djonesss, what do you mean "you people"? What people are you speaking of? Also, what "something" are "we people" making of "nothing"? To say I speak nonsense and then you write an entire column of blah blah blah indicates your stature- a reference I make as a result of you being presumptuous enough to call me "small" and "kid". What exactly is it I'm seeing now that I'm considering experience? I don't like Obama. Never have, never will. Just as I don't like self-righteous, close-minded left-wingers with oral incontinence
and the inability to complete a sentence. You'll not see a republican attack someone as you have me. You would rather run the risk of appearing ignorant by displaying your distorted opinions than to face the facts that neither Obama nor Clinton has any business running our country. I agree, Obama is a black guy that needs help becoming president. Clinton is a white woman that needs help becoming president- no kidding, are ya sure? You have no idea to whom you speak. You should listen to people instead of automatically reading between the lines.

I agree but now back to reality. Keep it real. Keep it really real. We have a couple choices now and whoever wins can we at least agree to support and empower and encourage and "not ask what they can do for us but what we can do for them." Quoting the heart of a great Ameriman who was cut short in the prime of his life- God bless his soul as he reaches out to bless ours all of these years later.

As a republican voter, usually, I could care less about the Democrat primary... But this year, I 've been watching the races - and if Obama wins, I'm voting Democrat. There are quite a few of us who would swith tickets to vote for Obama, but the chances Hillary has are worse than the Chicago Cubs winning the series ten years running. That is what smart democrat "superdelegates" need to look at. The Clintons have disgruntled the conservative right, and are a no-hoper, whereas Obama is fresh, positive and forward-looking; as well as a fantastic public speaker.
Oh, and Bill Clinton, the most popular democrat in recent history, "smoked but didn't inhale"... RIGHT. And I've got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.
And as far as Obama's family history in religion - since when can you choose your family, or your family's decisions? What you can choose is YOUR OWN course in life. So, take him for who he is, not for who his ancestors were. The U.S. would be a happier place if we could all get that general idea through our heads - for EVERYONE.
HOORAY FOR THE ONLY CANDIDATE THAT HAS A POSITIVE OUTLOOK FOR THE FUTURE!!!
OBAMA IN '08!!! (Hey, it even has a nice ring to it...)

Wake up. What you mean to say is Obama would mold like clay in their cold calculating hands while Mrs. Clinton would take the wheel.

  • Posted By: LisaB303 @ 02/07/2008 1:37:45 AM

Oh, please...whether Hillary or Barack is elected come November...PLEASE let their first order of business be to correct the grammar, spelling and general intelligence of the electorate! Some of you would flunk fifth grade language arts. Come on, if you are going to say something, say it well, spell it correctly, use correct grammatical form and, for God's sake, know what the hell you are talking about. You just make yourself look stupid. Ever heard of spell check?

But I digress. Obama truly inspires me. He has breathed new life into a tired political system that has lost the faith of the people it governs. The time for change is now, and I embrace it wholeheartedly.

LisaB303, "The time for change is now".... I totally agree. Could u tell me where Hussein stands on North Atlantic Treaty Organization's plan for expansion? And while you are at that, I want to know if he's open to the idea of sending American forces to aid in stopping the genocide in Sudan, if not, what are his plans. Also, do u know his plans on containing the growing deficit involving our trade with China? I need answers to these and other pressing issues so I can join u and Hussein in CHANGING America . By the way, I know where Hillary stands on these and other issues that I care about, u see she doesn't just go about town screaming CHANGE!. She puts out her plans so in the event that she's elected and doesn't deliver, she could at least be held accountable in the future. if u can't answer this questions, then u gotta admit that ur a Hussein Zombie. Deal?

To lisa,,,,,,I wholeheartedly agreed with what you had to say until you went down the "CHANGE" path......No matter whom is elected this fall.....it will be a NEW administration. I'm afraid you are setting yourself up for a huge disappointment if you think there is going to be a radical "change". With the huge deficits incurred, americans voracious appetites for foreign goods and tremendous trade deficits, with China purchasing 20 billion dollars a month of our T-bills{over a trillion so far},,,,,with housing slumping so badly,,,,I'll stop right there....I'm even getting depressed....the truth is....Houdini couldn't get us out of the mess that we've created for ourselves....we haven't been "united" as Americans for a very LONG time{see Wal-Mart, and where those goods come from}.....drive down the highway, with all of those Hyundai's{but S.Korea puts up a wall against our cars going there},the bottom line is.....it's noticeable that Obama supporters think THEIR guy is some walking on water phenomena....my $$$ says otherwise!!!

I look now and if I have a choice i am spending more on American. i am a hypocrite and have done my share to let my country down but in my own little way i feel better.

