What? You can't claim to be a Christian if you have sinned? What a joke. With that kind of religious thinking, why not become Muslim. Cut off the hands of thiefs. Hillary is a good woman who has persevered through some rough times. She has forgiven those who have hurt her. How Christian of her.

Clinton should just ask OBama to be her VP . Obama keep repeating his stand on Iraq but what will he do if the country or its Allies are attack by terrorist . Obama is weak on the home securityu front . Clinton and Mc Cain are both strong on National Security so both can debate about the economy , health care and all the domestic problems which Hillary has more substance . Obama stop attacking Hillary , you are more negative now . You are lucky that the blacks like Oprah votes for blacks and not what is best for the country .

    • Posted By: polchat @ 02/06/2008 1:09:41 PM

Yeah...they are both strong on security, he as a Honorably discharged veteran who survived several years as a POW and she as a civilian who "didn't know that signing an " AUTHORIZATION TO GO TO WAR" meant that others would have to GIVE SOME (Vets that survive) and others would
      GIVE ALL their LIFE !!!!!!!!!!!

    • Posted By: AmericanWoman_34 @ 02/06/2008 12:26:36 PM

Please don't turn this into a racist issue because of your ignorance. I personally know blacks who are going to vote for Hillary and white women who are rooting for Obama.... so where does that leave your theory???

  • Posted By: John.Jacobs24 @ 02/06/2008 1:07:41 PM

...she was led astray , duped, bamboozled by the Bush administration on Iraq.

Please remember.... WE WERE ALL LED astray by the Bush administration...ALL of US!

9/11 did more that kill americans... it blinded our judgements.

She has changed her stance on this, like MOST americans have once the facts were out and our blinding rage had calmed.

I don't think anyone should vote based on their gender, race, or religious alliances.... make a choice for the best candidate.... you need to do the research, pull up thier senator stats, pull up thier voting records, look at their accomplishments and then decide for yourself!

  • Posted By: polchat @ 02/06/2008 12:58:22 PM

I am still an undecided voter who is seeking some answers from Hillary supporters as to all the things she has accomplished in her time in the Senate, and what in her resume convinces you that she has the judgement, acumen and strength of character to lead this nation on the world stage. It appears from super tuesday that she is carrying white women and Latinos, which concerns me...because that appears to be a feminist agenda. Is it possible that white women are more consumed with electing a woman than they are with electing the right person regardless of gender! That doesn't seem too patriotic ?? Much like Latinos who appear to have voted with past history in mind, my most fervent concern with Hillary is that despite her immense knowledge and privy to intelligence reports, briefings, etc...she was led astray , duped, bamboozled by the Bush administration on Iraq. Then to add insult to injury (our soldiers killed and maimed in a war she gave Bush carte blanche on) she yet again voted against the Levin amendment. Hillary supporters...please help me to understand and see what you see in your candidate, that I too could consider voting for her and allign myself with my gender.

  • Posted By: John.Jacobs24 @ 02/06/2008 12:32:40 PM

SonnyAZ .... NO one has experiencen "in" the White House until they are elected...not even OBAMA..

Hillary has 30 years exp of service, working for people as a senator, and she has a proven record. Don't let the media or the obama campaign twist it all around...

    • Posted By: SonnyAZ @ 02/06/2008 12:40:34 PM

As I said 8 years ago, most Americans are either blinded by all the politician garb out there, or are just plain idiots. To vote for Hillary, who stands for nothing, and will fall for everything, is just plain idiotic! Yes, she has a proven record...working with the lobbyiest, lining her own pockets. This is, and always will be one of the largest issues Ameicans need to be aware of. There is no voice, as Hillary speaks of, until the lobbyists are ousted. Like Bush, she is, and will say ANYTHING to get the nomination, and I garautee, she will fail miserably if elected.

      • Posted By: John.Jacobs24 @ 02/06/2008 12:48:33 PM

Just remember Obama raised 32 million in "special interest" campaign contributions... who owns him?

        • Posted By: SonnyAZ @ 02/06/2008 12:54:26 PM

You mean like the special interest money raised by the Clinton's since the 1980's? And all those who could have, or were to testify, taht are now mysteriously dead? By accidental gunshot wounds? hmmmm Yes, they sound like very trusting people. They were incolved in more scandals, but always found a way out of it...or just made darn sure the witnesses werent able to attend any hearings.

          • Posted By: John.Jacobs24 @ 02/06/2008 12:57:24 PM

  • Posted By: ncross101 @ 02/06/2008 10:27:20 AM

This campaign is not about experience. You can't find more "experience" than what you have in the Whitehouse right now. Its about leadership, and bringing our Country together. Obama has this quality, and anyone who says he doesn't is just plain lying. Hillary doesn't. And by the way, we have had a one term Senator from Illinois as President before. His name was Abraham Lincoln. He didn't do too bad. So stop playing the experience card.

