well i have been working since midnight, and im taking a trip to the hospital because my mother in law is having surgery...other than that, the sun is shining!
Great 1 chance - have a nice day and I trust all will be well with your mother-in-law's operation. Onward and upward!
I'm not a religious person, and I have no intention of becoming a believer of any religion because they're all restrictive in there own way but North America was built on the idea that anyone is able to believe and follow what there heart tells them and these "Anonymous" people are trying to take away the freedoms of the scientologists therefore they are no better then these so called scientologists. What gives you the right to decide for people what they should and should not believe, I truly can't stand people who try to force their views on others? Get over it and start worrying about yourself and your own pathetic life.
The things I would like to post about orginized religions would be banned. While scientology may be as ridiculous as worshipping the Flying Spaghetti Monster or some sexist fearful god named Yahweh, Allah or some other name, as long as it does not break the law, it is not illegal. I only complain that the government does not allow all religions to have tax-exempt status, except those that happen to be profitable.
Hi Respectful. ow is the research going have you started to open YOUR eyeyes yet? How much advertising revenue did Newsweek get from drug pushers like Eli Lilly and Novartis last year? Braiker's article is called collateral support in exchange for the advertising revenues. The drug companies are getting hit hard for the murder and mayhem they visit on America. That is why tools like Braiker write articles attacking Scientology. They are paid to do so.
CEOCOMP - Why do you refuse to answer my VERY simple questions?
If you are indeed so free, why can you not read any book you'd like?
Or why do you need a buddy system within your own household? Why are you not allowed to live off-site? Why must you be in one of their compounds?
Comment: Hi respectful - where on earth do you get your data?? On the Scientologist ministers course is a study of every major religion and their texts. Have YOU read the Bible? Quran? Bhagavad Gita? Vedic Hymns? Rites of Masonic lodges? Well have you? Have you read Dianetics? Funfdamentals of thought? Problems of Work? Have you?
i agree. just please don't catagorize.
Scientology = BAD
i think most of us can agree with that, at the very least.
fair enuf...but i also think that everyone is always entitled to their opinion...even tho i was baptised roman catholic, my parents gave me freedom of religion, i almost became mormon..imagine that! ive read and understand what the bible stands for, and i cant say i disagree..it helps to keep people sane, on the level however you want to put it, and however its written..as long as you have something to believe in, but i dont agree with the need for a secretive society, in which case we could talk about the stonemasons or the illuminati...but even then were stretching.let me go to work saying this..life doesnt exactly afford us much hope, we need to make our own..if believing in something, whatever it may be, gives you hope...well then you are truly blessed. if hoping and believing in nothing gives you peace..good for you..but i am happy in knowing i am a good and honest person, and im not religious, but scientology scares me!
It really bothers me to see people going against scientology as if they themselves dont believe in some other stupid religious belief. Who the hell are you to point the finger when Christians have had a history of killing millions in the name of their religion, when Jews act and even claim to be so special that they even call themselves "the chosen ones" , chosen for what? and who chose you anyway?, when Muslims treat their women like secondary citizens. Dont you see that religion has kept the world and humanity in a bad state. It is because of our stupid religious believes that we are still waging war on one another. Bottom line is we are all part of the same entity. we are all part of the same Universe. ONE UNIVERSE. Not one different one per different religious sect. So stop attacking each other. Stop pointing the finger at the other people because they choose to live their lives differently. Point the finger at yourselfs for once. Live and let Live.
The idiocy of other reliigions, the evil of other cults does not justify what Scientology does. Your logic is utterly ridiculous - one should not criticize Scientology just because there are other thing to criticize? Wow - on that basis NOTHING gets criticized. How smart would that be?
shinta,
You're making a fundamental mistake.Scientology is not like any established religion. It doesn't even recogonize God,in any form.If you want to know about any established religions beliefs it's easy to find out.Just ask 'em.But Scientology is totally secretive about their practices and beliefs.Tom Cruise wants to extol the vitues of scientology ad nuaseum but don't ask him how they operate. Or what they believe.Or about the bizarre contraptions they use.Or how they seperate members from their families.Or how their finances operate.Or the crimes their leadership has been convicted for.Or the lawsuits.
Because niether he,nor anyone in the so-called godless "church" of scientology will answer.
They'll just attack you for asking.
Because they always try to shoot the messenger.
But they never answer the questions. They run from them.
I think we got it the first time...
It's pretty easy to make double comments.
Yeah.. this setup is kind of buggy :(
I have no religion. I don't believe in god, a higher power, an afterlife, anything. In my opinion we're a freak accident and when we die, that's it. Lights out. Anyways... let me hopefully instill the seed so you can go educate yourself further on this dangerous organization. Just scroll down to my last post.