By the way I have other questions, but I wouldn't want to overwhelm you, we'll do it at ur pace. CHANGE Wholeheartedly!

OSAMA Bin Laden, I mean Obama Been Barack is a Power Monger, and has a cold calculated stare in his eyes. Look in his eyes when he talks, just like George Bush, he has a cold calculated stare in his eyes and not of sincerity. Doprah, I mean Opera is nothing but a Rosie O'Donnel in a classier way and worries more about the children in Africa rather then the children in America. And worries about more blacks then the whites that made her the green. What happened to Equality? You'll regret another Power Monger in office. Regarding the Clinton's How much better were we when Bill Clinton was in economically? Look at the National Deficit since the Power Monger George Bushwhacker has been in. I voted for Al Gore and then John Kerry, anything to keep a cold calculated Power Monger out of office. Do You remember when Jeb Bush Illegally closed the poles in Florida early and was never investigated or prosecuted, and Chaney shot somebody while hunting and was never investigated or prosecuted for reckless endangerment, you would have been, trust me. Regarding the Clinton's... Just remember, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. There's a war in Kenya going on forever, and the first thing Oboma will do is send troops over there to stick our nose in somebody else's business again to try to solve somebody else's problems because his father has ties there. He's like a preschooler in politics "Knows Nothing" about running a country, and "Knows Nothing" about the other worlds leaders, he's never met with them, he only knows just about what you know "NOTHING" So why don't you run for President? The Hillary / Bill team already ran the country, well think about how much better the country was economically. Oboma has 1 year in the senate of total politics, and for the Kennedy's to endorse him is no big deal, Royalty? Come on a drunken mistress killing (ok he let her drown) thinks he runs the world, "Lame Ted"? endorses him, is a national joke. All the good Kennedy's are deceased and we're left with the wannabe's. The media reports all the facts? "There a Joke Too". Oboma started the badmouthing about Hillary, so Bill and Hillary retaliated, to defend them selves, same thing as if you hit me. I'll hit you harder. bigger, better, otherwise don't start and the cry about it for the sympathy from the mental midgets to come to your aid. and it's not about race? "B.S". Oprah is putting allot of her egg$ in one basket. You voted for Bush too didn't you? "Your Votes Are Our Future" Hey Country you did a great job with voting Bush in and then voting him in again? Go ahead and use your some more common sense and play with your new toy, that may be hazardous to our future. Take the chance if you have nothing to lose, Haven't you lost enough?

Well, we shall see.....NObama has a bunch of you snowballed......innocence of youth perhaps.....well, you don't know squat.....it will be a republican winning again this fall......Hillary, if she wins the nomination, will get zero support from blacks{she beat the "great black hope"}.....if NObama wins, the repubs. will not be as nice as Hillary.....he will be eaten up......nice going dems.,,,,,,,,,same old dem. party, with their idealism....and runner-ups!!!!

I am not sure what "change" Obama is talking about. Both he and Clinton have very similar policy stances (by his own admission) and both are very different from the Bush White House. However, I don't see anything from Obama that says that he can get Congress to pass legislation - and the more moderate Clinton has a strong track record in this area. "Yes We Can" is a catchy phrase written by a savvy scriptwriter, but I want him ot tell me "How He Can" work with a divided COngress and handle major economic policy issues that need to be addresses to implement his programs...

    • Posted By: cbaker31222 @ 02/07/2008 7:14:55 AM

I agree. What change? I've never seen a candidate get so far on so little message. How vague is that?

    • Posted By: jaling @ 02/07/2008 12:09:51 AM

EThe change his is talking about is a mindset change. Change cannot happen in the legislative and executive branch until some one leads the country toward the vision of working as one toward common goals. His change is about stopping the divisive bipartisan agenda that is making our Congress completely dysfunctional. His change is to focus on the needs of the American people in real time and create an evironment of transparency, cooperation and the common good. Sort of like the Founding Fathers. Do you remember them?

In History of the world's famous and infamous personalities to name two bigwigs such as JFK and Hitler respectively, these two have undeniably have loads of followers either openly or covertly. JFK and Hitler are the two most prolific and highly orathorically genious, with that gift of baritone voice and highly persuasive speeches that leads to two tragic events in the history of Europe and America, both tragedies have affected millions of people in the world either directly or indirectly, as an amateur soothsayer, I can already see that if Obama (a higly persuasive politician) wins the Presidency of America, it will create chaos unimaginable to the new generations and millions of death. Obama should delay his ambition to the next presidential election because the energy for him in this years election in the US is highly dangerous.

