    Ex Scientologist Message Board

This is a safe-haven for those who want to investigate or possibly leave (escape) the Chruch.

    From its description:
This message board is for ex Scientologists to freely discuss mutual experiences in Scientology. It covers such topics as L. Ron Hubbard, David Miscavige and current management, auditing and training, Ethics tech and it's application, OSA, fair game, Clear & OT levels, Freewinds, and recovering from a cult experience.

So let's all try to be cool, understanding, and kind. Let's offer these individuals a chance to become an individual again, offer them solace, and most of all, offer them help.

    http://www.exscn.net/

From what I have read, Anonymous/Internet is not attacking you, nor your beliefs. They are after the recruitment/control and management techniques of the leaders and foundation. You are free to believe whatever you wish.

Just know that information/enlightenment can come from outside your current sphere of influence. Take the initiative to educate yourself, I promise you will suffer no ill-effects from learning. Free yourself...

It is funny how the practice of this Church is to attack and demonize mental health institutions, yet use psychological attacks and prey upon an individual's self-consciessness to draw them in and control them.
    Hello pot, kettle calling.

BTW, a tip to those Scientologists who are posting here in attempt to look like a neutral party and discredit the entire discussion. Blatant blind attacks on things like Meda/Pharm/Psy really blow your cover. Big time. Try to be a bit sneakier.

I, HOW EXACTLY DO THEY CONVINCE Y WAS WONDERINGOU THAT THIS CULT WAS FOUNDED ON THE LOL STORY OF AN ALIEN LANDING HERE 10,OOO YEARS AGO? SERIOUSLY, GOD DOES NOT CHARGE FOR HIS SERVICES, AND THAT WOULD BE THE FIRST CLUE IT'S A CULT! AS FOR "LRH" WAS A SICK BASTARD, AND I DO NOT KNOW HOW YOU PEOPLE GET INVOLVED IN THIS CRAP. IT'S JUST LIKE THE JEHOVAH WITNESSES, THEY ARE THE MOST UNHAPPY PEOPLE IN THE WORLD. THEY ARE LAZY, UNPATRIOTIC, COWARDS. WHERE'S THE HAPPINESS IN THEIR RELIGION. SINCE ONLY 144,000 PEOPLE ARE GOING TO RISE, I THINK THE CLUB IS CLOSED, THEY FILLED THERE QUOTA.I WORKED FOR A SCIENTOLIGIST DENTIST IN WASHINGTON STATE, AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH DECEPTION IN ALL MY LIFE.I TURNED HIM OVER TO THE STATE FOR TRYING TO SHOVE IT IN MY FACE,ESPECIALLY WHEN HE WOULD DRIFT INTO SPACE WHILE WORKING ON PATIENTS. GET OUT OF THIS CRAP, AND QUESTION YOUR OWN INTELLIGENCE. AS FOR TOMMY AND HIS LITTLE TOKEN WIFE,I THINK A HEAVY DOSE OF LITHIUM MIGHT DO THE TRICK, OR INVOLUNTARY COMMITMENT AND DEPROGRAMING.

The world would be a better place if organized religion in general did not exist. How many millions through the centuries have died because they didn't believe what someone else wanted them to? Imagine if we could all have our own spiritual beliefs and values and not try to shove it down someone else's throat.... what a concept! Followers of any organized group religion, Scientology included, are nothing more than sheep, completely unable to think for themselves. Don't misunderstand what I'm saying though.... looking deep inside yourself and finding something to believe in, whatever it may be, is a wonderful thing... but that's just it.... it should be something you find within yourself, not something that you're brainwashed into believing. The singular goal of any religious organization, whether it be Scientologists, the Catholic church, Islam... whatever... is to have control over as many people as possible. It's utterly pathetic and disgusting....

I recently joined the Church of Scientology. After reading Dianetics, I was fascinated by Hubbard's new way of thinking. Now, my life seems to be entirely dedicated to the Church. When I'm not working, I'm taking (admittedly expensive) courses to work myself up the bridge. Recently I heard about Anonymous' effort to expose the facts about my Church. And they sure do have me thinking! I've come to realize that my teachers are subtly trying to convince me that my family (who wants me to leave) are no longer important to me, and are in fact "dangerous" supressive persons. At the same time they want me to borrow money from my family, under false pretenses. They also suggested that if I do leave the Church, my body will basically die, and I will reincarnate as a rapist or serial-killer. Now I am in a dangerous situation. If the Church is right, I have no other option than to devote the rest of my life and finances to the Orgs. If they are wrong, I have wasted all that time and thousands upon thousands of my hard-earned dollars. I'm scared. I just want to make it out alive.

Help is within your grasp my friend. It starts with your family, it starts with unconditional love, it starts with knowledge without cost.
Do not allow youself to be degraded or talked down to in effort to keep you obediant and in the dark. Step into the light that only knowledge can provide. You DO NOT have to offer money/time/service to the Church of Scientology to find out what they believe and practice.

When you replace your family with the religious organization centered around a charismatic leader whose continued goal is obtaining your property and time and mind...that my friend is a cult. Free yourself my friend, my hopes/thoughts/prayers are with you and many other who either consciencey or unconsciencely struggle with the suppressive nature of the organization of scientology.

Do not be afraid, it sounds like you already have open arms that await you. Don't be afraid to love your family, for I am sure they love you.

It is a cult!!!!!! Weak minded people, and lost souls with little support or recourse are sucked into this garbage, and like any other cult, it is next to impossible to break free because the members BELIEVE!!!! I am with Germany....outlaw this cult. Remember the Branch Davidians? Jonestown? Peoples temple?