I'm afraid that you don't understand the sheer magnitude of the problem. Please do some research and you will see the gross abuses of human rights (mentally, phsyically, sexually, you name it). Here is a real good brief documentary (10 mins) that breaks it down quite well and puts things into perspective for those who aren't in the know: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCGP-0545EU
Its a billion dollar cult who has spread across the planet. Freedom of religion I am all about. Brainwashing and hypnosis with the overall goal to dominate the planet? That's no religion I know of or accept. If stopping a cult interferes with freedom of religion, its seriously time to revise that amendment.
I can understand your perspective. I used to have the same view, exactly the same. You are misinterpretting our goal. We do not hope to challenge or discredit anyones belief system. We hope to educate the world on the dangers of Scientology. There is so much information widely available about the true inter-workings of this cult. I just ask you to even scroll down and see past Scientologists who have posted to this article and their tactics. This alone should make you go wtf? A quick 10 minute documentary titled "The UN-Funny Truth About Scientology" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCGP-0545EU
Sure it might sound insane and completely unbelievable, but I simply ask you to do some independent research on any aspect of it to confirm its validity. This is no religion. This is blatantly a cult. Head to www.exscn.net and hear it from the ex members themselves! They have endured everything from child abuse, child molestation, rape, and all kinds of mental abuse. Not only this they have openly "waged war" upon Psychological and Psychiatric professionals. Don't believe me? Hear it from the leader of this cult himself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfu7Sr50N7U - There is simply too much information right at your own fingertips to ignore this. This is why there is a global protest on Sunday Feb 10. Please drive by your local Sci org and give us a honk!! We only want to educate, not HATE.
Maybe the 3rd time???
well texas, if you believe all you will ever amount to is worm food, thats your choice. But that is a really sucky life. And yes, I am afraid of hell. Is that why i Love God? no. i love Him because He first loved me. I see evidence all around me that is proof of His existance. You believe that everything is here because of chance? talk about faith!! open your eyes and take a look around
I have a rich and happy life. I don't expect you to understand. We have no common frame of reference. I admire your ability to believe in God. I don't fault you in the least for it. For most people, faith is a good system, and provides years of comfort and joy. I am not cynical, but apparantly, the Gods have cursed me with an empirical mind. "God did it" is a lazy explanation for things we do not understand. You and I are not going to agree, and we are certainly not breaking any new ground here. Scientology vs. Annons vs. Christians vs Muslims... Come on, live and let live. Smile and hug your kids this morning.
The actions by Anonymous are part of an inevitable backlash against this criminal totalitarian cult which has been allowed to continue hurting people and destroying families since it's inception.Scientology practices mind control on it's adherents, telling them who they can speak to,what books they can and can not read, and they even have limited access to the internet...they live in a bubble. They need to wake up and smell the con!
We must search only for the truth, which does not include Scientology.
Eh well I form my life around what the Bible teaches, but I wouldn't come close to saying thats what a cult is...Your stretching your opinions a bit to far
anything that dictates movements by any member is not good at minimum
Why do these people always want every one to fit into their box? What a horrible thing to teach personal responsibilty. What dogs, nanny's what ever you want to call them it is time for people to stop pointing out the faults of others. Clean up your own back yard before you look over the fence into some one else's. I really don't want special groups to help me with my decisions and I am not a scientologist. Go home anonomus and be with your family and stop finding causes to protest only so that you can feel rightous.
You wouldn't be the first person to deny their affiliations with their own church. Remember Ruthie on YouTube? Posing as some innocent random 3rd party just interjecting her random opinion about how Scientology is so great and she has so many Scientology friends? What ever happened to her? Oh yeah thats right.. she wasn't intelligent enough to remove another video in her profile that she gave her full name in and she was looked up on www.truthaboutscientology.com and oh my!! SHES A SCIENTOLOGIST!! Funny how as soon as we posted a single comment to her video asking her why she wasn't admitting her affiliations and it soooo mysteriously got removed INSTANTLY. I guess that wasn't enough as the very next day her whole user was removed entirely. Oh, but guess what...... WE SAVED THE VIDEOS :) They're available on youtube once again, if you just search for "i love scientology". Classic tactics, just classic. You guys are so predictable its sad.
Anyone who believes that Scientology is a harmless organization needs to go to Clearwater , Florida where the worker Scientologists live. They march from their hotel to the downtown area several times a day with their military style uniforms. The Scientologists have bought a lot of what used to be tourist hotels and house the overflow sheep stay. They are not allowed to own anything and their headquarters is guarded by very expensive security. If you disagree with them or are in a protest against them especially after they starved a girl to death in the hotel, they will harass you. I'm sure it's different for the Tom Cruises and John Travoltas of the organization as they fund most of this stuff but it is a very dangerous organization.
