Because if you sell your soul to a fabric then you would believe anything that contains reteric and seperatism. Dare I say... maybe half of us fall into this category

Many of you come on here and state ridiculous reason for not supporting a candidate that has nothing to do with their ability to lead the country. You attack Barack Obama simply because he's black with no validity to your argument why others shouldn't support them. If you want to be taken serious, then sound like you have sense! You spout off he's Muslim (which is clearly a lie, when he's Christian); You say he has limited experience when clearly his record shows his experience back to 1997 (You're simply repeated something somebody else told you or you heard without checking to see if it's factual); You say Clinton has more experience ( I guess if being someone's wife gives your political experience or smiling for camera when your husband is running around with every available woman in Washington, that would be good experience) Not sure how you could use that as President); You say he would not give a clear answer on how he would end the war, we'll nobody gave a clear answer on that. Point being, it is a difficult thing to answer when clearly you would need to meet with your staff Sec of State, etc. to discuss how to proceed. This is a democracy, clearly one person, although President, does not make decisions alone for our nation. He does not have the power to do that alone, that is why we have Congress. I would suggest that many of you refer to your 4th grade history books so you embark upon a little literary understanding. I think that it is ashame and disgraceful for it to be 2008 and we still have people who are so racist and full of hate that you still cannot move on from the sins of your fathers. Latino hatred of blacks is foolish, when clearly they are faced with the same struggles. I cannot fathom why this hatred lives on in the United States of America. I tell you why, because we are not truly united and do not think for one moment other countries do not recognize that. Until we can stop fighting and spouting hatred toward each other, we will never be united. I will personally be glad when the last generation of racist dies, then perhaps the young people will truly have a chance at being the United States instead of just stating it.

Well....all_about_truth....please explain 90% of the black vote is going to NObama....if not for the fact that he's the"great black hope".......Is it "racist"....love that word,by the way.....to not at least acknowledge that this group is obviously voting for one of their OWN.....but if "WHITE" voter's do the SAME thing, we are "RACIST".....get off your high horse, you moron!!!!

    • Posted By: julian007 @ 02/07/2008 12:21:00 AM

My advice; change ur posting name... swap truth for lies. U shout racism the moment Hussein is confronted, u may be able to pull this off now, but it wont work with the Republicans this fall, if Hussein is the nominee. Take ur united sermon to Hussein's wife; Michelle who has said she would not be campaigning for Hillary if she gets the nomination.

Running for job as President of The United States & having a real chance at getting there . He has :and is doing very much 4 Americia not
    just Black-America julian007=AKA PERKAR-HEAD

  • Posted By: terravista @ 02/06/2008 10:36:32 PM

obama has done nothing in his life for poor races outside of blacks - he is not a true democrat - he only want s to be the first black presiodent - go CLINTON

    • Posted By: Mastersockmonkey @ 02/07/2008 12:21:28 AM

Okay. Where are your facts that he has only helped blacks? Back up your statement or admit your ignorance!

    • Posted By: Screen7749 @ 02/06/2008 11:12:29 PM

You are a racist and further more Obama helps all Americans as well as Blacks.

    • Posted By: Aklamb @ 02/06/2008 11:03:20 PM

It makes me incredibly sad and angry to see completely unfounded statements such as this. Show me the evidence or comments that support your accusation that Obama's motive is to be the first black President - or why that argument would hold more water than Clinton wanting purely to be the first woman President. Shame on you - and while I support Obama - because of his stance and his character - I believe both he and Hillary Clinton share the desire to serve this country honorably, and for all its citizens.

Terra....YOU GOT IT!!!! Have you been to his website: www.tucc.org/about.htm
You hit the nail on the head..it's not about equality, it's about restitution and the
betterment of the black community only....IT should be a clear warning when a black
Junior statesman first says..."I am going to raise your taxes"...That means the hard
working middle class, who squeaks by, not the "hand out" minority..

  • Posted By: terravista @ 02/07/2008 12:20:48 AM

obamas health plan he says will be free and free ollege for everyone - who will pay for these things - white people whom he could care less about - hes never done anything for the white rce but Hillary Clinton stands firm for all races and she has true policies and not just a bunch of nice rhetoric full of what people want to hear but she is ful of what it will take to led this country back to normalcy

  • Posted By: Laverdadigo @ 02/07/2008 12:20:17 AM

I was thinking that Obama seems to has what-it-takes to raise lots of money in an extremely short time. Well how about if he continues raising money and give it to causes that help the needy, or for all the people that lost everything in Luissinana specifically black amewricans...I wonder how many houses he can have build with 32M in one month? If he is so interested in the"poor" of this country, I beleive this is the real way to show it...Not getting RICH but helping those in real need.

  • Posted By: Napachild @ 02/07/2008 12:19:06 AM

Love your articles and appearances on Olbermann. I would like to point out, however, that I don't fit your "mold". I am a 62-year old white female who supports Obama. I am an environmentalist (drive a Toyota Prius and have solar panels on my house). I am a registered CA democrat. Edwards was my first choice, but I don't think this country needs a third term for Bill Clinton. Not that I didn't like him, he did a lot of good things--but it was the bad things that have hurt us. NAFTA, telecommunications act, etc. I see the Clintons as corporatists and am hoping Obama won't be quite as much. If real change is not made in this country, our children and grandchildren are going to suffer tremendously, and we just might get dragged down too.