I feel the Kennedys and the governor in Massachusetts helped OBAMA greatly, he was previously down in that state. Also he made great strides in CA. thanks again to the Kennedys. OBAMA is truly the people's choice, Furthermore I do not think the Super Delegates should be making the decision for the American people. They have their own agenda.

First of all how can anyone take Mccain serious. He is a million years old for one, I feel asleep on two President adressess, he has no attention of removing no troops from Iraq. So if you have family members in the war they will remain. He is backing the mobster George Bush to keep troops and spend 300billion dollars on improving Iraq when we have all sort of problems over here. Whoever becomes President needs to stop thinking of there needs but the needs of America as a whole. We all pay taxes no matter if you poor, middle, or rich. I dont think Republicans like their choose for canidates because all three all some sad contenders. Democrates on the other had have two good candiates. Hillary has her good points and Obama has his. I am just tired of everyone getting hyped up and once they get into office its a whole different ballgame. Stand by what you say, Everyone needs healtcare!!!!!

I like Hillary and believe in alot she stands for but, Obama brings someting new, freash and and we want move forward. How do we know Hillary will be a good president, how do we know anyone will be good at the job. We never know until they sit in that chair in the oval office. All I KNOW IS THAT AMERICA WIL NEVER VOTE FOR A BLACK PRESIDENT AND THAT IS A DAMN SHAME! We want the world to see us different , to be understanding and tolerant towards others yeah right not us . can and will we ever be able to get over our
    prejudices.

Did he convert to Christianity in a calculated matter so he can win the US Presidency ? America should vote with their minds not with their emotions . Unfortunately , whether we like it or not BLACKS VOTE FOR BLACKS WE should vote for policies and substance not rhetoric s .

Remember the country is wounded and the economy is bleeding profusely and we need an EXPERIENCE
Surgeon not a Motivational Speaker .

Unmasking Obama: Voting not to invade a Muslim state, (it would also upset his 100% Muslim family) was he, as vocal against invading a Christian state in Serbia? He says his first appointment is to talk the enemy in Iran, it is like saying the next will be Osama! Hypnotizing the unaware youth to get elected is a crime and he is very good at it, using meaningless fraises, CHANGE, and YES WE CAN, over and over again. He should be prosecuted. There was a leader, extremely successful, hypnotizing using two words HEIL HITLER

    • Posted By: emmarcee @ 02/06/2008 10:40:17 AM

I am truly amazed at these absolutly cruel and ignorant postings. I am a women, and white, and Christian. I voted last night for Obama. This country was founded on religious freedom, and has evolved to a place where we are beginning to not see gender or race, but just a person. That is what I voted on. A person. A person who I feel represents what my family and I need, what I believe in, and the policies/reforms that I feel can be accomplished. I do not care about gender, race, religion, or if the candidate had four arms.

After years of feeling indifferent because we felt so unrepresented, we finally have a leader who truly represents our voice and speaks the cries of our hearts. We finally have a leader who gives the American flag new meaning, a meaning that no longer screams: "my country right or wrong." A meaning that says: "we are a country of every culture and creed, and yet, we can be one." VIVA PRESIDENT OBAMA - SI SE PUEDE!

In these next weeks, we ALL have to get on the phone,

    get on the trail,
cover our cars (if you choose to have one)
our homes and bodies with the message,
    talk to our friends,
    talk to neighbors,
    to our family,
    feed people,
    make art,
    meditate,
    pray,
    do everything we can

to BRING OUR PRESIDENT OBAMA TO THE WHITE HOUSE.

We know this: Obama is not alone in this campaign - this is our campaign. He is the voice. We are the body.

    • Posted By: mark48 @ 02/06/2008 10:38:44 AM

Not on your life or mine which may be at stake here a vote for Obama is a vote to destroy America wake up and don't be taken in by his smooth talking!!!!!!!

      • Posted By: MDavis62 @ 02/06/2008 12:34:52 PM

I take it you didn't vote for Bush, because someone as wise and discerning as yourself would have never put someone so untrustworthy in the White House. You remind me of someone....oh yeah, "Pilate".

    • Posted By: esya @ 02/06/2008 11:28:37 AM

SusannaC, I understand what you want to accomplish, I just think you are dreaming. He does not have the ability to deliver. If you want to understand the base and depth of Hillary's commitment to the same ideals then go to the Center for Women in the Media website, and read the links to her early speeches, one at her college graduation and another at the international conference for the rights of women. This is the Hillary that older women are voting for, and we know it is at the depth of her being. She is not a has been, she is a link to the future. He is sadly just another ambitious young man climbing to the top on the backs of loyal and strong women. We are NOT a country of every culture and creed because your support of Obama once again reflects that only christian men who have the blessing of the establishment get power. Look at the history of his Harvard--women not admitted until required to be admitted by law, blacks not admitted until the Veteran's education act required them to be admitted. On the other hand, hers--Yale--granted degrees to women and minorities long before Harvard. This is cultural elitism and he is a beneficiary of it. As far as "my country right or wrong" that is the battle cry of the Republicans, you are truly confused. Hillary is every bit as much an agent of change, and for longer, than Obama.