I do believe Morton's story because I've long thought that Tom Cruise is gay and he surrounds himself with tall women to prove how straight he is. They are probably one of the most dangerous cults in the country today.
just a thought...giving copyright protections to information from the "church", wouldnt that invalidate the tax-exempt status ? i mean, well, why would a not for profit, or religious group, need copyright protections, or for that matter, want them? but one of the legal-beagals out there should know....I didn't think you could have it both ways?
we all generally feel a need to believe in something. i also believe that the human mind is a rather fragile thing..you can teach it anything, but to try to un-teach is a rather difficult thing. We have spent our lives being bombarded with religious images...(I was the only student exempt from saying the lords prayer and i was born in 1980) thats not too long ago...im not here to say religion is bad, if believing makes you a better person so be it..but if a religion dictates your movements and how you live life..its no longer a religion...its a cult..you say tomato i say to mato..its still a cult..
Brian Braiker's article is basically free advertising for the PsychoPharmaceutical genocidal cartel. He was ordered to write this by his publishers who are addicted to billions of dollars of advertising revenue from drug pushers like Eli Lilly, Novartis, and others that manufacture killer drugs like Prozac and Ritalin. Scientology is the target of this genocidal cartel because it 1) exposes their crimes and 2) unravels the damage they do to human life by applying the superbly effective drug rehabilitation technology of L. Ron Hubbard. "Anonymous" connotes fear of discovery - maybe fear of ex[posu Brian Braikee's article is basically free advertising for the PsychoPharmaceutical genocidal cartel. Go Scientology ??? mankind needs your courage and integrity more than ever before.
You still here babbling about your prescription drug conspiracy theory?? lol.. wow. Just so everyone is aware, this is the type of rhetoric Sci's use to distort the real issues. Fortunately for most of us, we're not easily dissuaded from the topic at hand. I again ask you one simple question, Mr. Scientologist:
If you are so free, why are you not able to read any book of your choice?
well placed
Hey Respectful! I thought you dropped out? Since you are into books, here are a few Good ones for you: Rule By Secrecy and Inside Job - Jim Marrs. See if they open YOUR eyes. And since you are into research, why not do some. And dupes like the Anonymous crowd are , either wittingly or no, accomplices in their crimes.
CEOCOMP - To every post you make, I will pose the same question until it answered.
If you are so free, why can you not read any book you desire?
If you are so free, why must you have a buddy system within your own residence?
There is utterly NOTHING he can say. I have yet to meet a Scientologist who can even hold any sort of REMOTE open conversation with me. NOT ONE. WHY? They're a cult, they aren't supposed to talk to critiques, they are only supposed to ATTACK. "Never defend, always attack" - L. Ron Hubbard
"The reactions of individuals and groups to criticism varies from grateful acceptance, or amused tolerance, at one end of the scale to a sense of outrage and vindictive counter-attack on the other. Perhaps unfortunately (especially for its adherents) Scientology falls at the hyper-sensitive end of the scale. Judging from the documents, this would seem to have its origin in a personality trait of Mr. Hubbard, whose attitude to critics is one of extreme hostility. One can take the view that anyone whose attitude to criticism is such as Mr. Hubbard displays in his writings cannot be too surprised if the world treats him with suspicion rather than affection."
[Sir John Foster, Report of the Enquiry into the Practice and Effects of Scientology (1971), p. 127]
Come on now Mr. Scientologist. Answer the question. Why can you not read any materials you so desire? Why are you restricted? Why must you fear for punishment by the OSA if you are caught reading something they don't approve of? I don't mean porn or anything like that either folks, I mean the bible, the Quran, anything that isn't on LRH's approved reading list. Does anyone know any other religion that encourages or even allows this type of suppressive behavior?
I would just like to say to anyone about to post a comment here, please, before you go on posting about how we're just expressing a hate for this particular belief system, please, PLEASE take 8 minutes and review this leaked video from the LEADER HIMSELF, David Miscaviage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfu7Sr50N7U
THEN post your views. If you STILL think we're just anti-scientology for no good reason, I will be amazed. Not only that but I really look forward to seeing how someone could justify such a perverse strategy. I hope you understand what he is telling you his goal is. Guess? World domination. It's no joke, he's telling you himself.
i agree with the statement by stiffler '..scientology is for fools with too much money..'
i mean come on, look at the leaders!
religions are based historically on peoples inabilty to deal with laws, if creationism was a fact, darwins theory of evolution would be false and science has already proved it to be right. fault me if im wrong but people came from apes, not god..and when we die...we get buried..thats it..were dead. nothing else. anyone disputing such facts would be a fool because science proves me right, scientology is a hoax..a way of people believing in something that will never be there..just like every other religion..the sooner people believe that, the better off they will be!
