After 8 years under an administration conducting itself with complete and utter disregard for this country and its people, I look forward to having a President that cares about me and my family again.

I like Obama, and would be fine with him getting the nomination. But he's young, and inexperienced in the problems that are facing our country today.

Hillary has 8 years of on the job training. The woman can take a punch and get back up. She has spent the last 6 years building working relationships with the Republicans in Congress and getting things done.

I can only ignore those who spew hate towards her based on that she's a liar, conniving, whatever. She's had over 30 years of public SERVICE to our country AND IS THE BEST MAN FOR THE JOB TODAY.

It is sad that the media is so fixed on helping Obama.Of course they are . He will be so much easier than Hillary to paint as a flaming liberal in november and despite the changes of heart in our country ensure another republican president. Wake up democrats, do we want to win the white house? or do we want to
cheer and go crazy at large rallies for a man who has no real ideas. Our world is not in a time or place right now to elect someone with so little experience. I hope in the coming months more democrats, independents and dissillusioned republicans will see that and switch their support to Hillary

SHE RODE THE COAT TAILS OF BILL CLINTON AND SHE LET HIM CHEAT ON HER FOR YEARS JUST SO SHE COULD RUN FOR PRESIDENT , THIS IS NOT A GUESS OR A TABLOID ARTICLE , LIKE IT OR NOT , WE ALL KNOW IT'S TRUE. ASK YOUR NEIGHBOR IF THEY KNOW WHO DIANE RODHAM IS AND LOOK AT THEIR FACES/

SONNY AZ.. her plan for health care was crushed out by the REPUBLICANS scared of 'socialized medicine', and her 30 years of exp. comes from being her own Senator not bills doormat... that was only 4 years. But still more than obama...even as a senator..!

ARE YOU KIDDING? olgalucia @ 02/06/2008 11:53:55 AM What experience as you say, does Hillary have? 30 years? NOT She was Bill's doorstep, thats it. She worked on the Helth Care for well over 16 years, yes, and where did that get us? She has absolutely NO experience running a country...give me a break@!

I think as far as Obama is concerned, people need to listen at his agenda. You can clearly see that his character is genuine and that he truly represent a change in this country like no other candidate. He is confident and very sure of what he believe ,he will move us forward in a big way. He brings all parties race nationality and creed together in an amazing way. He is not out to attract a certain people, he wants to reach America as a people and for the people.

it is quite absurd and unfortunate that some Americans still reason on racist grounds, there by saying that Obama has won some states just because some african-american community are rallying behind him. i guess we ought to be more keen on his audience next time we hear him give a speech. it cuts across all races unless CNN has been broadcasting doctored information, which is quite un thinkable. you dont need to be an amrican to see that Obama deserves to be President and for those who are winning alot about experience, realise that even Bill Clinton would have done nothing had he not been given the opportunity and did the first president of America have experience? let us give up baseless arguments, it has nothing to do with race or color, the truth is change is dynamic and respects no race.

I am personally rooting for Hillary, but at the same time I would be honored to call either Sen. Obama or Sen. Clinton the next President of the United States. For once in 8 years, I would not have to hang my head in shame over the direction our country is going.

  • Posted By: skellyboy @ 02/06/2008 11:55:13 AM

Both Obama & Clinton seem more than qualified, but more interesting then that is the fact on TV last night, 1st Clinton and 2nd Obama noted the devestation in Tennessee and Kentucky, while the evangelicals, too flush with their political victories didn't really express concern about the plight of those people devastated.

Hillary more qualified? NOOOO She is again, a politician who will continue with business as usual. She is not in it for the people, but rather herself. She has lined her pockets very nicely as a Senator, and will continue to let the lobbyists decide our fate. She has NO experience as she says, unless she is counting Bill's tenure. This is so very funny...watching all the women vote for her just because...God help us I cant stand Mr Bush, and I put her in the same catagory with him...just another loud mouth politician!

I'm seeing many comments from people who are stating things that essentially boil down to "people don't like Obama just because he's a Black man". Come on, get real! In a Country that gives Black men more opportunities for government grants and scholarships than any other group of people, do you honestly believe that it's still about hatred? My problem, and many other's problems, with Obama is that 1) He has a questionable history 2) He belongs to a Church that would be called racist if he was White 3) He came out of nowhere and doesn't have any experience 4) His "Change" is undefined and general 5) His father IS a radical Muslim.

have you ever heard of obama's parent before he came in the spotlight? the only terrorist we know are people like you, who uses the word to misinform and scare people. please get information about the family before you make any other comment. please also mention that his mother is a white woman from kansas who prefered to marry outside his race because she wasn't a bigot like the few of you who make lots of noise.

