The importance of religion and the belief in god go beyond the following the teachings of a man who decides to write a book and seek followers to his train of thought. It requires delving into the deeper, spiritual aspects of man. One must consider words such as faith, morality, and concepts such as believing in a being greater than yourself as a creator and benefactor of man, the concept of why evil is a part of this world, and the concept that there is a benefit to all mankind by the existence of a people who have dedicated themselves to making this a better world by making themselves over in the image of God. Your beliefs and your Church are seperate entities. Freedom of religion only extends to the point where it begins to harm other people. Feel free (and I emphasize the term 'free') to practice your religious beliefs, but there is a mountain of evidence that suggests the Church that is proliferating them is a corrupt, money-making pyramid scheme that exploits it's members, destroys it's detractors, and seperates families

As a parishioner of the Church, it has become clear to me that someone fairly high in the Church decided the Church was his enemy. He had access to Church-owned videos and tucked a number of them into his duffel, preparatory to his egress. Thus, the public sees his pirated, "leaked videos" appearing one by one. The ages of the leaked videos define the time frame when he separated himself from access to them. While establishing an identity outside of the Church, he begin relationships with the people who, he was sure, would bring the most hurt, who would maximize his personal vendetta for him. I would say this, it is not wise to tread on Freedom of Religion. You have your opinion and I have mine. But an attempt to destroy another???s opinion is neither just, nor moral.

This is actually a GREAT time to be a Scientologist, expansion and quality of services and worldwide successes are fantastic. As a Scientologist since the 60s, nothing I have seen comes close to today???s achievements in expanding and helping society in every far corner of Earth. It is normal for such success to spark resentment for some.
Scientologists participate by choice, always free to walk away. So, on whose behalf would web protesters be agitating?
Any group can be called a cult or its data twisted to appear psychotic. This is old news to Christians for 2000 years, and to Jews for 5000 years. Personal, direct first-hand observation shows Scientology to be well reasoned and useful.
The infiltration of pretended parishioners is also old news, tried since 1950. Lots of luck, but what for?
This agitation raises two questions. 1) What do Scientologists actually do in the society? and 2) Is any factual evidence of wrongdoing at issue? After exhaustive government review Scientology operates peacefully as a religion not only in the US but worldwide including among German states.
Why not just enforce the laws of the land uniformly? If Scientologists break the law, nail them. If they don't, live and let live with the same rights as anyone else.

Scientology is not a religion, it is a cult. It abuses its members. It should be shut down as soon as possible

If you see no difference between Scientology and other religions then you are deliberately not looking hard enough. Name one religion that requires it's members to pay increasingly large sums of money for enlightenment. Name one religion that forces members of it's private navy (Seaorg) to have abortions.
