Don't think of an elephant is a tried and true Republican technique of dis-information. The funny thing about trying to "smear" him by using his middle name makes me realize just how much we need change in this country. Obama was pretty much an agnostic most of his life and his father is Muslim but that makes him more attractive not less.. Indonesia is the 3rd largest county in the world and the largest Muslim country and we need a President who can reach out to the middle east. This country was founded on religious freedom so even if he was Muslim it wouldn't matter.

Thank GOD you aren't a superdelegate. He is not agnostic, he is not Christian, he is a Mohammed. Indonesia is 88% mohammed and one of the most non-secular, violent nations on earth. Hussein can most likely recite the Koran in its Arabic origins, is revered in Indonesia. Now, before you think this is complimenting Hussein, consider this. He supposedly "converted" to Christianity. A fatah should have been issued for his immediate execution, as this made him aspotate an an infidel. Instead he is revered. Don't think for one minute that this is because of moderate views. It is because he is a MOHAMMED, and they want you, and your family dead.

And you support these devils!! SHAME ON YOU!!

This section of DiscoverTheNetworks examines Barack Obama's connections to a number of key individuals and organizations. In some cases, these affiliates are notable for the leftist views and objectives they share with Obama. In other cases, they are notable for their collaboration with Obama in controversial or unethical activities. In all cases, they offer a window into Barack Obama's values and priorities. Taken as a whole, they verify Thomas Sowell's observation that Obama has "spent decades aiding and abetting people who hate America."

From Dreams of My Father: 'I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.'
From Dreams of My Father : 'I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race.'
From Dreams of My Father: 'There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.'
From Dreams of My Father: 'It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.'
From Dreams of My Father: 'I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa , that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself , the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.'

And FINALLY the Most Damming one of ALL of them!!!

From Audacity of Hope: 'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.'

The young voters have yet to deliver. Remember "Rock the Vote" and "Vote or Die"? Kerry still lost to Bush by 3 million votes. I can see how they would fall for Obama's rhetoric. They're rather naive and base decisions on emotions rather then solutions. (I fell into this category at one point) Once you're out in the real world working full time, paying a mortgage raising children, etc... you mature and viewpoints change. It's a neverending process which will happen over your lifetime. Those who don't "grow out" of it usually become college professors.

the kool-aid recipe is the reason you should not vote for him it sums up his reasons for running and if you think he's qualified to be president then you have been slipped a micky so to speak someone slipped you some obama kool-aid check his record his votes but most important check his agenda and ask your self is this who i want to run the country ! think about his tax plan think about his willing to give free health care to 15 million illeagles think about his forgien policy or lack there of think about all his plans and if you feel like he's the one take some ipecac syrup because you've ingested his kool-aid then go vote for someone who will get this country back on track i prefer the John McCain/ Mitt Romney ticket hopfully thats who will win the election in november if Obama gets it we are gonna have a hard row to hoe !!

  • Posted By: willnotvoteobama @ 06/30/2008 9:47:46 PM

KOOL-AID??????..From the kitchen of the obama sheeple!! take one heaping spoonful of an inexperienced elitist white male seeking self validation through exploitation of his african-american genetics. Combine two parts black liberation theology clerics spewing intolerance! With two parts of unrepentant intellectuals committed to the destruction of America. Stir in one cup of militant black wife harboring the overwhelming desire to stick it to whitey and one spoonful of typical white person grandmother mix well. Pour a gallon of anti-patriotism into tall glasses and sprinkle with naïve foreign policy ideations. Serve on a platter of meaningless oratorical hyperbole with a generous dollop of wealth re-distribution. Sprinkle liberally with zest of white guilt flip it and flop it till it tastes right. Serve large portions to the undiscerning and spellbound masses convinced that the Second Coming is upon America and now you have a complete recipe for disaster!