Would Newsweek cover the KKK's harassment of African-American groups the same way as they do the group Anonymous' threats against the Church of Scientology? Or of a Neo-Nazi group's hate talk against members of the Jewish faith?

Smear campaigns are nothing new. Nor is it new for a group of "anonymous" individuals to hide in the darkness and cast stones at others they don't like. Their tactics smack of vigilantism.

In our current culture it's become a sport to speak ill of others. And with the blogs and websites it's easy for anybody to publish information - whether it is true or not.

It is more important than ever to look at what is really happening, not just listen to hate mongers.

You have this backwards.Scientology is a totalitarian ideology.Exposing their secrets is very similar to exposing the hidden agenda of any totalitarian group be they Nazi's or Stalinistasor Maoists or Islamists. The reason Scientology is secretive is becasue they don't want the PUBLIC to know what they're up to.So they NEVER answer questions about their bizarre practices, beliefs and clownish technology and simply attack anyone who asks those questions. They rail against pharmaceutical companies and psychiatrists because they blame anti-depressants and modern psychotherapy for reducing the number of "candidates" for scientology. And they need recruits to make money. When it comes to the "church" leadership It's always about the $$$$$$$$$$.Follow the $$$$.But unfortunately for the members of the church it's all about paranoia. The leadership feeds their paranoia by blaming all bad publicity on "conspiracies".So much for Scientology and mental health. And attacking modern psychiatry is just rank hypocracy.Scientology is nothing but a bizarre and amatuerish version of psychiatry.L.Ron Hubbard didn't know psychiatry from a hole in the wall.He was a clownish and failed sci-fi writer.Check out his books. They are patheticically unmaginative and poorly written.Your average ten year old would see through them.No wonder nobody would publish them.If you want sci-fi you go to the greats like HG Wells,Isaac Asimov or Robert Heinlein. If you need psychiatry you go to a professional, reputable and fully educated psychiatrist. You don't go to clown like L.Ron Hubbard or a bunch of hustlers like The phoney "Church" of so-called "scientology."
Unless you're a pathetic and weak indivdual who is afraid to stand on your own two feet in this world. All those cults rely on preying on the weak minded and lost souls. It was true for EST or LIFESPRING or Jim Jones or David Koresh. And in due time Scientology will join them on the ash heap of history.A forgotten footnote and historical curiosity that was nothing more than a bi-product of our zietgiest.

Scientology is a load of crap, period. If you want enlightenment, study the bible rightly divided, which is the only way it makes sense.

L Ron Hubbard visited space...he said so himself:
In HIS words, in HIS Voice
    http://www.xenu.net/archive/multimedia.html

"And well, it starts like this -- it starts like this: I was up in the Van Allen belt -- this is factual, and I don't know why they're scared of the Van Allen belt, because it's simply hot. You'd be surprised how warm space is. Get down amongst the clouds and so forth, it can get pretty cold and damp. But you get well up and sunlight shining around and that sort of thing, it's quite hot. And the Van Allen belt was radioactively hot. A lot of photons get trapped in that area and so forth. And I was up there watching the sunrise. Well, that was very interesting. And my perception was very good, and I was taking a look at Norway and Essex and the places around, you know, and getting myself sort of oriented. And then something happened to me that I didn't know quite what had happened to me. I thought some facsimiles must have appeared in front of me, but they didn't look like facsimiles. And some other things happened and I had a feeling like I might possibly go into the sun. And a few other little uncomfortablenesses there where... That wasn't what awed me. But I got confused. I got confused because the sun was suddenly larger and then it was smaller and somehow or another I was doing a change of space process that I myself was not familiar with. And it made me sort of bite off my thetan fingernails just a little bit, you know?"

It would be better to hear what Scientology is all about from the founder: LRH (the one they salute post-mortem)

    http://www.xenu.net/archive/multimedia.html

    Hear it for yourself.
    Do you homework.
    Information is Free.
    Knowledge is Power.

Anonymous is a terrorist group that is relying on bigotry against a new religion to dupe people. Fox TV had the courage to expose them for what they really are. http://www.topix.net/forum/source/chicago-tribune/TDHGR3L2KE3FQFFNC/p5#lastPost

if i was tom cruise being 20 years older than his hot ass wife i would jump on a couch to. wasnt hubbard a failed sci-fi writer anyway? he needed some way to make money. i like to keep things simple. scientology is a cult plain and simple.

    What a bunch of newfags.

  • Posted By: internetsuperhero @ 02/09/2008 2:56:11 PM

we are not a terrorist organization, we do not use terror we use truth. scientologists are the terrorists, they brainwash and indoctrinate those who they can, and violently supress those they cant, supression of sp's is what tom cruise called it. scientology is not a religeon, its an extortion scheme. it will topple, and we are digging the grave they will bury it in. we as anon have done very little in the way of terror, the worst we have done is gone to scientology centers and protested, which is our right as citizens of the united states of america. scientology on the other hand has actually infiltraited the government, and was infact the subject of a major investigation by the us government in which they commited treason, the end result was hubbards wife getting prison time. and then there is hubbard himself, who according to fbi reports was involved in a sexual satanic right with jack parsons in which parsons and hubbard did drugs and had sex with a woman for around 5 days with the hopes of summoning a homonculus. and you people have the gaul to call us evil or say we are terrorists? we are but a symptom of a sick society, we are the cure to societys disease, we are anonymous.