Like I said earlier, I'm a democrat that will NOT vote for Oboma.
And I know plenty of democrats that will NOT vote for Obama.
And I can find a single Republican that will vote for him either.
So, I guess it will be McCain or Huckebby...

    • Posted By: koolaidman @ 02/07/2008 12:15:31 AM

to Realbill.....NObama is trying to say that he's going to get Hillary's people, but she won't get some of us, which is a veiled threat that if blacks don't get their way{nominate Obama} they will sit on their hands in Nov.,,,,,90% of blacks go for NObama....RACISM,RACISM,RACISM....Oops,that's only if white's vote for white....this democrat will be voting REPUBLICAN this fall after Hillary gets shot down....

  • Posted By: confusedcitizen @ 02/06/2008 11:52:16 PM

I agree with julian007. Why is there so many african-americans voting for obama? In every other election their pecentage votes has never been that high. So i would like you all to explain that to me.

    • Posted By: need2change @ 02/07/2008 12:07:34 AM

Duh!! Maybe because there has never been an opportunity for african-americans to vote for an african-american. Wouldn't you think so?

      • Posted By: cmamissouri @ 02/07/2008 12:15:31 AM

DUh. there have been other African-Americans.

    • Posted By: prekrasna @ 02/07/2008 12:12:52 AM

Perhaps you should not drag this into racism.

    • Posted By: smaldona @ 02/07/2008 12:12:08 AM

The same reason why so many women are voting for Hillary Clinton.

  • Posted By: Realbill @ 02/06/2008 11:08:09 PM

I have NOT heard Obama give us his plan for the big change.
Makes me think that he has no plan, just a big idea.
Ideas are great, but are worthless without execution.

This super delegate system is a lousy system, why should people vote for these candidates at all. The policies of the democratic party sucks big time. They were not organized in 2000 (Florida), the election that could have been won. They could have won in 2004. They did not learn anything from 2000 election that elections can be too close and they should not disenfranchise the voters. Florida, Michigan and Supredelegates

  • Posted By: kylecurtis2 @ 02/06/2008 10:16:24 PM

my god some of you sound kind of dumb saying oh obama doesnt pledge... what does it matter anymore at this time day and age because it is time for a change. We are all getting tired of iraq. This election shouldnt depend on whether the candidate believes in gay marriage or not.... but how he see's america's future cause thats my future and this next president will lead us into the fight and into global warming.... this president will either make or break america's dependency on oil, and this candidate will determine how the older shall retire, and the young shall live out their lives. Thats why this is so important.... if youw ant to look at people putting their damn hand on their chest while saying the pledge of allegence to determine who the next president is than please just dont vote

    • Posted By: Mastersockmonkey @ 02/07/2008 12:14:06 AM

Obama does put his hand on his heart and pledge allegiance during every senate session. The video that started this was actually the candidates listening to the National Anthem. No, he didn't have his hand on his heart. He was singing along.

    • Posted By: egoodspeed @ 02/06/2008 10:58:14 PM

Pledging allegiance to the flag of the United States is indeed a very important thing. Can you honestly believe that in this day and age and given the turmoil that this country is in that our President should NOT pledge allegiance to the flag? Ou r(who by the way, pledge allegiance to the flag every day)rtroops are dying for a war that we should no longer be in and you have the audacity to think that the flag stands for
NOTHING!!! Grow up! Perhaps Hillary is not all that but she is certainly much more than Obama will ever be.

      • Posted By: justmeinArk @ 02/06/2008 11:40:05 PM

To eggdspeed, very well said..and spelled!!

  • Posted By: Krazyred @ 02/07/2008 12:11:38 AM

If you would vote for Huckefortress than you are no democrat.

  • Posted By: drvsrs @ 02/07/2008 12:11:26 AM

US Dollar is dipping down in the international exchange market. The election candidates further pull it down by unproductive and self projection avenues. Whe they get the power, they can further contribute to the ollar down trend by spending in promoting war in the developing nations. - DR.VSRS

OBAMA TURNS HIS BACK ON SAULETING OUR FLAG,WAS EDUCATED IN IRAN,AND HIS FATHER IS A RADICLE MUSLIM,YOU SHOULD ALL BE ASHAMED OF WANTING THIS MAN AS YOUR PRESIDENT.SHAME ON ALL OF YOU WHO VOTED FOR HIM.....

    • Posted By: Chi-Girl @ 02/06/2008 10:37:12 PM

      2GUNZTONY,

Too bad you didn't do your research because none of this garbage is true. You believe everything that comes in your e-mail. I bet you were one of those idiots that forwarded thousands of e-mails to your family and friends because you believed Microsoft was going to pay you per name. Read a book!

      • Posted By: Mastersockmonkey @ 02/07/2008 12:09:56 AM

These are all such lies. Look up all of this on any fact check. You are being used like a tool.

    • Posted By: doctoralmommy @ 02/06/2008 10:35:13 PM

You are repeating, untruths, rumours and lies. And if I was held to the reputation of my father I would have never made it to Grad school and to a better life.

My guess is you never did. (Your comments show an appalling amount of ignorance, lack of education and my guess is you also harbor racist beliefs - may even be a fundamentalist christian. I am a white mother of 2 with a law degree practicing 15 years. Ms. Clinton knew the war in Iraq was illegal when she voted for it - but the polls showed it was popular - otherwise why would a lawyer and supposed experienced foreign policy expert do such a thing?)
