THESE STATEMENTS HAVE NOT BEEN DENIED BY SCIENTOLOGY OFFICIALS.

WHAT IS THE BASIS OF EVERY RELIGION ETERNAL LIFE.

THIS IS THE REASON SO MANY RICH AND POWERFUL STARS ARE JOINING SCIENTOLOGY.
SCIENTOLOGY OFFERS TO FREEZE YOUR BODY AND BRING YOU BACK AT ANOTHER TIME.
MICHAEL JACKSON IS PART OF THIS.
EVERYONE IS LOOKING FOR FORMULAS TO LIVE LONGER
SCIENTOLOGY OFFERS A WIDE VARIETY OF DRUGS. MANY AFFECT THE NERVOUS SYSTEM, ASK TOM CRUISE
HUMANS ARE EVOLVING AND SO ARE RELIGIONS.
NO LONGER IS IT ENOUGH FOR US HUMANS TO BELIEVE IN AN OTHER LIFE AFTER DEATH IN SOME SPIRIT WORLD.

WE WANT IMMORTALITY HERE ON EARTH AND WE WANT TO LIVE FOR AT LEAST A COUPLE HUNDRED YEARS. THIS IS WHY SCIENTOLOGY IS SO POPULAR AMONG THE SUPER RICH.
THEY HAVE THE MONEY TO FUND THEIR BIOLOGICAL RESEARCH.
IN RETURN FOR ETERNAL LIFE HERE ON EARTH SCIENTOLOGY HAS BEEN ABLE TO INDOCTRINATE THE "BIGGEST" AND RICHEST STARS.

Utter crap. Michael Jackson is an idiot and no part of Scientology. Scientologists do not use drugs, and do not believe in freezing anything -- get your facts straight.

read all of the posts by the person calling himself ???Lobotomy??? found in the comments to the

Scientology recruiters called Registrars are responsible for enrolling members for services. They frequently use hard-sell techniques, and they pressure members to pay for services far in advance as a demonstration of commitment to Scientology. These advance payments often run to many thousands of dollars, with members pushed to drain savings and retirement accounts, max out credit cards and even sell their homes or businesses and hand over proceeds to the church.

These people were given free will, just like the rest of us. I blow money on clothes, so should I start hacking The Buckle's website because the salesperson convinced me to buy some jeans that I later regretted?

      • Posted By: DrZook @ 02/09/2008 6:19:07 PM

Did The Buckle charge you $5,000 for your jeans? Did they demand that you buy jeans from no other store than The Buckle? Did they tell you that your friends and family were "suppressive persons" because they said the jeans did not suit you? Did The Buckle demand that you work for them for the rest of your life for no pay? If your jeans turn out to be so ill-fitting that they give you sores on your legs, did they tell you that you must continue to wear them or you will be doomed for all eternity?

lol, sounds like high school peer pressure. I was required to go to high school, but no one is required to become a Scientologist. I realize that there are people who've had bad experiences with Scientology, but no one has a gun to their head.

Maybe DrZook has a gun to his head? I can't see any reason why Lobotomologists would practice Zookology even though it cant be proven and tested to cure anyone.

You do have a point. The less easily influenced left the Church of Scientology long ago and now practice the philosophy as "protestant" Scientologists or 'freezoners". You could also argue that people could "just say no' to crack cocaine or crystal meth as Nancy Reagan advised. However, note that most countries do make laws against dealing drugs. Why bother doing that, if we all have free will and "can just say no"? My opinion is that some people are weaker than others and while we cannot stop people from being victims of the sly and deceitful, as a society we generally recognize that it is up the the decent majority to make the destructive work of the criminal minority as difficult as possible.

Hubbards own wife went to prison over this along with eight other high ranking membes of scientology. Whats next,? Are you going to try and tell us Hubbard wasn't hiding from a four year prison conviction at the time of his death? If you don't use the net and google may I ask just where you get your facts from?

How is this news? I just checked out the video on youtube and while I'm against Scientology, "anonymous" make themselves look even creepier than them. You can tell this is written by very young people and I can think of five other more worthy of news space than this. What's next? "Church pamphlet left on bus seat sat on"? Come on Newsweek!

Tom Cruise is the only reason need NOT to get involved with Scientology.

You are either a Scientologist or a very misguided and ignorant poster. Please take five minutes and do a little research.

No blasphemy can mar my name
    so blaspheme if you will
so pure it is that Name
that no speakingness can soil it.

Appoint amongst you some small few
to tell lies and invent wicked things
and spread out infamy abroad and within
and to stand before our altars and insult and lie
and tell evil rumors about us all.

For all is Life to Buddha.

    All is Life.

No blasphemy now can mar the name of Buddha, Lord.

    Each revilement is a prayer
for just the mention of the name
    then cleanses all.

    Mention the Name
and do not worry if you think some stray
    condemning thought or doubt.

    Mention the Name
its holiness is such it can withstand
    all bludgeoning.

    Consult with prayer
be calm and you will know.

    You could know of yourselves
all that of which I speak
and so don't argue or dispute when some come up to you
    and say another thing
for if they knew all truly
they would then say what I say
    and what Lord Buddha said.

    Be attentive now.

You have preserved only a bit
    of what Lord Buddha said.

    He said much more
but then there came men who said other things
and changed a piece of this, a bit of that,
    and so we strayed.

Censor not free speech and censor not free thought
but recall in all these twenty-five centuries
none came and spoke the Great Lessons again
nor added to them then to make you free.

I speak then so you can agree.

So speak and think whatever you will
but come again to these Lessons
if you stray and become lost
and slaves as you have been.

With these and your agreement to
we now can build the Eastern and the Western worlds
into one great brotherhood of Man.

    Excerpt from Hymn of Asia
    an Eastern Poem
    by L. Ron Hubbard.

A possible solution for Tom Cruise's quarrel with the Bundesrepublik Deutschlands: Maybe he can send the galactic tyrant Xenu to exile Chancelor Andrea Merkel into a volcano to be vaporized by bombs.

    This guys a freak.

I was at the flee market last weekend and someone offered me a free stress test so i said sure why not, and the guy had this little electric machine, and i hold on to it and he says think about someone that you love and boom the needle pins way over and he says i'm stressed out, (i had thought about my husband of 25 years who passed away 2 years ago.) so then he tries to pimp the latest s. book on me. well i have to tell you i told him the only book i need is the word and its FREE. the word has served me for 53 years and has given me all the enlightenment i can take ;-)) he shut up quick because you can't argue against the word and he knew it. sneeky approach he had but i saw right though it and will never understand how folks fall for that garbage.

PhysicsFrog - I cannot comment about the current heierarchy of the cult, however I do know for a fact that they are not openly racist. Jesse Prince was formerly #2 in command of the whole organization. He is definitely black. You can see Jesse showing the world what Scientology is all about now in many videos. One that comes to mind is their purposed replacement for Psychology and Psychiatrics. Go to google video and query "scientology training" and view the very first video. This is an "auditing" session straight from the horses mouth. Obviously it is a brainwashing and hypnosis technique.

And another good link for anyone involved in the church itself, please watch this. This video has nothing to do with Scientology at all and is SOLELY about how one can go about forming a cult. It is EERILY identical to every single thing they do from the moment you take your first step into one of their doors.

You are correct Respectful Anon, the Church of Scientology is not racist in any way. They will gladly cheat ANYONE out of their money, regardless of their skin color.