  • Posted By: ThePessamist @ 02/06/2008 10:27:52 AM

I was just wondering about Obama's plans to be sworn in if he does happen to win? How exactly will the ceremony be conducted if he does not say the pledge? Also I received an e-mail stating his stepfather is a muslim extremist, is there any truth to this?

    • Posted By: egal @ 02/06/2008 10:54:45 AM

It is sad that such lies find their way around. Obama does say the pledge, was sworn in on the bible, salutes the flag and is a christian. If you missed CNN's "keeping them honest" that debunked all these lies, read his facts page on his website. Those emails are pure lies, and thankfully have not done him bad enough harm as yet. Hate mongering can only bring us down.

      • Posted By: muddcreek2 @ 02/06/2008 11:22:12 AM

U say every thing said about obama is a lie then why did he take so long to tll people what his middle name is , why is he tied to a church whoe's pastor gave the one person who says certain people are devils and who trys to spread hatred among differant races, he will say any thing he can on his site to get votes all he has to do is use a little honey open you eyes don't be blind.

        • Posted By: johnfhines @ 02/06/2008 12:33:17 PM

Enter Your Comment I have to ask a question guys, if your views on obama's pastor are true , then we should make every person who goes to church accountable for their pastors actions? that means the pastor who was found guilty of assisted rape, and Jim jones, and jimmy swaggert, etc, we should just say that their members are guilty because they listened to them preach . C',mon people you have to be smarter than that,

    • Posted By: ArmywifeAK3 @ 02/06/2008 10:49:30 AM

No it is all a bunch of crap, they are just trying to scare everyoene with this email. Yes his father is muslim(but he left Obama at the age of 2) but his mom was from Kansas. He never went to a xtreme school he went to a catholic school. He has been a member of the same Christian church for over 20 years and did not swear on the koran but swore on the bible. It is a disgrace that people are doing this to him. So for example say your family does not believe in God and is white trash who can't support the family, does that mean you would be that way? No just because your parents where a certain way does not mean you can not change who you are and actually take a stand for yourself as a adult.

I think we'll all see a very different Clinton White House with Hillary calling the shots. Bill may be a good sounding-board with his own experiences in his pocket, however I don't think Hillary will make decisions based on his influence. I think she is a very strong individual with a well-thought out and planned agenda that she has been working on since she became a Senator. I firmly believe she is well equiped to handle any crisis and capable of making correct moral and disciplined decisions to put this country back in a favorable light for all the world to see. I'm confident of that and have been looking forward to her presidency for a long time. GO HILLARY!

OBAMA TALKS ON CHANGE SO WHAT IF HIS EXPERINCES ARE LESS THAN CLINTON THIS DOESN'T MEAN THAT HE CAN'T DO THE JOB HELL LOOK ATWHAT WE HAVE RUNNING THE USA NOW HE LACKS MORALS, COMMON-SENSE, AND INTEGRITY HE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW BLACK PEOPLE ARE IN BRAZIL EXPERIENCE NO!!!!!!!!!.

Obviously these old democrats wants Obama so they can control him . It is like Camilla wants Charles to marry Diana , and the rest you know the story ..

"While no-one will truly know his past, we can only look at his roots which are MUSLIM. I survived 9/11 and to this day question all of those from that part of the world. I certainly would never consider electing one to even a simple office."

Seriously, that is just ignorant. I don't know what race or religion you are and really don???t care; however I guess that means white Americans should never vote for someone who is Asian. We don't want another Pearl Harbor. Oh and even better, maybe whites shouldn't be in office because we have massacred more people through out history than anyone. Wow.

I am of mixed race... but this shouldn't be about race. Read up on history, not just the recent history of the United States. And visit some other countries... see how they treat people there.

There is another point is Barack's people kept on denying that he has Muslim connection, why do they have to deny that. Why did n't he say that he used to attend Mosque and was leading a Islamic life? and now he changed.. would have been a good testimony. Did he try to hide it? I know this senator from VA who tried to hide his jewish roots lost in election not because he was half jewish , but because he was a PRETENDER.

Didn't anyone here play lincoln logs as a child? You build strong from the bottom up, and Mrs. Clinton has done nothing but that during my lifetime thus far. After 8 years under an administration conducting itself with complete and utter disregard for this country and its people, I look forward to having a President that cares about me and my family again.

I like Obama, and would be fine with him getting the nomination. But he's young, and inexperienced in the problems that are facing our country today.

Hillary has 8 years of on the job training. The woman can take a punch and get back up. She has spent the last 6 years building working relationships with the Republicans in Congress and getting things done.

I can only ignore those who spew hate towards her based on that she's a liar, conniving, whatever. She's had over 30 years of public SERVICE to our country AND IS THE BEST MAN FOR THE JOB TODAY.