To obamayeswecan: You're an absolute idiot! Don't you know you'll be an "old geezer" someday and you'll learn to vote for the important things, not rock star status. I hope you'll remember your arrogance and smugness when the younger generation, that is lacking in experience and therefore in sense, tells you to get lost. Obnoxious.

A Vote 4 Sen. Green means:

    1. Inexperience
    2. Questionable American Loyalty
    3. Higher taxes (incl Cap. Gains Taxes)
    4. More Costly Entitlement Social/ObamaCare Programs
    5. Too Progressive views / ideologies, traditional values ultimately go out the door
    6. Higher cost for Kool-Aid and Carrots to dangle to maintain control of the base

A VOTE 4 MC CAIN MEANS:

    1. Lower Taxes or Same level taxes.
    2. Good ol' Traditional Values
    3. Significant Investment in Green Technology to combat Geo-Climate Change
    4. Last and most important! Wisdom and Experience we ALL can believe in!

Look we get it, you can't just openly say the "N" word and it's not cool to hate him for being black, plus you're just too chicken sh!t to admit anyway, So what you have done is, you found something that at least 28% of Americans will accept, you call him "Muslim", that is you're substitute word for the "N" word. With ALL of the FACTS showing EVERYBODY Obama is NOT "Muslim", after months of hearing about his 20yr involvement with a CHRISTIAN church and it's angry pastor, you 13% still hate him for being "Muslim" (we know why you really hate him).
Funny, but that's the only thing that makes sense, I mean do you still think the world is flat?

He is NOT Muslim, he IS BLACK, and THAT is why you hate, no other reason.

As far as the "terrorist" connection, Ayers? lmao, was never convicted of ANYTHING, and the ones who were convicted were pardoned by....OMG! Bill Clinton...

So how ever you want to try and paint him, your (all of you) issue with Obama is not Muslim, terrorist, gay, what ever else you want to try to "cling" to...it's the he is BLACK and you can't admit that that is your reason, to me, that's REAL CHANGE because there was a time in this country when you would have just said it, you were the majority, now you are not, and you are too afraid to say it, and that makes you angry...you need a hug ;)

WTF DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU WANT TO KILL IN iRAQ OR NOT? SENILE A$$ MCCAIN.

      • Posted By: amendment2man @ 06/19/2008 1:29:27 PM

we don't kill Kurds. sad dam killed Kurds with wmd's (historical fact) . i think you are senile not Mccain. we do already live in the greatest Nation on earth. obama's change is rooted in further destabilization of our country and it's underpinnings by way of his SUPER LIBERAL adgenda.

when you are younger, naive and idealistic you tend to be a liberal as you think that the world owes it to you to please you. it soon becomes apparent that the ways of the world are there for a reason and some things just are not going to change no matter who promised it to be so.

right leaning centrists such as myself will never vote for this man not due to his race/color/religious orientation etc. but his stand on issues.

he has shown himself to be naive in the areas of foreign policy and negotiation. he is also not well versed fiscally as he promises without a method of paying for his promises just the tired "tax the rich " slow down the economy even more(duh). I hate to tell you folks but we live in a free market democracy not a socialist state and his liberal policies have a distinct socialist bent(universal health care, the utopian dream) . Go live in Canada or the UK if this isyour desire. that kind of change to a socialist liberal state is contrary to everything this country stands for so if you don't like it emigrate.

Kennedy, of course, is now backing Clinton's rival, Barack Obama, for the nomination. But last year, before that endorsement, he was quoted by the Associated Press as saying something quite different

Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, Oct. 6, 2007: The children's health program wouldn't be in existence today if we didn't have Hillary pushing for it from the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue.

    • Posted By: HDavidson @ 06/19/2008 5:41:04 PM

Kenedy is a brilliant man, in every choice he has made, he, like others saw Hillary for who she really was and changed his mind, that's all. A true sing of intelligence. Why do you think ALL those Supers kept falling off her too?

