While the two democrats are beating themselves up in the news, The democratic congress is screwing the rest of the nation by stalling the stimulus plan. Where is Hilary and obama on this issue and why are they letting the coworkers in he senate screw with the people who need the stimulous package, at least the loan limits increased so some of us can save their homes and equity.

I happen to be a veteran, a senior and recently started to work again after the mortgage mess, I was victim of it and now their the opportunity to gat back on horse and make some new loans to help the ones that need it.

And where is Hilarry and Obama and why aren't they putting pressure on congress to make this happen, now.

Specially in califronia where thr median loan is $550,000, it looks to me that democratic senators are proving the point of why we need a republican president, senate and house, even with the majority they still can't get anything done....

It all Blah, blah, blah, depressing.....

i RESENT BEING CATEGORIZED AS jOHNATHAN ALTER STATED REGARDING DEMOCRATS. I am under sixty, educated middle-class and feel that Hillary CLinton is the best person for the enormous job ahead as the leader of this country. She has the experience and background proven to be a leader for all people her track record is pretty good considering. I had never really heard much about Obama until he announced his run for president. He is still youung, and in about eight years when he has proven himself and reached out to more people so they can see who he really is, then we can talk.

Barak is not a racist, you are! Are you mad because because he is an educated black man who wants the best for his country. He's not only doing what's best for the black community but for the white as well. He does see this county as white or black he sees it as a whole. Did you forget he was half white DUMBO!

So many people either love or hate Hillary Clinton that if she becomes the Democratic party candidate in the November election, she will lose to "an any body but Hillary" vote. Before the Democratic party and the super delegates hand the nomination over to her they should think of her as unelectable due to those of her own party who will vote to seek her loss. This "any one but Hillary" vote will happen not because she is a woman but because she is Hillary Clinton.

terravista I think you are racist. Obama is mostly supported by White people, and you hispanic just want to take it like a racial issue. He's the best candidate

Rinnovato.....your stuff is not true! The latest delegate totals on http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/ show Hillary up 823 to 741. And, she leadsthe popular vote albeit by a small margin (1% or less)!!

    • Posted By: Rinnovato @ 02/06/2008 10:42:09 PM

NO! Your numbers are not up to date. Thats without everything from Super Tuesday calculated.
OBAMA 838 to Clinton 834 Thats without Super Delegates. MSNBC is the only one updated. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/

As a republican, now that McCain seems to be in the lead. I pray that Obama gets the nomination so that I can vote Obama for President.

Obama has the experience, the backing, and the faith to see this election through. Be careful of putting stock in either snapshots of moments in time which have nothing to do with reality, or allowing campaign rhetoric to drive your thinking. I have seen Obama speak long before anyone even knew him in Illinois, much less Washington D.C. He is intelligent, passionate about public service, experienced, and ready. Let's try something different for a change.

This post is to set the record straight about Obama not saying the pledge of allegiance and about being a Muslim. People it's not Christian to spread lies about other people that that includes Obama. Stop trying to mislead others. I think some people are just afraid because Obama is That Good, he's different and that may be scaring people? I don't know what it is, but it's not right to make up B.S. You can also check this site out, it shows Obama saying the Pledge of Allegiance and he does have his hand over his heart.

Good luck in your quest for the truth. http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/anthem.asp

Maybe these two could team up. One as President and the other as Vice. It's not about the color of your skin or how much money one might have. Big deal he might have Oprah's check book but the big question we all need to look at is Who is best for the nation? What do each of them bring to the table.

I can see why you're a Clinton supporter ; t-vista. The article said the more educated people are Obama supporters. Come on man spell check!!!

What are people thinking of when they vote for Hillary? Are they so short on memory that they forgot Whitewater and the millions that were embezzled, or the way Vince foster died and the stories of Hillary's crew cleaning out his office before the feds got in there? I think that Hillary has more baggage than Ted Kennedy did with Chappaquidick.