    • Posted By: clubclinton @ 02/06/2008 11:17:57 PM

I couldn't agree with you more and besides, he needs to wait his turn. If he cared about this country and its people he would understand that he is tearing this country apart. The Clintons have had loyal followers because of their past efforts to make this day possible for an african american to vie for the most important job in the world (the presidency of The United States of America). How can Mr. Obama whom everyone claims be a leader, a uniter, one of great character and who cares about this nation not show some respect for party elders like the beloved Clintons whom like I've said, have paved the path for him. He should be wise enough to know that patience goes a very far way. I am a person of african decent and I loathe the fact that he waltzes in and because he thinks he's 'a brother' he is entitled to slam a wedge between the Clintons and folks who've love and have been loyal to them.

Mrs. Clinton (non flinching, brilliant and wise) is to be commended for the strengh and courage that she is demonstrating inspight of all the challenges she is facing and has always faced. Oprah Winfrey, Ted Kennedy, Caroline Kennedy, Maria Shriver? come on ! SUPER TUESDAY WAS A DRAW ADVANTAGE CLINTON? I'd say YOU GO GIRL! I for one, will never be known as a rat that jumped ship!

I am a Southern white Democrat who has never voted Republican in my life, but I will be casting a vote for John McCain for President in November. I am shocked at how there are so few white Democrats in "Red State America" anymore. Whites are fleeing the Democratic Party in droves. That is the strength of Obama. The only ones left to vote in Democratic primaries are liberal activists and blacks. You will see a quite different result in November, believe me. Right now Obama is a big fish in a small pond, but the sea is about to open up. Don't be confused by the initial low turnout for the Republican candidates. The great sea of moderate and conservative white voters, when faced with a clear choice will make their preference loud and clear.

  • Posted By: ramone @ 02/06/2008 9:05:58 PM

At this point, the day after Super Tuesday, I just had a change of heart - or, should I say head 'cuz my heart is still in Obama's camp. All other things between Hillary and Obama being evenly-matched (and ignoring Obama's sex-appeal), given the serious economic uncertainties that our nation is experiencing now, I feel better about entrusting Hillary with the Democratic nomination and the road to the White House.

    • Posted By: mopar67 @ 02/07/2008 3:23:12 AM

How could you change from Obama to Clinton? It's not just about experience, it's aboutt he right experience. You changed your mind because of the economy, but Obama is raising a million dollars a day from regular people, while Clinton just had to lend her campaign 5 mil to be competitive and all her donations are from large interests, that should speak miles about proper managment. And I laugh at the experience argument. What experience does she have? Being the president's wife? Or the governor's wife? She is a junior senator, just like Obama, but unlike Obama, she has the corruption of the Clinton agenda behind her. I understand the argument that she's been in politics so long she has a deeper understanding of the internal machine. I agree but I don't want a president who knows the machine, I don't want a leader who "knows" that sometimes you have to say what people want to hear. I don't want a president who knows the power of money in politics. Like I say to all Clinton supporters, think of what's best for your country, consider what's best for the future. Clinton's running a clean (barely) campaign now, but what happens when Obama is no longer pushing that momentum? Do you really think she has the integrity to continue with clean politics? No, she's dirty, corrupted, manipulative, and although I'm a hardcore democrat, I'll vote for anyone else if Clinton is the nominee (including Huckabee, and that's a statement), and I think there are many more like me. Hopefully you change your mind.

      • Posted By: cbaker31222 @ 02/07/2008 7:08:05 AM

No offense sweety, but pretty much every word of what you said is just completely false. Hillary has been a Senator for 8 years. Obama's ability to raise campaign cash is not "economic policy" experience. I'm sorry, but your post makes my head hurt it is so WRONG. Do a tiny bit of research before you fire off such a ridiculous emotional email. You are obviously caught up in this Oprah fever, and not thinking.

  • Posted By: eddiewhere @ 02/06/2008 6:49:39 PM

NEVER IN THE HISTORY OF EITHER party has a nominee lost both CALIFORNIA AND NEW YORK AND GONE ON TO WIN THE NOMINATION, despite proportional representation by district. OBAMA DOES NOT HAVE A CHANCE BECAUSE OF THE LATINO VOTE. IN ORDER FOR HIM TO WIN THE NOMINATION HE HAS TO WIN TEXAS. IT DOES NOT LOOK GOOD.
ALSO MICHIGAN AND FLORIDA HAVE put a monkey rench in the whole democratic nomination process. THIS rench could cause riots in the future. REMEMBER NINETY SIXTY EIGHT IN CHICAGO. I WASN"T BORN BUT SAW THE FOOTAGE.

    • Posted By: cbaker31222 @ 02/07/2008 7:02:04 AM

I agree. Clinton is the way to go. The myth that 1 year in the Senate and good speaking skills are enough for President has to be dispelled. They elected (sort of) the inexperienced Bush and look what a disaster that was. I can't watch St. Obama play learn as you go President in such a crucial time.