  • Posted By: amendment2man @ 06/19/2008 1:41:39 PM

hey Romano: "fallen under the spell" is such a great concept, even you rcognize that this campaign is not rooted in reality an concrete plans but "inspiration" "hope" and other nebulous emotional manipulation.

it sure as heck is not concrete as you generations idealism and technological orientation leaves you all not considering the details an how things get done. not everything transpires in cyberspace you actually have to have physical effort.

He has to target the naive and unseasoned as they are just like him and they can be told what to think. their rudimentary knowledge and experience will serve him well. the question is: will they even remember to vote or will their car run so they can get to the polls. well sir there are many seasoned voters who will never be blinded by his emotional manipulation which he has used to cloud the issues.

  • Posted By: willnotvoteobama @ 06/16/2008 4:17:30 PM

I don't think people are supporting Obama because he is a black man. Sure , he is smart ,charismatic and a bright politician but sorry to disappoint, it's not because of his pigment. Maybe he gets a good number of votes due to it, but that wasn't the crushing reason for his upset of Hillary. Like him or not, the guy is very very impressive. His delivery has been remarkable over the past year. But all of those reasons still would not (out of no where) sling shotted him beyond one of the most powerful politically machines we have ever witness- the Clintons.

No way folks , this was much larger. The reason Obama was successful in overthrowing "Clinton" was clearly due to something else. In 2004, after the Kerry lost, Move on .com and the radical loony left vowed they would own the Democratic party in 08 !They made true on their goal! Today, they are one of Obama's strongest financial and political supporters. "Move on" also support many other radical groups that are also pro-Obama. It intrigues me ,as well, that Obama strongest support appears to be those who hold "quiet hatred" towards their own country. (A country ,mind you, that gives them freedom like no other.)

It's clear Obama supporters know that he is the best candidate that can make the U.S. A . weaker in the eyes of the world. That's what his supporters want! Call it guilt or misguided views that are based on MTV, Hollywood and foreigners (quietly and politely) who would love to see another 911 in America. In the last 7 years ,after 911, it has become a transparent phenomenon. What ever is the cause, higher minds must prevail . Lastly before I leave you, The the top 10 groups supporting Obama:

    1. White guilt
2.Yong white followers of idiotic rap music.
    3. Bush Haters
    4. American Haters
    5. Elitist Hollywood Loons
    6. 60 years old who want to relive their radical 60s years.
    7. people who ignore the fact that political correctness has gone a muck.
    8. People who think Obama may give them something for free.
    9. David Lettermen and his entire audience!
    10 Americans who hate America!

Take that David letterman! You America hater!!!

Dear One, I agree with you about the horrible social conditions in Iran. I have two things to say about that. One is, Americans need to be VERY CAREFUL not to let the religious right wing take over the Supreme Court, considering that Iran shows you what it really looks like when a nation fails to separate church and state. The second point is that WE, the USA, put those nut jobs in power by placing the Shah in power then controlling his government as a puppet, which infuriated the Iranian people. The Iranian people rebelled against such imperialism, and in the middle of this secular political rebellion, the Ayatollahs seized power. Not to mention the very cogent fact that WE, the USA, gave Iran their first nuclear reactor. Oh, yeah. We forgot all about that. Now we are threatening to bomb them for possessing technology that WE gave them?

And what is all this nonsense about Iran attacking Israel? Iran has been at war with Iraq for decades, and never succeeded in even taking over a neighboring province. How are they going to fight a long distance war with Israel? Iran does NOT have significant military force to back up a nuclear strike, even if it were stupid enough to indulge in one, even if it already had the warheads, which it does not.

And ask yourself, who has strengthened the religious fanatics that control Iran? The USA. First, we give them nuclear power, then we set up conditions for the Ayatollahs to seize power, then we plunge Iraq into civil war and destroy Iraq's infrastructure, which effectively disables Iran's greatest enemy. Furthermore, Bush refuses to have diplomatic relations, only worsening the situation. And McCain threatens to bomb Iran, which is even stupider (and much more real) than Iran threatening to bomb Israel. We have no one but ourselves to blame for the horrible situation in the middle east.

