, is this just frustration talking? Do many men tell you "I love you" and leave? Sorry about that. Hillary says what she thinks you want to hear, thats all. Depending on the polls, her stance mnay change any day. Tomorrow, if "I love you" works, she will spout that out of her nasty mouth. Believe me, if she wins the nomination, America will once again be controlled by the GOP, as many Dem's and all independents will stay away...just as those that told you, I love you.
I heard him say I Love You last night and it was creepy. I swear Obama belongs back in the sixties as a hippie. Not saying that in a bad way, there is just something about him. Anyway, Hillary has very clear stances on issues and visions for our future. Our children's futures. I totally disagree that she changes just to say what we wanna hear. It is Obama that will say whatever works to fight for the nomination. He talks a good game, but I'm not buying it. www.hillaryclinton.com
What in the world does that comment have to do with anything regarding running the country?
It's sad to see ignorant, blatantly racist remarks posted. Prayer changes things, including wounded hearts. Prayers for all who carry the torch of racism: SMOTHER IT!!! CHOOSE TO CHANGE!!! You CAN, one person, one family, one neighborhood, one community at a time!!! Treat the stranger next to you in the grocery line, in the post office line, at the bank, in the library, at church, with respect, friendliness, courtesy and concern. Look in that person's eyes. Smile!!! You'll feel so much better about yourself, and you will have made your community, your state and this country a better place to live!
To Incredulous in 08: sometimes we must follow what we know and what we believe! We can't continue to listen to all the negative comments made by Republicans, the Obama supporters, nor the men and/or women who believe "we are not ready for a woman to be President"! There are those of us; "black, white, men, women, hispanics, asians, and everyone in between" who truly believe in Sen. Clinton and will continue to support her candidancy! We have listened to so many attacks against Sen. Clinton and former President Clinton, but all of this negatvie fighting and bickering and only drive me more to suppport Sen. Clinton any urge all of friends, "men, women, hispanics, black, white, asians and everyone in between"! God bless us and all!
I'm not trying to pick a fight with anybody, I'm sorry if you got that impression. In fact, most often when I post it is to call people on behaving badly or useless or vicious bickering or attacks. I meant the question sincerely. For example, I grew up in GA and so very many people there HATE the Clintons. I'm NOT saying that's right, please believe me. My own choice is based solely on the issues, not personality, gender, or race for either candidate. I vote FOR someone, never AGAINST another. What I'm saying is, a GREAT MANY people will and I just think winning back the White House and keeping Congress trump a great many concerns when the two candidates are so similar on policy. I respect your support for the Clintons, I promise. I have just found that I like someone else. No big deal. That's just how things work. What I was asking about, though is the reality of the political landscape being more or less against Hillary nationwide. I ABSOLUTELY agree with your assertion that you support your candidate regardless of the electability argument. But that is an argument of ideals. Something that Obama has taken a great many hits for because ideals don't always correlate with reality. I'm terribly afraid, right or wrong, that reality goes against her chances of 1. winning the general, 2. preventing a republican backlash in congress, 3. getting anything done through all of the partisan fighting that will occur. My concern is NOT a judgement of Hillary as a person or as a politician.
Thank you for your comments! Again, awake up! REPUBLICANS will say or do anything to get Sen. Clinton out of this race, because they are sure they will beat Sen. Obama in the election! Again, wake up, the election is won by electoral votes, not by popular votes! Didn't we learn anything from President Bush's win over Al Gore? Contact your senator and representative and urge them to rethink the Constitution regarding our election system of delegates selecting a candidate to run for President and an electoral deciding our President, the most important office in our country! Shouldn't we the people make this decision???? That is why I say we need to stop this bickering and try to learn all we can about this process and work on changing it.
I agree with carefree848..time to do away with the electoral college... We have significant advances in voting technology...there is no reason to use the electoral college. I think we will have a much more fair result!
For SHEL8907.. do you really want to insult those of us that may support Hilary by calling names? I am not ignorant by any means!
Obama said he can't even keep his paperwork straight? And you really think that is what we need in the WH?
Please remember, as the 1st Lady, Hilary wasn't allowed to exact the changes that she wanted to, so your comment about not being able to change anything when Bill was in office is moot.