I say "bless you" when someone sneezes. Past that, every religion is a joke. People are afraid of hell. If it wasn't for that fear, people would have abandon every superstition and other faith-based values a long time ago. People think they are so damn special, that life has to mean something, that they will fully accept a fairy tale promising something greater. "Life after death" is your children, silly. We're all worm food.
I just think you proved yourself wrong, Darwins theory is like it says, A THEORY
Was it not Darwing that said the Fallowing
"To suppose that the eye with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree."
I think that anything this group called 'anonymous' is trying to say should be thrown out the window. The fact is, if they do believe what they are saying is true, then it is absurd for them to hide. Youtube videos? come on, what are you teenagers? Grow up and state your opinions as a man.
And please, no one make the mistake of placing this 'anonymous' group in the Christian catagory, because i myself am a Christian and think they are totally out of line with telling others what they should believe. hacking, spamming? get a life
a group funded by no-one needs to gain exposure by whatever means necessary..scientology is for fools with too much money..if you tube is the only means to gain exposure, im all for it!

YES! You must understand the sinister anti-Christian side of Scientology. Please get word to other Christians in your forums, for anons need all the help we can get but have foolishly alienated some religious folks methinks.
About us: Understand that the "anonymous is legion" thing is partly a joke (some teenager might've missed the 'joke' part), and we are highly aware of what was written in Revelation about the AntiChrist. Anonymous is "legion" is partly to convey that we are indeed numerous like you wouldn't believe (depending on your definition, we have anywhere from several thousand active skiddies/hackers/compsci geeks and over nine thousand regular folk as the core origin of Project Chanology, or several hundred thousand loosely affiliated through the internet, or several million active supporters and a few hundred million passive supporters...it's hard to tell). I think most anons use it more in the context of Roman troops, or as related to SPARTAAA! (The movie "300" has spawned a lot of memes for us). We're also fairly tongue-in-cheek with our humor (the Scientology issue is the first time I've seen anons actually being serious to the point of protests), so keep in mind that some of our "creepy" stuff is tongue-in-cheek. That whole "anonymous is legion" is partly a joke (the teenage crowd doesn't always get that), partly serious (our numbers), and partly to seem more menacing than we actually are (much to our detriment). In case no one has noticed, we've not committed a single act of violence against any Scientologist, with our most serious crimes in the media being denial-of-service attacks which were subsequently called off.
Scientology's occult origins: Lafeyette Ron Hubbard met Jack Parsons and in 1946 they began working on sex magic called "Babalon Working" to summon a "moonchild" (this is the origin of speculation as to whether Suri--Tom Cruise's child--is supposed to be a "moonchild"). Jack Parsons was an associate of Aleister Crowley, the infamous occultist who formed the O.T.O. (Ordo Templi Orientis) and was notorious throughout all of England. Hubbard, the messianic figure of Scientology, referred to Aleister Crowley as his "very good friend" and seemed to be heavily influenced by such teachings, which were later promulgated in Scientology. The organization's aim is global subversion until it is the only true "faith" while simultaneously undermining governments and operating as a business until it has enough power for SeaOrg (their paramilitary wing which includes a fleet of ships) and their Office of Special Affairs (OSA is similar to the Nazi SS and Soviet KGB) to take more control. If you don't believe me just google or wikipedia L. Ron Hubbard's history, OSA, SeaOrg, Babalon Working, Jack Parsons, OTO/Aleister Crowley, etc. or follow this link:
http://www.bible.ca/scientology-satanism-Hubbard-jr.htm
OR search
the comment from "annonymous" seems false at best..doesnt sound like him and ts easy to create that as a name..depending on what number you use, hope the rest of the propaganda machine is alot smarter than you and I..
anonymous is a collective group comprised of random individuals all bound by the same cause. you seem to not understand what this whole thing is about. we are everyday people like you or your friends. we were just outraged by what we learned after looking into it after the leaked tom cruise video hit the web and no one could understand what the hell he was talking about. the deeper anyone gets into researching this cult, the scarier it is.
That i understand..but what was said in last message didnt seem too scathing, i know that might not be what your reaching for, but it didnt sound too much like what anonymous was reaching for..
we all have our own unique approaches to the subject.. to each of us it might represent something slightly different.. certain aspects are more appalling than others.. it just depends on the individual. the imprisonment is what really gets me... that and the rest of the human rights violations... no one should be forced to live like that without having the choice to leave.. its pretty sad.
