Most of these postings about Obama are just ridiculous. He is a Chritian, and has been living his life as one....unlike Mr Clinton! I thought Bill was a good Prez, but his wife is running on his merits, not her own. The only true way we can change this ugly mess, is get someone like Obama who is NOT a politician, but rather, an intellegent, honest, hard working man. God help us if Hillary wins.

Hilllary and all her talk just makes me sick. She takes a poll, and then decides what her opinion is, or what her position is. How many times can a person change her name? Lets take a poll first-then decide. Where would Hilllary be if she were not married to Bill? She is a player and only in it for herself. Why did she run for Senate in NY instead of her home state? She wants us to think that because she was married to Bill while he was president that that gives her the experience necessary to do the job. It be like a surgical nurse saying because she was there for many surgeries that a surgeon performed, that she is now able to do the surgeries herself. It is time for this Country to elect someone with the brains and integrity to do what is right, not just what may be popular. Hillary is scripted and predictable. She is more of the same thing. A politician who has spent her whole career riding on the coattails of others, looking for a free ride, and caring more for her own self interests, than those of others. The closest connestion she has to the average person in this country is that Bill has probable slept with one. The bumber sticker on my car reads " Anybody but Hillary".

I think that this will be one of the best campaigns in a long, long time. I am so glad that I voited my wasy and the way of Senators Kenndy, Kerry or Patrick Kennedy, or Caroline Kennedy! Sen. Clinton is just as qualified to be our next President as Sen. Obama. Both of these canadidates are worthy opponents and share similar ideas. It is difficult to think that 2000+ will determine who will be elected when there are millions voting.

I would like to know why in my home state of connecticut the liberals were not allowed to vote for the affiliates that they would like to vote for being democratic or republican period!!! It seems to me the voting is being controlled and is not showing respect for the democratic process overall!! I have lived overseas for many years and have exercised my voting rights by absentee ballot does this mean they dont count either!!!

Barack is a player. Getting all the young people excited with fancy words. Change? What change? What exactly has he proposed that is any different than Hillary. She is a brilliant woman. It is laughable that people think her husband will controll the White House. It is the misogynists out there who hate her. No wonder all these rap loving youngsters go for Obama. Rap with all it hos and b------. Put a woman in her place. And if anybody thinks Barrack will win states like Alabama in November, you must be kidding yourselves. The good 'ol boys are up to their usual tricks. Get Barrack nominated so the Republican can whip him in November. Aside from all this, Clinton is best and brightest of either party's nominees. Wake up youth of America. Don't fall for fools gold. Rub off the shiny veneer to see what is underneath. Hillary is the hope for America in 08.

Wow...that's exactly what they thought about Jesus...a young man walking around preaching about change and look what they did to him because he was different and spoke about unity, change and coming together as one people. It's amazing how scared we are of a new face and the talk about change in our lives. Well, I'm going to search my heart first and ask God to give me direction before I crucify him.

"Rap loving youngsters" , "The good 'ol boys" ... Such ridiculous comments, LOL!
I don't understand why people feel it's necessary to belittle a candidate or his or her followers just to get a point across. I think a change will come by way of Hillary or Barack. Though their path to change may be slightly different from each other they have the same exact goal in mind and that is to unify America not divide. Your comments are exactly what causes division in this country. "The good ol boys"... OMG... so ridiculous.

I am so disappointed in Wolf Blitzer ,Chris Matthews and so many others that are pullling and using their position to promote Obama. They give him more air time (free)--Last night Wolf kept pulling up each state with Obama's picture and with Hillary just a list under her picture. These guys are unprofessional period.
There is the possiblity that they are going after Hillary with the intent that a Republican can beat Obama easier.

The Republicans Don't have a chance. They have steered this country into Debt and War. Constant poor judgement.

Obama might not have been for the war. Neither was anyone else--but those that supported the President were believing in the reports and felt must move forward. Remember the President's approval ratings---the American public supported the war too!

Lets see we are going to make Obama the most powerful man in the world. He has had how long being a Senator? He really should be a preacher, because he is a motivational speaker---That doesn't qualify him to lead this country. Nor does Oprah's money! Shame on her--she use to be about the people.

    • Posted By: brendy63 @ 02/06/2008 11:39:55 AM

It's amazing that you mentioned the amount of air time that Obama received, when Hillary (whom I respect greatly), received more air time earlier on and Obama received virtually none.

Don't worry, they kept doing the same thing for Kerry, who was a loser from the beginning.

Been there, done that. Is that bad. Do you realize how much better the economy was during the first Clinton years and that gas prices went way down during his tenure. Ahh, the ignorance of youth falling for the one with the most bling.

  • Posted By: wheezy48 @ 02/06/2008 11:38:49 AM

As far as religion is concerned I would not bring up Obama's or anyone else. Bill Clinton is a christian and he still let M. L. give him head in the oval office of the white house. Not a good showing of christian values huh?

  • Posted By: SonnyAZ @ 02/06/2008 11:37:34 AM

Give me a break! Obama, not a true American? The only difference is Hillary is a true politician, thats it! She has NO experience as she says, just living in the shadows of her husband. She continues to speak of bringing the peoples voice to the White House, but rather, with her as President, the lobbyists will be the ones bringing our so called voice. She is nothing but a bunch of hot air, and once elected, will break promise after promise. She has been working on the Helth Care reform for well over 16 years, and we havent seen squat!! Get real here.