Report Could Torpedo Hillary Clinton's Prez Plans

Two Washington pundits are warning that Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential plans may depend on whether congressional Democrats can continue to keep Independent Counsel David Barrett's final report on IRS abuses during the 1990s under wraps.

"Prominent Democrats in Congress have spent much of the last decade in a campaign to suppress Barrett's report," columnist Robert Novak reported yesterday. "Its disclosures could dig deeply into concealed Clinton administration scandals."

Notes Fox News Radio's Tony Snow: "By all accounts, the 400-page Barrett report is a bombshell, capable possibly of wiping out Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential prospects. At the very least, it would bring to public attention a scandal that would make the Valerie Plame affair vanish into comical insignificance."

When he launched his probe in 1994, Mr. Barrett's initial focus was former Clinton Housing Secretary Henry Cisneros. But his investigation quickly zeroed in on allegations that the Clintons were using the IRS to persecute their political enemies - including scandal witnesses against them.

GOOGLE: "The Barrett Report" and do you research on your beloved Hillary. She and her Husband should be in Jail.

People are playing the race card, when obama is clearly not. Obama is the people in this election, isn't that what we always wanted. People are supporting the fact that he is a talented leader who has already begun a movement for all people. Hispanic are not the smarter people, let be honest here,,,,,,, or they would know it's obvious not to put a menopausal women in the white house during the *** war!!!!

    • Posted By: aluck @ 02/06/2008 10:02:32 PM

You're so racist and mysogynistic that I doubt either of the Democratic candidates would want your vote.

      • Posted By: terravista @ 02/06/2008 10:34:21 PM

hispanics are very smart people - say who really aren't the smart people - at least they work

    • Posted By: terravista @ 02/06/2008 10:20:42 PM

obama has noever done any organizing for less fortunate whites and would only serve black people - go CLINTON

  • Posted By: hellodolly123 @ 02/06/2008 10:33:45 PM

Obama is genuine and sincere, he stands up for what is right as opposed to Clinton who thinks first about how she will look and how things will effect her career before she makes decisions. If you take 2 seconds to look into Obama and Clinton's characters you will come to that same conclusion. And ANYONE who says Obama doesnt care about white people is just ignorant and blind to obvious facts. geeeez.

  • Posted By: Mazie @ 02/06/2008 10:13:06 PM

I honestly have all the respect for Obama .... but I have observed that he does not have the experience that Clinton has. And if he becomes the Primary Candidate on the Democratic ballot .... I will vote republican! Like many others, I want experience running my country, not some one who who still green, and "FRESH" and cannot make a decision. Obama (as Oprah says) is BRILLIANT ..... maybe he is ... but he does have the experience .......

    • Posted By: katmarie @ 02/06/2008 10:33:33 PM

I don't think that being a first lady qualifies one for having presidential experience... would you think that a woman, married to a surrgeon qualifies her to perform surgery on you?

  • Posted By: liv4fishin @ 02/06/2008 9:46:12 PM

To eddiewhere. Universal health care, what is her plan to pay for that. (ps, unlock the caps and quit yelling) Both candidates have that in their goals. The fact is, you would have to completely reorganize health care in America as we know it. How are we going to convince doctors nurses ect, that spent thousands of dollars to gain their education, that they are getting a huge pay cut? Granted, the RX companies certainly add millions of dollars to the cost, but also are also huge lobbiest. Mr. Obama, in the speach I was fortunate enough to see, has said to the people that the lobbiest's must go. It is easy to promise, tough to deliver.

    • Posted By: Len4Hillary @ 02/06/2008 10:32:07 PM

liv4fishin, It is nice that we finally have 2 candidates willing to change healthcare to cover all Americans....my question to you is this: Have you not realized that Drs. have already been forced to take pay cuts, by the insurance providers, medicare/medicade, and pharmacies not to mention having to outsource lab work to individual companies. and pay extremely high dollars for malpractice insurance.
Lest anyone forget no matter which one gets into the Whitehouse, all promises made will have to go thru the Senate and House for approval just as anything proposed by senate goes by the president. Go Hillary!!!!
