Five Painful Places to Get a Tattoo

You forgot the best tip of all if one is thinking of getting a tattoo; DON'T. Most people believe there is little risk but tattoo parlors are like any other medical facility; Full of germs, bacteria and virus. Unfortunalely the the control efforts are soetimes slack resulting in opportunities for serious infections. Tattoos are an unnecessary "surgery" so why take a risk?

I have a tattoo on my upper back right below my shoulder, the only time it hert was when it hit bone. The rest of the tattoo went fine, just felt weird.

Oh and if you ask or use numbing cream, dont get the tatt. you takeing away from the experiance. its about the memory and meaning of it and getting it is part of it

I too am a business women working in the executive world with 2 tattoos, one is so large on my back that it literally covers half of it, and the other is located on my hip. My boss has seen mine as well and appreciates the time and effort I put in to choosing something that meant something to me rather than some silly cartoon character. I think the judgement that was placed on that 18 yr old was far more harsh than needed. Believe it or not I got my first one at 19 and I'm now 25 making probably more than 50k a year, so its you who should re-evaluate your thinking cause trust me, us tattooed young execs are coming in to the work world fast and we're brushing way past you sir. And hey some of those truckers make a hefty penny (possibly even more than you) so think before you speak and put others down.

WOW revtann - must have been expensive to do all that! Congrats on living your life! I hope you have a high-paying job that allows you to "live your life" and that you don't have to work 2 or maybe 3 jobs to pay for all that "living". To each his/her own, I guess..... For me; however, living life is swinging in a hammock on a lazy summer's day or seeing each of the 7 wonders of the world.... Enjoy living!

I look at that poor child below, and I think about my son. She???s not much bigger than him. Unfortunately, she and her family members had the gross misfortune of living in a country that is rich in oil deposits. The leader of that country tried to bring that oil to market to pay for his war debts, and 150,000+ Iraqis have died. 4,000+ Americans have died. 6,000+ service members have deserted. Tens of thousands of veterans have been maimed and psychologically scarred. The Iraqi people have lost control of their national treasure, so that they couldn???t compete with OPEC oil, AND EXXON-MOBILE JUST REPORTED $117 BILLION in FOURTH QUARTER PROFITS. I wonder how well BP is doing?

Thousands of people have been locked-up???not to get intel on al Qaeda, but to keep them from discussing how the CIA through the Pakistani Intelligence Services funded and trained them. Less than 10 people have been convicted of anything related to 9/11.

The founding fathers knew that an armed citizenry must be able to defend itself FROM ITS OWN GOVERNMENT. Right now there is a bill before the Indiana House to require every round of ammunition for semi-automatic weapons be serialized. All un-serialized ammo must be disposed of by 2011. Why? The criminals are going to make their own ammo, steal some ammo, or buy it on the black market. This bill is supposed to be beneficial to law enforcement efforts when investigating gun-related crimes. From a military perspective, if I pull up to Joe Bag-of-donuts??? house, I???m a cop, and I have access to info concerning all of his registered weapons, and every round of ammunition he has purchased, that???s excellent intel! It???s called an enemy order of battle, folks. So, when I breach his property without a search warrant nor probable cause (USA Patriot Act), I know what I???m up against. Maybe, when his RFID drivers license is swiped at his job as he enters the building, that info gets forwarded to my superiors, and I can take his weapons before he gets home. If his wife is a stay-at-home mom who pays for her NRA membership via credit card, I must be prepared to take her down too.

Look, I don???t even own a gun though the navy taught me how to shoot several different types. My point is this???you and I have a higher chance of being struck by lightning than being killed by a terrorist. We have a much higher chance of living into our seventies and dying of cancer than being murdered. So, tell me why are our elected officials screwing around with your and my freedom? The Saudis have been funding the Bush Family network for more than 30 years. Do you think the Saudis are now callin??? in favors? You know they are! They want access to that Iraqi oil worse than the Iranians do. Some estimate that they own 7% or more of the US economy. That???s about $910 Billion. Do you think that buys them influence in the oval office? You know it does! Their fair share of congressional representation would be about 37 politicians. Use your common sense. Who???s fighting and dying to protect their interests? Does your family have any skin in this game? God help them! Have you noticed that our presidents never define what ???American interests??? are? I???ll bet you dollars to donuts that the American corporations who are outsourcing jobs overseas know what American interests are. Just read the commodities companies??? annual reports, and pres releases.

I currently have 4 tattoos ....the tattoo that cause me the most pain ( and i shed a few tears )was my dragon which is located on my left side .on top of my ribs , Starting from right under my breast to just above my hip bone.. Everyone else (the back of my neck ,shoulder blade,and side of my leg between my calf muscle and shin ) felt like annoying bee stings! I love tattoos and even if you do get ones that you didn't think over you can always cover them up with one that you did think through. I know only one of my tattoos was planned , everything else was spur of the moment and i dont regret a thing.

Omar beheaded several tourists. Omar killed journalist Daniel Pearl for investigating ISI and al-Qaeda. Bhutto was killed for letting the cat out the bag that Osama is dead. She had to be eliminated. Congress will pay the Pakistani gov't a $10 Billion re-imbursement for War on Terror expenses. WHY? Is that why you pay taxes? i AM 44 AND GOT MY FIRST TATTOO AT 35. i NOW HAVE 6. MY MOTHER WAS MORE UPSET ABOUT ME PIERCING MY NOSE TWO YEARS AGO THAN ABOUT MY TATTOOS. I have two tattoos on my leg, one is a squirrel and the other an S.. Love both. The first I got when I was 34 (before "ladies" got tats...lol jk the other at age 55. Last year I got the brows done and inhanced a mole. Best thing I have ever done... no more missing eyebrows. Bless the artist that work so hard at perfecting this talent. THANKS TO DOC JOE IN TEXAS...
