My goodness; I must be really old or just conservative. I see this as a really bad sign; but if you think, it has been foretold. I do not mean to go nuts; just be aware and do not submit to such idiocracy (?). Please use your hearts and just remember what is to be. You cannot go wrong doing this. No matter what your belief is, it should not cost a cent nor be placed into a situation to be subversive. Please have faith; but in things that are truly from your heart, not because you follow cattle blindly. PLEASE be careful. Peace! Chuck D

I would much rather Anonymous use their mad skills to bring down Haliburton.

Maybe they're next... depends on how long this Smearintology pursuit takes. There are unfortunately so many worthy causes to pursue in this world, it is hard to have everyone agree on which one. This particular subject hits home for everyone because its in everyones back yard pretty much. There are only a few places they have not already left their mark in.

Look, the coolest thing anyone can do for a Scientologist is not to berate them.
It is to show them this site:

    http://www.exscn.net/

    Ex Scientologist Message Board

This is a safe-haven for those who want to investigate or possibly leave (escape) the Chruch.

    From its description:
This message board is for ex Scientologists to freely discuss mutual experiences in Scientology. It covers such topics as L. Ron Hubbard, David Miscavige and current management, auditing and training, Ethics tech and it's application, OSA, fair game, Clear & OT levels, Freewinds, and recovering from a cult experience.

So let's all try to be cool, understanding, and kind. Let's offer these individuals a chance to become an individual again, offer them solace, and most of all, offer them help.

    http://www.exscn.net/

From what I have read, Anonymous/Internet is not attacking you, nor your beliefs. They are after the recruitment/control and management techniques of the leaders and foundation. You are free to believe whatever you wish.

Just know that information/enlightenment can come from outside your current sphere of influence. Take the initiative to educate yourself, I promise you will suffer no ill-effects from learning. Free yourself...

Excellent resource. I also highly encourage anyone with doubt to go look at this forum and read even just one testimonial. If it doesn't influence you to help put a stop to this, something must be wrong.

Apostates of any religion are a notorious bad-bet as a source of beliefs of that religion. I certainly don't want ex-Calvinists telling me what to think about the Bible. All of these zealot postings of disaffections contain no real data. Aren't there any Scientologists in these discussions?

    • Posted By: respectful_anon @ 02/09/2008 4:05:25 AM

Scientologists are not allowed to openly discuss anything with people who disagree with their beliefs. Their main instruction from L. Con Hubbard himself is : "Always attack, never defend." Pretty great communication practice, amirite? They can't even open their eyes and read anything with a neutral objective eye because their logic has been [brain] washed away. It's sad but the more of them I try to talk to, the more it is clearly evident and undeniable.

    mexgrill,
Yeah right,it's all about um,"big pharma".But would you mind telling us about your scientology spaceships? Or that 25,000 year old nuclear explosion set off by a space queen that fused all human souls together for eternity?
No.You don't want normal folks to know about that stuff do you? To humiliating.Tell us are you "clear".Did you also judge your mental health using one of those phoney contraptions old L.Ron stole off a sci-fi B movie set?

All religions are full of "it". Scientology just has the distinction of being the most modern, in origin, of the many brain-washing organizations out there. It's all about power & money. Have you heard the expression "if you build it, they will come"? Religion's answer to that is: "if you write some lies down on paper and compile them into a book, and call it a religion, then they will come with open wallets" .

If there were no power &/or money to be gained from running a religion, then all of the churches, and their child molesting figure-heads would close up shop & go get real jobs.

Let's all go out to Starbucks and spill hot coffee on each other. That would be a step up from the kind of postings I see here.

If all these religeons are praying to God for help then why is the world in such bad condition.

@ bosbeano: Much of our info on Scientology has come from the numerous court cases ex-Scientologists and the families of Scientology members who have died while working in their Orgs. These documents have been used as evidence in legal cases, and are thusly often a matter of public record. But don't take our word for it. Visit www.xenu.net & www.whyaretheydead.net - those sites have the information and the documentation you're looking for, and we can't fit into these comments

    peggo,
Actually scalding disobiedient scientology members with hot coffee is not unusual. So is tying them to a chair for days and denying them food and water.
Not kiddin'.Just check out testimonials from former members who managed to get out.

Looks to me like folks are finally getting curious about this con-cult.I've know their "theories" were laughable when I encountered them in the early 70's here in New York. And I was only 18.
Once the public gets curious and their totally bizarre and fraudulant practices are exposed by journalists the jig will be up.The so-called "church" [an athiest church?] will be finished.
Tom Cruise? The man is obviously wound tighter than a straight jacket and mentally a few slices short of a full sandwich. Even his smile is defensive. He always looks to me like a guy on the edge.I think he's going to commit suicide someday when this whole scientology thing blows up.He'll leave a note blaming a "cruel world" when the truth is he'll just have finally found the excuse to end his uptight, miserable existence.
    He's a no-talent anyway.
    So who cares?

  • Posted By: mksl1 @ 02/09/2008 2:43:48 AM

    Hey CEOCOMP,
Yeah right. It's all about conspiracies right?
Meanwhile how about tellin' us about scientology's theories on space ships, space queens, ancient nuclear explosions and how to "clear" the mnd with useless embarassing contraptions straight out of a disney film?
You guys don't want the public knowing about that nuttiness do you? Because it obviously humiliating.I don't blame you bubba.I wouldn"t want anyone to know I was that nuts eiher.
Well, like they say in West Texas- Good luck with it!

Plastered on grin tc is almost as big a loser as michael jackson. Look at all the scientology freaks. John revolta is just as bad. If that is the best scientology can use as examples of their members then it is a pretty pathetic (using the term loosely) religion.

For a heavy dose of perspective on where Scientology came from you can't beat "The Bare Faced Messiah":
    http://www.clambake.org/archive/books/bfm/bfm01.htm

For one of the best accounts from a former insider read "A Piece of Blue Sky":
    http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/Library/Shelf/atack/

For why people get worked up watch "The Dark Side of Scientology":
    http://www.xenutv.com/int/darkside.htm

    Or "Missing in Happy Valley":
    http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2742505831051424517

Or read "The Scandal of Scientology":

Yo! Legion or whatever you are. Where were you! If you are defending your self from attack by waiting for the agressors to send you viruses.. OK Scientologists may have that understanding. Or they are too old to know what to do.
