They call it "Medical Practice" for a reason. I agree. Doctors are so quick to judge and diagnose someone with depression because they don't want to spend the time or effort to find the real problem. Why waste time finding the reason for the symptoms when they can tell you that you need an anti- depressant for the reat of your life and get the money from that? I hate the feeling you get when you are completely miserable and physically so sick that you can not even function and are told that there is nothing worng with you exceot for the fact that you are paranoid, hypochodriac, or depressed/ stressed. We become that way after the medical "professionals" tell us this and send us home with the same symptoms we went to the ER for in the first place. I pray that this study shows doctors and all medical professionals to not be so quick to judge. And maybe, just maybe, a few will find their compassion again.