Hilary is ready and does CARE about americans and the issues that face this country. I think Obama is all glitz and glam... no substance...good speaker... but no actual experience.. he talks a good game, but has he actually made a game plan? I have NEVER heard his game plan... just a lot of fluff about what is wrong and the he is going to change it... but no real solutions... oh, he must have written them down somewhere and lost his notes!~
John.Jacobs24 you are wrong about a lot of things. I didn't know that being the wife of a President qualifies you to become President. Maybe some of these house wives should get out and run the multi-national companies that we have. According to you, they can do it because they are qualified. Hillary does not have more experience than Barack. He was right when he said she was working for Walmart when he was beating the streets of Ilinois trying to make a difference. Also, plans like Hillary's healthcare plan has been seen 12 times and denied 12 times. It is not universal but mandatory like car insurance. She hasn't admitted to using the wrong judgement on Iraq yet and her idea of national security is to beef up the borders to keep out immigrants who so blindly continue to vote for their own ticket back out of the country.
We dont need a manager in the White House. We need a leader. Barak can get someone to handle administrative duties but Hillary's attitude wont get anyone to sit down with her and negotiate. Lets make one thing clear. YOU ARE NOT GETTING BILL CLINTON A THIRD TERM. Let him move on and date all the hookers he wants. Every Republican is rooting for Hillary b/c its their best chance to get back to the WH. She flips more than a coin during a football game.
She doesn't have any experience! The experience she spoke about in the LA debates were feeding the hungry and driving old people to the doctor. You dont need a President to do that just a caring chaffeur.
Hillary's attitude? Hookers? Third term? What are you talking about? Hillary is her own person. A smart, intelligent one with her own ideas. And very caring at that. All her work helping people proves that. Bill is her husband. But SHE is the one who will be standing as our President, and I know she will make her own decisions. To Republicans. Vote Hillary in the primary if you believe she is the easier candidate to beat!
Oh you are right... Obama was doing DRUGS while Hillary was working her way through school.
Fidelidad, don't ever compare anyone running for president of the United States Of America with Fidel Castro. We have a constitution that prohibits anyone from comming in turning our democracy into a dictatorship. This is a foolish comparison. Agent of change means that we no longer let big business run this country. Our health care system is broken because of lobbyists who spend extraordinary amounts of money to make sure that government enacts laws that favor them financially. Our financial system is broken because of lobbyists who pay extraordinary amounts of money to make sure that they have the ability to fleece the American public with hidden costs, fees and predatory lending. Take it from me, I've been involved first hand in the subprime deacle that threatens to topple our economy. Whether or not Obama and Clinton are both from the same party is a moot point. They stand for completely different ideals. While one candidate stands to make huge changes that will put Washington in a position to do what's right for the people (Obama), the other candidate stands for working within the broken framework to try and achieve what governement has failed to do for decades (Clinton). Make real change for the American people, on behalf of the American people to benefit the American people. How can you possibly think that Hillary, who's taken more money from special interests than any other candidate, will work against their interests? That's just plain naivety.
When I see Osama pitching himself as an agent of change I remember the time in Cuba when Fidel Castro did the same.... and see the results...
Wow... nice. Are you a democrat? Where is all this hate coming from?! Cuba?! You've got to be joking.
I only see the future of this great country in danger because of a man calling himself an agent of change.
He think by using his "unusual vote" against the war (remember most of the time voted p r e s e n t ) the republican nominee will be defeated. Wait to see if, what the have on account for him (not accountable, no experience at all, let see what the Redsko trial bring for him, communist talk.............
Osama is a joke with no substance. It amazing how people will follow anybody who can string a few words together and look pretty. Yea, I really want President Barak Hussein Obama making decisions about my family's safety when its all on the line, and a tough decision has to made. I'm also sick and tired of the Harvard and Yale idiots running our country. If anything has been established over the past 20 years it's that you don't want the IVY league frat boy and sorority girls running America. "Audacity of hope"....what hollow, meaningless nonsense.
Hope is "audacious" because there are so many cynical people out there who believe that hoping, dreaming, and working hard to achieve something is a "fairy tale." If it weren't for hope, human civilization would have been wiped out centuries ago.