      • Posted By: akenaten @ 02/06/2008 7:23:18 PM

Obama only lost CA because of the third of the votes cast in the last month via mail. This phenomenon accounts for the disparity in many states yesterday. For instance in NJ exit polls indicated both candidates with 48% yet Hillary won by 10. Similar in Mass etc. It is very clear that all of the momentum is with Obama. He will sweep the rest of the Feb contests and with money and momentum can win Tx and Oh

        • Posted By: eddiewhere @ 02/06/2008 8:50:44 PM

EXCELLENT point akenaten. I did not see the break down of absentee voting. IT reminds of the time BUSH WON in FLORIDA. AS MENTIONED EVERY INCH COUNTS IN THIS NOMINATION AND IT LOOKS LIKE HILLARY took advantage of every advantage. I REALLY THINK THAT ABSENTEE BALLOT SHOULD BE LIMITED TO EXTREME CIRCUMSTANCES. TECHNOLOGY ALLOWS people to vote anywhere in the world. OBAMA CANNOT COMpete WITH UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE., HE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO penetrate the LATINO electorate, it is too late.
IF HE WANTS TO WIN HE IS GOING TO HAVE TO GAIN GROUND IN OTHER AREAS.

The current President has earned the disrespect of the American people. He hasn't listened to any of the people or election results. He acts like a king. The feelings of the majority of Americans toward the President is due to his actions. It's urgent that we get the GOP out of power. With a Democrat Congress and a Democrat President, we will begin to heal our country.

    • Posted By: kcarizona @ 02/07/2008 6:57:13 AM

Last time i checked there was enough in the mirror without going after the problems of others. Yeah when you step out you become a target but you never think your own crew would be plugging caps in ya. i wonder if Our President ever gets used to people who stand with him and seek to destroy him at the same time. How do we have a chance in this country if that behavior is ever justified. So what when Hillary wins everyone else on the Republican side hates and conspires against her???? Oh I see lots of energy and power in that arrangement.
I am a registered republican and christian so you may know that i am in the minority of my peers when i say Go Hillary! but nothing motivates me away from my peers more than ignorant hate and disrespect. i think we should all apologize for very bad behavior, fix our own issues and get on with life. "Forgive as you have been forgiven" - Jesus' prescription for health.

It all falls under this strange delusion we are all under that if you blame others for all of your problems you can be healed from your troubles. My mom did this to me...... and therefore.... My brother...... My counselor......My husband.......and that is why I am so unhappy. Give it up. Cry babies need to get over it, life is hard and Dr. Phil is a big pacifier for suck ass big babies that have not yet discovered the "get it done" plan.

To Shannon01: Of course Hillary has self respect. You stupid cow! Maybe her belief in her marraige is stronger than you could possibly fathom. Can you imagine forgiveness? Unconditional love? I can't imagine a relationship without them. Try it sometime, you might be a lovier human.
And as far as women in general go....well I know women world wide who are extremely proud of Hillary's accomplishments....as a woman! Why don't you try matching up your accomplishments to Hillary's.....my guess is you'd have the extreme short list. What both Hillary and Obama have done for us, is show us that you can become someone...somebody, you can make a difference regardless of race or gender. It gives the next generation that much more hope. It demonstrates that maybe some day, our future generations will overcome the hate and bigotry that we still unfortunately have to live in. Wake up woman.....Rejoice and celebrate........

Don't listen to that rude, boorish comment from Rinnavato or whatever his name is. Your post ws beautiful and well written. It also speaks to the hidden reason why shallow, self-loathing people "hate" Hillary, because they perceive that she stayed with Bill when she should have left him. How dare anyone judge her marriage and decide for her what to do. It is disgusting that anyone ever got the right to get that involved in their personal life.

Oh no wait, they DON'T have the right. Anyway, good post, ignore the cynical, dullard haters.

