Scientology is the new Third Reich.. People read, teach yourselves.. The news doesnt tell you anything except in their own biased opinions..

  • Posted By: NoUserName @ 02/09/2008 12:28:56 AM

I think "Scientolocaust" is a kind of offensive and troll like term.

I sincerely hope this turns into a Scientolocaust.

texmcgraw - I don't remember seeing anything that said Anonymous sent letters of white powder to anyone. The news reports all say that the group stated they didn't do it, and I haven't seen anything from the FBI or Homeland Security naming any suspects. I don't think it's okay to blame people for things without any proof, it kind of goes against the laws of the US. As for the DDOS "attack" things? Didn't the CoS say they had a lot of traffic lately? I read something that said they are encouraging all the new people to look at their site. If Anonymous people did do that, isn't it just like a bunch of people trying to see a website so it doesn't load because it's busy? Is it illegal? And aren't they not doing things like that anymore Any Anonymous people here know?

The poor fools who fall for this crap Hubband created would do better to believe in the cosmology that J.R.R. Tolkien created in "The Lord of the Rings". Tolkien's wizards are immortal, and they can be folowers of either Light or Darkness. In any case, Tolkiien's myths are far more ineresting and more true to life than Hubbard's sci-fi nonsense.

Intolerance? no, it's not. Peaceful protests are not intolerance. Want so see something that is?

"ENEMY SP Order. Fair game. May be deprived of property or injured by any means by any Scientologist without any discipline of the Scientologist. May be tricked, sued or lied to or destroyed."

For a heavy dose of perspective on where Scientology came from you can't beat "The Bare Faced Messiah":

For one of the best accounts from a former insider read "A Piece of Blue Sky":

For why people get worked up watch "The Dark Side of Scientology":

    Or "Missing in Happy Valley":

Or read "The Scandal of Scientology":

Scientology IS, WAS, and always WILL BE a CULT! It is NOT a church, nor should it be afforded "non-profit" stutus, either. Rather, it is a for-profit organization hiding under a church vail. If not, then why would they charge people to join the so-called "church" and then continue to extort monies from their membership? Scientologists are brainwashed, gullible, and naive. In addition, they are programmed with Scientology non-sense and propaganda. The celebs join to save HUGE amounts of money on their tax returns. Half the people get involved to take advantage of "church" entertainment industry opportunities. None of this is new; the L.A. Times did an expose on the cult over a decade ago...and they hit the target when they exposed them.

To the many adherents of Scientology, it is their religion. Calling it something else does not make it that. Get over it, you sanctimonious parsnip

Comment: Those people from "Anonymous" you are glorifying in this article are simple criminals and their underage dupes who think that attacking, harassing and threatening members of a minority religion is ok "just" because some Tom Cruise is also a member. Who cares about Cruise. Brian Braiker, this is irresponsible reporting or lazy research. YOUR family is not being threatened by "Anonymous" or did they blackmail you?

    • Posted By: teh-lmnop @ 02/09/2008 12:09:16 AM

RealFortune/Luisa, if anyone is threatening your family they should be reported to the appropriate authorities. Anonymous does not support any illegal actions against the Church of Scientology or individual Scientologists. Google "Anonymous Code of Conduct" for proof of that. As for your claims that Anonymous are "simple criminals" and "thugs", it sounds like you're using L. Ron Hubbard's credo of "always attack, never defend".

As I suggested to another CoS member posting here, go to a public computer (your own may be "protected" by Scieno Sitter) and research your church.

    • Posted By: kribby @ 02/08/2008 11:37:31 PM

where the hell did you get "We are attacking Scientology because Tom Cruise is a member?" We are attacking Scientology because of their abuse of power and claiming religion as "intellectual property". Scientology lawyers sent a takedown notice to Youtube for a leaked Tom Cruise interview....claiming it as "Copyright Infringement".....THAT'S WHY WE ARE ATTACKING

I think someone has an engram! Lets do an audit on real fortune--I bet he has a real fortune upstairs!

    Answer: I wish, I wish, I wish....

    • Posted By: stormbaron @ 02/09/2008 12:08:52 AM

you wish you have an engram or you wish your head is full of dysfunctional, anti-social thought processes. Play fair and debate--hell its Friday night--as Tom Cruise says "Its a BLAST!!"

  • Posted By: babelfisher14 @ 02/09/2008 12:08:32 AM

You got it wrong, Newsweek. Anonymous doesn't have 9000 members, it has OVER 9000!

G.O.D.= Good Orderly Direction. If someone were to write the bible or q'ran in modern times, they'd be called insane. Let's all have our own direction, and let others have theirs, so long as it is good, and orderly.