    • Posted By: johnfhines @ 02/06/2008 11:45:54 AM

I would like to say to all the people who keep commenting about Obama's father's politics, most of you (if you are white ) wouldn't like your ancestors politics, because of the times they were more than likely racists, would you like for someone to judge you because your grandfather was a nazi or a member of the Klan? I didn't think so, judge Hillary and Obama on their own merits not on who they;re associated wth by blood or marriage.

I can't believe people can't see though the smoke after everything this country has been though. People are talking about Obama's faith and Hillary's a women, are we truly that igonarant as a country, people. This is about our future, our childrens future. I've never been disappointed to be an American but getting harder everyday.

I for one am very excited about this election! We have 2 very good Democratic candidates running for the highest office in the United States, both who are intelligent and will be able to move this country forward. It isn unfortunately that we have so many "haters" out there. I believe that Sen. Clinton is just as qualified to run this country as Sen. Obama and vica verse. It is unfortunately for all of us that the candidate who will be nominated to represent the Democratic party MUST receive only 2000+ votes from selected delegates. What about the millions of votes that it appears does not count. I think it is time that we took a very serious look at our Constitution regarding voting, delegates, and the electoral college. How many are even aware of exactly what the Constitution states regarding the above????!!!

I believe that anyone who wants Hillary Clinton in office is obviously ignorant. Hillary is not the person that we want to be running our country. She is a devious, lying, and conniving woman. She will say whatever she feels is necessary in order to win votes. Is that the type of person that you want to be president? I don't think so. Sure that is what most politicians are like, but Barack Obama is someone that is charismatic, and compasionate about what he believes in and he can get his point across without being misleading or rude to others. That's why Barack Obama is the man that we need to run this country. America may be ready for a woman to be president, but it's not going to be Hillary. That's why I say America is ready to take the next step and after having Barack Obama as a president, then maybe we will have a woman that is worthy of being our president become president. In the end, to me it doesn't matter who is rallying behind who, or which rich businesswoman is rallying behind who either. I'm a white woman and I voted for Barack Obama, because I knew that he was clearly the main contender on the democratic side. I don't think that race, gender or anything other reason except for what the person stands for should be the deciding factor on who you vote for. I think that America is ready for a change, and that change is to have Barack Obama as a President, not Hillary Clinton. She is everything we don't need in a leader. She can't even keep her facts straight and if anyone would climb off their high horses and see what's going on in this political process they would see that she changes her mind to go along with each new group she sees, she just wants to make sure people are hearing what they want to hear. And if she gets into office, which would be horrible, she will not pull through with what she has been promising...look at Bill, he did the exact same thing when he ran. And if she was feeding him all of his ideas, who's to say that she is any different from him. Thus, Barack Obama is the man that we need to become the next President of the United States of America.

Barrack Obama's real father is a muslim terrorist and his mother is an atheist. Whether he's black or white isn't the problem. It's the fact that he is muslim. He will not say the pledge of allegience, nor will he salute the flag of our country, and he was sworn in on the Koran and not the Holy Bible. The Terrorists want to destroy the US from the inside out - well he is the man for the job. What is this world coming to? I guess everyone has forgotten 9-11. How sad!

    • Posted By: joeink @ 02/06/2008 11:48:56 AM

wise24yearold?????? you are the most ignorant and probably silliest person i've ever read from.. from where did you get your fact of barrack's parents? once i can type, i hope you could, there is a search engine called google, just type in obama's name or go to his website and read before you open that stinking mouth of yours.

    • Posted By: grammagram @ 02/06/2008 11:44:17 AM

You read too many fictious emails. forward, forward, forward, forward. You've been had. Obama DID place his hand on his heart as he honored our flag. He was sworn in on the bible as is dictated by LAW, His father is NOT a radical muslim. He is a black man who married the love of his life from Hawaii. CHECK your FACTS!!!!!!! wise24yearold you've been had!!!

  • Posted By: NObama4America @ 02/06/2008 11:44:44 AM

Code_2008: "most of America seems to know what they are doing when they vote". Really? If that's true, then how did we let a Country that was founded on rebellion from government being too powerful get to the point where we are today? Today, most Americans hate Bush and believe that he has been lying to further corporate agenda's. That's treason. So why haven't the people marched to the steps of the White has and removed him from his seat? Because most Americans are not too smart when they vote, and government is once again more powerful than the people.
