    Again, Anonymous is in favor of Freezone, a group of people that practice scientology like beliefs, but don't charge $300,000+, commit crimes, extortion, or brainwashing. Anonymous is NOT against the beliefs of scientology, just the corruption, brainwashing, and underhanded tactics and horrible treatment of it's members by the leaders of their "church"


    Before you play the religious intolerance or Freedom Of Religion card perhaps you should get your facts straight.

    Scientologists...I cannot begin to understand the kind of psychological instability it takes for a person to submit themselves to the writings of a child molesting science fiction writer. I feel deep and utter dispair for the people who allow themselves to be taken advantage of by those who choose to exploit them. May this parasitic organization be destroyed for the benefit of future confused individuals...

    The electronic mind manipulation and nuclear mind alteration devices which are so remeniscent of the looney tunes of the past century are what frighten most people away from "SCION-TOLOGY". However, they are just as imaginary as the looney tunes.

    This is GREAT!!!! The whole point of anonymous doing what anonymous is doing is to bring attention to scientology, and the fact that it is completely corrupt (and friggen whacko). Front page on MSNBC is a victory well deserved. I salute their efforts, standing up against corruption when nobody else will. go /b/ go!!!!!!!

      Sound, logical, well-reasoned points make your argument valid. For example, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, and Lindsey Lohan are all big name stars and well-known drug addicts. Does it stand to reason that because they are rich, powerful, and popular that being a cokehead is somehow justified?

    I apologize , my last post was a casualty of this very small comment box. There was a part where I accidentally repeated myself due to a poor copy-paste of my message, and I apologize if that makes my message difficult to read, or is incoherent sounding. What I meant to submit was the following:
    Answer for Quantum_Idea: Anonymous are not bigots. We strongly believe in individualism and human rights, which includes the right to believe what one will. However, the exploitation of trusting followers is an act that cannot simply be overlooked. The members of the church of Scientology, and their sacred beliefs (may of which I personaly hold to be good) are not under attack from "Anon," as the orgonization (or lack there of) is called for short, but instead the institution of the "Church" of Scientology. This means that the highly expensive religious texts, auditing sessions, and abusive practices (which includes but is not limited to the acts of Sea Org), and over-secrecy protected by ruthless litigation, must come to an end before Anonymous will be satisfied. As far as Anonymous is concerned, they can think they have alien ghosts infecting their souls if they really want; Anon doesn't really care about *that.*

    Those people from "Anonymous" you are glorifying in this article are simple criminals and their underage dupes who think that attacking, harassing and threatening members of a minority religion is ok "just" because some Tom Cruise is also a member. Who cares about Cruise. Brian Braiker, this is irresponsible reporting or lazy research. YOUR family is not being threatened by "Anonymous" or did they blackmail you?