    • Posted By: Rinnovato @ 02/06/2008 9:48:50 PM

Are you on medication, or just retarded? Bill Clinton has cheated on Hillary since his first term as the Arkansas Governor. The has three sexual-harrassment cases, and two rape cases that were buried by Clinton appointed judges. OBAMA has done alot for REAL PEOPLE! Working in communities devastated by Clinton's North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), saw injust and became a Civil Rights Lawyer graduating from Harvard... Taught Civil Law and U.S. Constitution Law in the #2 Law school in the world. Saw injustice in the laws, so became a law maker to help create equality for people through effective legislation in the State Legislature for 8 years in Illinois. Saw an opportunity to work on behalf of the people of Illinois thru election to the U.S. Senate for 4 years. Longer in Elected Offices than Bill Clitnon before he became President, Longer than Hillary before she ran for office... and he is older than Bill Clinton or JFK when they were elected. So, it seems to be that OBAMA has devoted his LIFE to helping people lift their economic status and ensured equality. Hillary is a Corporate Lawyer who work on laying people off, protecting corporate interests and note that ALL documents that Hillary worked on at her long-time Firm were destroy. She was the first FIRST-LADY to ever be under Criminal Investigation. OR did you forget to read THE BARRETT REPORT by independent council David Barrett. Oh, that's right, the Democratic Leader got a Clinton Appointed Judge to Redact 120 pages which outlined the Clinton's abuse of Power in the White House in the 90's... i.e IRS abuses and people paying the Clintons hundreds of thousands of dollars for Pardons at the end of his term. Where else you think she got $5 Million?

  • Posted By: sassyc @ 02/06/2008 9:32:40 PM

What does it tell you when a person who many of us never heard of until just 4-5 years ago can compete with the so-called Clinton machine? With Hillary, we may be in for real trouble. Since she is only leading by 50,000 votes, how can we not see that the Dems don't really want her?

    • Posted By: Phillyforever @ 02/06/2008 9:39:07 PM

The reason Obama can compete with Hillary machine is b/c of the media embrace of a good looking, well spoken, guy. MSNBC is owned by GE which has interests in Nuclear power plants. Obama is all about Nuclear power. Hence, the Hillary bashing. The media knows people are like sheep and will follow blindly along without thinking for themselves.

      • Posted By: cbaker31222 @ 02/07/2008 6:53:31 AM

Oh I'm glad you noticed this, because the CANONIZATION OF ST. OBAMA in the media is just gross.

I can handle a good spirited race, but the media has been absolutely biased for Obama, referring to him as almost godlike, and couching every single thing Clinton says in the most cynical, calculating terms. Its really disgusting to watch. Chris Matthews, Anderson Cooper, you are the worst offenders. I actually heard Anderson Cooper say "Well of course Obama is promoting his vote against the war." Excuse me? Obama was NOT in the Senate and cast no such vote. If he had been in the Senate, he would have seen what Hillary was voting, and done exactly the same thing, as he has done during his very short time there. Cooper also said that Clinton going to Florida to thank the million people who voted for her was a "stunt", actually interrupting one of his guests to point that out. Matthews has too many similar comments to count.

I'm sorry, but Obama seems a little phony to me, and one year in the Senate is not enough to begin your Presidential campaign. The inside wisdom from people who have seen him live and are paying attention is that he is very different off camera than on camera.

Plus, I hate the comment he keeps making about how none of Obama voters will vote for Hillary in November if she wins the primary. St. Obama, if you lose the primary, it is your job to put your halo and ego aside, and convince your disciples to vote for Hillary.

I'm getting more grossed out by this by the minute. I have been a news/CNN/MSNBC junkie all my life, but have had to turn them off more and more because of this appalling bias.

    • Posted By: Phillyforever @ 02/06/2008 9:40:28 PM

  • Posted By: doughertyz @ 02/06/2008 9:33:32 PM

Shannon01, I completely second that comment!! We don't need the Clintions to continue to mislead our nation! We are people and I believe the Clinton's see us (the people) beneath themselves! They will say and do anything to feed their own ego's. As an American, I think we deserve respect and honesty! The Clintons fail to offer that. So, Shannon, you're absolutely right, we need to pray we don't end up with two liers back in the White House.

LOOK AT THIS FROM ANOTHER ANGLE!!! Why is Hillary having trouble with young people, African-Americans, wealth people, and educated people? ANSWER: Because they are smart enough to know Hillary is full of Crap. OBAMA has MORE EXPERIENCE in Legislative Offices than Clinton; OBAMA has MORE EXPERIENCE working with REAL PEOPLE on REAL PROBLEMS! OBAMA was a CIVIL Rights Lawyers and an Expert on the Constitution, something the Clintons and Bush forgot existed. Did you know that 15 of the 35 years Hillary torts is as a CORPORATE LAWYER, not in public service. SHE ONLY HAS 8 YEARS, to OBAMA's 16 years! IF you idiots think that being the WIFE of a Cheating Public Official counts as Experience, you deserve what you get. Republicans, Independents and Conservatives HATE the Clintons and she will NEVER get in Office. And if she slips thru illegally, as Bill is working on the plot; They will NEVER let her get a piece of Legislation thru, and force her to be a lame duck. OBAMA is the ONLY Choice to move the nation forward.