The country really is not redy to laddy take the office the president so to me is very important to take a man the office, is not important reglion, racce o color in the ellections

Clinton campaign? Do you get Hillary or bill as Comander in Chief? Although there is a movement for a woman a President, we need to stop and think. Is Hillary the woman that would be good for America? She's already shown an inate abillity to stand up against the media-hogging, slippery Bill. Our nation does not need to be riddled with another possible scandle. With Obama or even McCain you know CLEARLY what you are getting.

  • Posted By: John.Jacobs24 @ 02/06/2008 11:36:38 AM

I hear all these questions; Can Hilary run the White House? How can she do it without Bill, she won't be able to consult him all the time? Hilary CAN run the White House, she is intelligent with or without Bill. She has the experience as a Senator and former First Lady. I am surprised that I have yet to hear anyone mention the changes that Clintion (Bill) did accomplish in the White House! We may not have agreed with everything, but the country was in much better condition when he left. Hilary not only has the ability to LEAD this country through experience both in and OUT of the White House, she has the ability to unite ALL races and ALL genders. I don't think Obama has this ability. I want a president that doesn't magnify our differences and I think that Obama may do this. We need to unite America and we need to FIX America. I am for Hilary...all the way, but on the final voting day, I will vote for the most popular democrate....just to ensure that Democrats take back the White House! Unite the Fight!

Before posting any comments, please check your facts: http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/muslim.asp
What's sad is that people believe anything that comes through their in-box without even bothering to check out the "facts" themselves...

that is how the world turns. romney is also a good candidate, but he is not going to win because he is mormon. it is hard for a minority candidate to be voted by a majority who sees himas an outsider and potentially representing outside interests

    • Posted By: dinobot65 @ 02/06/2008 11:36:03 AM

Romney isn't going to win because he is a fraud. He is the epitome of a flip-flopper. His record in Mass. is not great, and as a venture capitalist, he put people out of work. For some reason, in desperation, the conservatives have latched onto this phoney and labled him the "true conservative". He is about as conservative as, well, George W. Bush. His religon has nothing to do with it, so get off off of that lie. Maybe if he was honest, and had true convictions that don't change with the political wind he would have had a chance.

All this talk about Obama being Muslim. Bill Clinton is a Christian and he still let M.L. give him head in the oval office.

  • Posted By: Chicago77 @ 02/06/2008 11:34:52 AM

Glass houses people. I wouldn't bring religion into this. Since you bring up the bible, I would remind you of the mass atrocities caused by other religions. No one forgets 9/11, buy you can't blame an entire religion based on one horrible event.

I want to know what kind of change Obama/Clinton are talking about. Penee, your comments are not well thought out. The average American pays almost 48% of his/her income on taxes in one way or another. This is absurd. The change these two talk about will ot only ruin the best country on earth, but destroy the poor. How about eliminating the IRS and incorporating the fair tax, were the poor pay no tax at all, except property and local taxes? The fair tax taxes not only citizens who can afford it, but tourists, illegal aliens, criminals who hide their income wiht no chance to cheat. Why wouldn't Obama and Clinton support this? How about school vouchers so that the poor can receive a good education. How about a strong military so 9/11 is not repeated? Nationalized health care? Name one thing other than the military that the government does well. If these two get their way, the poor and the middle class will have no opportunities at all, because their taxes will go up and up. Bill = Hillary, remember? "I won't raise taxes on the middle class. " The, "I tried, I really tried" Well, Hillary's programs will cost even more...which means the highest tax increases in American history...Obama is more of the same, This is not change, this is the same ol tax and spent extreme liberal position. It never works. Finally on immigration, your point is well taken. However, immigrants form years back did not use American free services...did not illegally vote. Did not drain our ecomomy. Your argument falls short...sure it sounds nice, but is not practical. Fact is, both of them are phonies...and care about one thing...their own power and controlling your life.

    • Posted By: penee lane @ 02/06/2008 11:34:51 AM

The fact that you believe a strong military will prevent terrorist attacks is just one of the 'facts" that you write here that is indeed not well thought out. Do you know any Canadians? Nationalized Healthcare keeps costs down for everyone, keeps their society from being as litigiuos as ours, which costs EVERYONE money, in healthcare, insurance, and taxes. You believe that our economy is strong right now? I take it you make either under $30K a year or over $80K, because for those of us in the middle there, it is NOT strong. American free services? I suppose you think it would be better that we not treat illegal aliens to healthcare? And I guess you suppose that none of them feed our economy by the work they do in our country that they are under-paid for? Classic, really. But the war in Iraq was to "free the people" there, right? I am not sure any Republican can give a convincing argument to all of these half-ass notions the Bush administration feeds you to make you spout such uneducated drivel.

Hm, you know, for a 42-year old, you seem to act pretty immature for somebody your age...

If you ever DID recieve one of thiose phony e-mails, you'll realize that it is all photoshopped. You need to realize that there are indeed racist people in this country and that most of America seems to know what they are doing when they vote.

Not ready for a lady to lead this country? What are we, Iran? or some other muslim country?