VOTE FOR OBAMA to end all this needless drama.

    • Posted By: the-commish @ 06/16/2008 7:16:38 PM

A couple of other things I forgot to mention, Nins:

      1) Even if Iran had a nuclear weapon and an adequate delivery system, attacking Israel would presumably also kill loads of Palestinians.

      2) Those facilities in the Negev are there for a reason. Any attack by Iran will be met by swift retaliation from Israel, and Iran would cease to exist as a viable country. The Iranians know this.

It is more likely that the Israelis would launch a preemptive strike against Iran, although since the Iranian facilities are widely dsipersed and strike-hardened, it would be very difficult to take out their retaliatory cababilities with a single strike.

    • Posted By: the-commish @ 06/16/2008 7:10:02 PM

      Nins,

Extremely well said. Those who think Obama does not have a plan have either not read his plans on his website (why learn when it is easier just to oppose without reason) or have decided that they do not agree with his plans. The latter I can respect. The former... NOT!

  • Posted By: jamrock66 @ 04/24/2008 3:39:57 PM

Younger voters will resonate with Obama because we can identify with him, and in some way he understand that the major part of the problem in this country is Older folks. They are to be blamed for taking us down the road we are presently on. They lack vision and so they are now dampening our dream of a brighter future and a more unified America.
They fail to understand that if our future continues to be as bleak as they lay it out for us, then, their social security will be limited in scope and we will force them back into the stone age. Let's see how they like bread and water. As young people we will take back this country and prove to the rest of the world that we can unite and become masters of our own destiny.
Those old folks who are championing for the Clintons can forever continue to hold on to fading dreams. All this garbage about black and white is but a stench in a drifting wind that will eventually fade away. Obama gives hope to both Black and white, in that the presidency is now open to any child regardless of his family background. If we should look at Hilary we can see that everyone cannot identify with her, however every child, black white or brown can identify with Obama.
The future is ours to take and decide what direction we so choose to follow. Young people wake up and follow your dream, a dream for a better future, if the old fargies fail to see vision then I guarantee you it will be their loss.
Where there is no vision the people perish.
These are the days when young men will dream dreams and old men will see visions.

As young people we must refuse to carry the burden and anxiety that is attributed to racism a legacy from our forefathers. Let it go my people and you will experience tremendous growth.

    • Posted By: loriw @ 06/16/2008 6:14:04 PM

wow, jamrock66, you must really hate Older folk. "force them back into the stone age, see how they like bread and water". Perhaps if you weren't so prejudiced against older American's they might have been able to teach you something called life experience. Just remember....it will probably Older folk who will be your employer, your doctor, your professor etc.... If you listen you'll learn more than if you run your mouth bashing everyone older than you. Just curious...under your criteria how much older than you does one have to be to be an problem Old folk and just curious....have you discovered the fountain of youth also?

My comments were a bit tongue in cheek! I'm sure there are plenty of bright kids today now that we have home schooling. But on a more serious note, what exactly is the attraction of Obama for the young (non-home schooled) exactly? He is a charismatic person, I'll grant him that and he is a bit of A David slaying Ms Goliath. I clearly thank him for that one!

It bothers me though that the young seem to be jumping on the "change" wagon in terms of their support for Obama. What exactly does he want to change? From what I can gather of his program, he is a typical liberal.
More liberal than Hillary but less liberal than her on health insurance. They seem on the same note when it comes to Iraq basically.

I guess I'd like to see the young focused more on issues than touchy feely kind of things. What do they think about judicial activism for example? What do they think about the free market? What do they think about the role of government, liberty etc. Would they like to see an end to the US fighting wars for nation building like we are doing in Iraq? Would they like to see us secure our borders? Are they more concerned with diversity than individual achievement?

And do they really think that a guy with two years in the Senate has the most experience of all the candidiates including Miss Hillary who ran for the Democratic nomination?