Rinoovato - even if Mrs. Clinton gets in as a lame duck, better her than Mr. Obama! I think you had better look back at all Mr. Clinton did for America before you start bashing him as a "cheating public official." He may have lied under oath, but you always knew where you stood when he was President. Mr. Bush has lied so many times to the Americans over the last 8 years, they've lost count of his lies; and also people are not dissallusioned about this Presidency because no matter who becomes President, the problems are so great and unsurmountable, that they will not be able to do much in their 4 years. Sad very sad, what our country has come to..... no thanks to the "lame duck" in office now.

Dont get me wrong... I am not expressing hatred on Hillary Clinton. But the facts are the facts. She is not the most experience, and she has everyone believing she is a saint. She isnt! She has been under several criminal investigations. Being honest has a lot to do with Public Service. We deserve better as Americans. We suffered 16 years of White Scandals and I am tired of "experienced" washingtonites embarrassing our country around the world.

I'm sorry, what criminal investigations has Hillary been under. You're full of it.

I believe you misread her typo intentionally or are seriously slow, intelligence wise. She clearly meant 16 years of white house scandals not white scandals (what do you mean by EnYou? can you type "and you")

We all make typos and mistakes Oh, but Hillary calls race doesn't she?

What exactly was this "all Pres. Clinton did for America" I recall welfare reform, However I also failure to respond to Rwanda and the Balkan wars human atrocities. . He was defending himself and his wife from so many scandals, they made it very easy for the Bush administration to get in office today. As many independents have stated, they will not vote for HIllary in November and we need a candidate who can appeal to independents as well as dems.

We have already had one Clinton White House, it was corrupt, we don't need another.

    • Posted By: verapai @ 02/06/2008 10:14:33 PM

It is shocking to read all this hatred for Hillary Clinton. This posting shows how Obama has divided people instead of uniting them as he preaches. I just would like to know how on earth Hillary Clinton has harmed this gentleman/lady named Rinnovato.

And one more thing. Why do we Americans keep finger pointing at other nations saying that women are not treated fairly? Looks to me as though women are treated like second class citizens in our country. I wonder how much respect some of us have for our own mothers, sisters, wives and daughters. It is pathetic.

On one hand we propagate Christianity and keep harboring hatred in our heart for a great lady.

And about Obama's vote for Iraq, he wasn't even a Senator at the time of the war. Only the Congress members of Congress were asked to do it. And most of them voted for it. Did our country wage a war in Afghanistan whereas all the terrorists that blem the planes were Saudis?

And why did he vote for the funding again and again when he was in the senate?

Obama keeps saying that he is an outsider and why does he keeps getting endorsements from Kerry and Ed Kennedy?

And do you know why both these losers endorsed for Obama? It is not for the love Obama. In reality they are very jealous of both the Clintons who are of their race. So they feel that let someone else have it. And other thing is that he did not want Hillary to give credit to Lindon B. Johnson and he wanted it for his brother Jack Kennedy. Unfortunately, he was assassinated before the civil rights law could be passed.

It is miserable to see such hate filled postings not knowing the great work both the Clintons have done. Sorry to say that Obama's campaign is spreading great hatred. They think this is the best way of attracting people. Spreading hatred towards others is a projection of our own hatred for ourselves and please stop spreading hatred towards anyone.

Please don't brag about Jesus and Christianity and spread hatred against others.

This is not the first time America has gone for the war. Why didn't the media go against the war at that time? Why did Powell showed aerial pictures about Iraq's nuclear site? So why don't you say anything about Powell?

Very well said. You articulated all the reasons that my boyfriend and I took part of the day off from work and made sure we voted for Hillary in Los Angeles, and that's why St. Obama got his A@# KICKED in California. Sorry, Oprah, its going to take more than your annoying, arrogant campaign stumping to get us to vote for your little pet Obama.

Hmmmm....it looks like someone is a litle too pro-Hillary that they haven't exactly done their homework on Obama. He has indeed done his job as a senator to be recognized amongst his country/state. Bottom line, no one is going to put their millions of dollars behind someone who's not worthy of a running chance at the presidency. Period. Go home and study up on Obama before you make your decisions.....trust me, I did the same thing to until I researched the man and what he's done. Cheers. : )

Sorry, don't trust you, particularly because you have provided no evidence for you claim that Obama is a deity. Remember what happened to all the people who drank the Kool Aid. It sounds like you're one of them. Sorry, but 1 year in the Senate and good speaking skills do not a president make. I

OBAMA, GET SOME EXPERIENCE AND HUMILITY AND come back and see me in about 8 years.

