Not only have these sessions in Congress been a waste of tax payer money, it is totally a miss use of time for the people we elected into office. I don???t care, nor does anyone else care if Roger did or did not take these drugs. Yes I don???t agree with the usage of drugs in sports, but maybe Congress should address (or have the Justice Department investigate) the usage of these drugs in High School and toss the High School Coaches in jail, or better yet find their source. Better yet, maybe Congress should be working on passing a budget on-time, stopping companies from exporting jobs oversea, improving living conditions in the Delta region, cleaning up after Katrina???. What???s next for our wonderful elected officials???. cheating in Football, I???m sure we are all very concerned about this??? maybe we should address how come baseball players steal signs from the catcher (a form of cheating) when they get to second base??? ENOUGH!!!!

Maybe we should have a "performance-enhanced league." Players who don't think they can make it without drugs could compete against each other. Ritalin is just another form of speed and ADD is the biggest confidence scam in America prior to global warming coming along. When ADD first came out, it wasn't even possible in adults. And now you can have ADD your whole life (as long as you agree to take the drugs). Ritalin used to be a drug for dementia and approved by the FDA exclusively for seniors with mental activity loss (gee, how would amphetamines not help somebody with dementia???) and then became the drug of choice for 5 year olds (almost exclusively males, mostly above average in intelligence). Here is the test (not kidding, I've seen people given Ritalin for these reason): difficulty paying attention, fidgeting, inability to wait your turn, verbal outburst at inappropriate times, inability to wait for recess, failure to maintain attention to lesson plans.

We have drugged tens of millions of boys who had above average intelligence and stunted their growth forever and/or turned them into drug addicts. Thanks so much American Psychological Association and American Psychiatric Assoc!!! You've turn the rest of us into crazy people so you guys don't seem so crazy compared to the rest of the country.

It has been my understanding that Ritlan has been the most abused drug in North America since the mid 1970s why should baseball be any different than the general population?