Hillary and Bill have stepped on our previous supportl by going against campaign agreements (such as
going to Michigan and Florida when no one was to do so) and using Bill to slam Obama. Michellle Obama
has shown herself to be "elegant" and more intelligent in this race. I feel that Obama has the skills to
help all of us who struggle to pay for health care and education and groceries. I am a 67-year old retired white female who gets a small retirement from a major phone company and social security. In addition, I have to work a part-time office job in order to keep up with insurance premiums, medicines, gas, car expenses and any movie/book I may want. I see young mothers/fathers everyday at my job who work at places like Wal-Mart, Wendy's, Sonic, Walgreens, HEB, Mall stores, who have no health care to buy
from their workplace that is affordable. A mother in my apartment complex works as asl lparalegel and has health insurance but they want $400 more each month to add her two school-age children. What is she to do, much less the mother who works at Wendy's. l These are not teenagers as Washington would have you believe. I am tired of too many people lbeing left out of the possibilities in America. Obama's presidency would help all cultures; I hope the Lationos wake up before it is too late. My sister in Virginia and I here in
Austin, Texas will work hard for Obama to win. lPLEASE HELP HEAL AMERICA and let our younger generation participate in a dream like we lhad in the early sixties. It can be REAL. From my experience, most of the laws passed by rigid, older, holier than thou white men have put America in the bind it is in and caused the great inequities in our lilvelihoods. It is time a lot ofl them went home from D.C. They are outdated and are no longer useful to the great good of lAmerica's greatl land of awesome diversity.

michelle obama is an angry woman with an attitude problem - and she bashed the clintons early on in the campaign when she said bill wouldnt have done what he did in the white house if she had taken care of things at home - michelle is trashy - we dont need that type personality anywhere near the white house.

      • Posted By: cbaker31222 @ 02/07/2008 6:36:42 AM

Yep, you are right on. She is probably the most grating uncharismatic speaker out there. Most recently, these were her words "Everyone is saying there are so many great choices on the Democratic side and I don't know what to do. And I'm like, huh, what?"

Yes, very classy articulate speaker, and not insulting at all. "I'm like huh? What?"

    • Posted By: cbaker31222 @ 02/07/2008 6:32:15 AM

Okay, before you get all worked up, get your FACTS straight. Hillary did NOT violate any agreement in Michigan or Florida. After the votes were cast and she received a million votes in Florida, she came down to thank you all those people for getting in their cars, taking time from work, etc. when it was possible the votes would not even count.

Second, Bill Clinton never said anything insulting about Obama, only FACTS: he gave a speech against the war, then later FLIP FLOPPED when it was going well and said there was NO DIFFERENCE between him and Bush on the issue. He then took his anti-war speech down from his website. So Bill called him on those FACTS, and told the world that Obama's FALSE claim that he was CONSISTENTLY against the war was indeed a "fairy tale."

As for Michelle Obama, you obviously haven't heard her speak. She is probably the most grating uncharismatic speaker out there. And she has insulted the Clintons PLENTY. Most recently, these were her words "Everyone is saying there are so many great choices on the Democratic side and I don't know what to do. And I'm like, huh, what?"

Yes, very classy articulate speaker, and not insulting at all. "I'm like huh? What?"

So before you get all ridiculously emotional over St. Obama, check your facts, because sounds like you're running on fumes right now.

Enter No, stnad firm white america - this country was founded on our forefathers thoughts and dreams - slavery is gone and racism is all but abolished unless you are black then you are allowed to be racial and vote strictly for a candidate only because he is black but if whites did that then blacks across the country would cry and burn stuff. GOP CLINTON - a true democrat needs to lead ou= country not just someone who has helped poor blacks - What have yo done for pooer whites obama? nothing - go clinton

  • Posted By: peace and love @ 02/07/2008 6:36:00 AM

The current President has earned the disrespect of the American people. He hasn't listened to any of the people or election results. He acts like a king. The feelings of the majority of Americans toward the President is due to his actions. It's urgent that we get the GOP out of power. With a Democrat Congress and a Democrat President, we will begin to heal our country.

  • Posted By: isaacanthony @ 02/07/2008 2:43:49 AM

We want change! Hillary represents as much change as W did when he took over. This isn't about experience, or who has the most experience leading, I'm sure both of them would do a great job, but. Matter of fact: WE WILL NOT VOTE FOR HILLARY and she will LOOSE the general election if she is nominated as the democratic candidate because we want REAL change in America!

    • Posted By: kcarizona @ 02/07/2008 2:48:36 AM

Real change in America is in front of the mirror. Each and every one of us doing 100% where we live and not getting so caught up disrespecting a man "W" who is doing more in 10 minutes of his day than we will do in a life time. Let's all be real. We have the right to cast hate at each other but it only hurts all of us in the end. How about this. Yea I know my dad is not the best or brightest but if you talk bad about him and I am going to pop you in the mouth. That sounds like the America I know.

      • Posted By: isaacanthony @ 02/07/2008 3:00:41 AM

"Pop you in the mouth" huh? Sounds like a high-school bully to me, and that is very much America's mentality under W. George deserves NO RESPECT from anyone. He's done more than any president in a generation to turn our country into a completely xenophobic military state. And that's not any America that I want my children to be in...

        • Posted By: kcarizona @ 02/07/2008 3:11:07 AM

You're right! A bully I do not respect but I feel like we as Americans are being bullied around by a media that is telling you that one man has power over you. I hear the message from the media too but I refuse to buy it. I feel like "W" is being bullied as we all fight amongst each other. I ask. Who would have to be elected before we could all behave properly??? It all starts at our own homes and at my home you don't talk about my pop with disrespect before you are politely asked to leave. Now that sounds better I must admit. I will not pop you in the mouth but please leave you who have enough going on that you can worry about Our President. What does the world see. I wonder if they see a disfunctional family that is blaming its parents for all of its bad behavior? It is easy to put others down to make us feel taller.

          • Posted By: isaacanthony @ 02/07/2008 3:26:47 AM

I "feel" like George is the one doing the bulling. Actually, I know he is! Have you kept in touch with reality? W doesn't care what any of US think. I'm CONCERNED that our country is going bankrupt and OUR children will have to pay for it. We need someone in office that's going to drastically change the direction America is headed, and Hillary isn't going to do that...

            • Posted By: kcarizona @ 02/07/2008 6:27:38 AM

Your right my brother. She is not going to do it. You are!! I am!! She is!! United flight 93! When the terror is on your flight are you going to blame the FAA or the Pentagon or who??? Blaming Bush is as constructive as a terrorist would want us to be. As the enemy plots we disrespect. My momma taught me to respect my leaders. Not that you cannot debate and oppose and vote for someone else but it is not correct all of the hate and disrespect towards the President of the USA. How dare we say such things. If we are all so much better why don't we run? Or how about we run ideas that challenge and inspire and let our light shine instead of throwing stones? We are all together like United 93 (God bless our heroes and their families) and we don't need a Patriot Act when we as patriots take care of business. Bring it bitches! United we stand! In your dirty hate face we stand! But we should not fight against those disrespectful terrorists and be disrespectful ourselves imho.

      • Posted By: isaacanthony @ 02/07/2008 3:07:24 AM

Hey bro, sorry to let you down, I'm not a fortune-teller. I do know that almost all of the Obama supporters I know will NOT vote for Hillary, she's just another Oligarch like W. That's why there's record numbers of voters coming to the polls: we see a chance for change rather than another Elite leader born with a platinum spoon in her mouth telling us what is good for us.

        • Posted By: julian007 @ 02/07/2008 3:22:06 AM

Good. Then we'll have a McCain Government.

          • Posted By: isaacanthony @ 02/07/2008 3:39:38 AM

I almost want that to happen. I think 4+ more years of Republican control would break this country so hard (financially) that America wouldn't vote for another Republican in decades. Either that, or he actually compromises and get things done, like Obama wants to. Wouldn't that be a pleasant change for the republicans?

  • Posted By: thick&tall @ 02/07/2008 2:44:04 AM

In my pervious comment I presented my concern if Hillary were to take office. One more I think that is very serious is, Our nation is militarially very weak. Because, previously, when the Clinton's were in office, they reduced the size our our military. Now as a result of our nation involved in 'police actions' in different countries, our armed forces are stretched very thin. If the Clintons get 'reelected', we may be weakened further. ***VOTE REPUBLICAN*****.

    • Posted By: kcarizona @ 02/07/2008 2:51:25 AM

Hillary is born and bred true blue American. If she called for a war and asked I would jump because that lady is like a queen of heaven. She is out there leading us and takes the cake. She will not let us get weak because like a good momma she will take care of her children/country.

      • Posted By: isaacanthony @ 02/07/2008 3:32:59 AM

WHAT?!?!?!? Where do you get this stuff? You're speaking about Hillary Clinton, not the virgin Madonna! She is NO better than ANY politician in Washington. Please do let us know if you have some divine connections that say otherwise...

        • Posted By: kcarizona @ 02/07/2008 6:16:52 AM

She is much better. She stepped up and said "Bring It!" Bring it man. I cannot get over that. She is the one who said there is a job to do and I have the skill, training, talent, and training to do it so yeah ok Bring it! She could be in office and sit back and watch it all unfold from the sidelines and get up on stage like these celebs. She is loaded set and never has to work another day if she does not want to. Why take the stress and all of that? I don't know why she would want all of that but I am sure glad she does. She takes it day after day, night after night, weekend after weekend, year after year because she believes in us and believes in herself and that is why she is soooo sooo sooo much better than all of us who just commentate on the sidelines. She is the real deal. We are just note takers.
