Don't have time to chat this A.M. Got to earn a living. I'll be back this P.M. and all you victimcrates can boo hoo all you want. Just remember kids, don't take candy from strangers.

I was wondering what you did for a living, roho. 1. Propaganda minister for the Neo-Nazis. 2. Head seamtress for the KKK. 3. Reporter for the Aryan Nation News (No--you can't write). 4. Head barber for the Skinheads. 5. Arms smuggler for white supremist groups. 6. Or simply a professional hate-monger for hire. Do your co-workers know you're an empty-headed bigot?
Your political views are worthless because you prefer to support them with racist rhetoric.
      Don't hurry back.

I was enjoying the dialogue for a moment but then the comment was made thank God for the crusades. Wow, thats a little too far off topic and childish even for me.

Hey Flanders, you obviously don't know very much about the Crusaders. They saved the western world. Rumor is there are still a few Templar Knights around. I hope we are lucky enough to meet them in person. Don't you.

          MOHAMMED WAS A PEDOPHILE!!!

          NO TO MOHAMMED!!!

Has Hussein turned ya'll oppressive already. Violation of free speech? Bet you want to outlaw guns next, huh? Remember, this is not Indonesia, or Kenya, or Iran. Last time I looked, we still had Constitutional Rights. With Hussein Obama as President that would likely CHANGE, uh CHANGE, uh CHANGE, uh CHANGE That is a pretty catchy slogan.

I think in the interest of full disclosure Romano should come out and say who he supports in the election. I can not stand reading his subversive jabs at any of the candidates (although they seem to hit Barack more). He is stating opionion but for a news magazine. If articles like 'Barack's Muslim Problem' keep popping up on his page the readers have to choice but to question his neutrality and ethics as a writer. Until he discloses his presidential preference so his articles have perspectives, I have no choice but to view this blog (which reflects poorly on Newsweek) as nothing more than empty rhetoric. Please do the right thing.

You obamababies are sissies. The opinion piece was very favorable to Barry. I must make you pee on yourself with my facts.. If you think this is something, just wait. It will not be swiftboats. This stuff makes them look like bathtub duckies. p.s. Stop Crying, big boys don't cry.

      NO TO MOHAMMED!!!

As far as Holy Roller is concerned, I say let him speak. The vast majority of Americans in the country (I seriously hope I'm not being too optimistic here) are smarter and more thoughtful than this jerk. If anything, his comments are just reminding people that racism and prejudice is still extremely prevelant in this country. His posts will only push people further in the direction of those he so despises. I mean seriously? The crusades? I'm having trouble thinking of many more worse atrocities. The extreme religious right and their supporters are doing nothing but pushing everyone left of them further left. Thanks Holy Roller, keep up the good fight. Ass.

Thanks so much for giving me permission to express my Constitutional Right To Free Speech. Makes me feel good that you approve. p.s. starting to look like a whole lot of folks got quite a bit of juicy knowledge about Barry.

Precisely, because he's Muslim, he should become President. That would be a great way to salvage the country's image that is becoming more fundamentailst by segregating a group of people as a whole based on religion. Besides, clearly his religious affiliation is not seen as a "big deal" by a lot of people in this country, and especially not the youth. The poll results show that. In my mind, whoever brings up this issue to derail his campaign would instead seem like a bigot. Besides, what's wrong with Black empowerment?

    • Posted By: jaymiller @ 02/12/2008 4:30:57 PM

You post twice, I respond twice. For the last time, Obama is NOT a Muslim. He is a Christian. I won't even argue with you about whether or not that should matter because it obviously does. I have already addressed these ridiculous rumors in posts below.

      • Posted By: nidhi @ 02/12/2008 7:48:46 PM

You are right jaymiller. I did check and found that he is not Muslim. In any case, my point really is that he's the candidate representing the energy of youth. He has a roadmap, a vision that I agree with and I really feel and believe 'he's one of us'. However, I must say, my folly has surprised me! It is very sad to note that there are so many people, as seen in this discussion forum who have a tendency to stereotype and judge people and candidates on their religious affiliation, which is completely inconceivable to me. You can't be anything, but a bigot to say "you do not put the enemy in the most powerful position in the world." This is appalling! Are we progressing or regressing?

        • Posted By: jaymiller @ 02/12/2008 9:23:47 PM

nidhi, we have a long way to go as you can see. I apologize for the tone of my message, but I do get frustrated at the misinformation that gets peddled around here as the truth. It shouldn't matter but does; that said, it's much easier to argue with these boneheads that Obama is a Christian, which is an incontrovertable fact.

          • Posted By: HolyRoller @ 02/12/2008 10:37:40 PM

As a christian, I hope that Obama got filled with the holy ghost, repented, spoke in tongues, and got slain in the spirit. Or at the least got a convicted soul, repented, and was reborn with the Spirit of Christ. I'd love to hear his testimony about this experience. I doubt it happened. But its certainly quite possible he likes handling snakes. CHECK IT OUT.

nidhi you are the only one that has told the truth about "OBAMA" being muslim.

Do you suppose those Democrats can read? Because his position on the issues is clearly stated on his site and conveniently broken down into abstracts as well as in depth analysis and proposal for a plan to address each. Admittedly a few issues are not addressed directly, for example, the issue of restoring our civil liberties and yet every candidate WITH THE EXCEPTION F CLINTON signed a pledge to work toward that end. Hillary tends to be supported by people who are told by their unions who to support, but every one of us should be committed at his point in history to make an informed decision when we vote.

The youth segment of any generation is full of idealism, hope, and (almost) blind faith that tomorrow will be better than today and or any time previous to their present. That is not a bad thing; it generates energy and creative thinking. But it is totally counter-productive to denigrate the caution gained from real life experience of those who are older and have seen it all before. Most people, regardless of their "generation" want what's best for the country. This is not limited to those under 30. Everyone everywhere, but especially in the print media, must stop the endless chatter, the buzzwords, the citing of historical trivia (often incorrectly) as if it were all there is of the previous generations.

  • Posted By: PirateKing @ 02/12/2008 1:41:32 PM

This is more silly commentary based on recieved, media-generated ideas that fall apart on critical analysis, but of the sort that passes for editorial content in this impoverished age. It accepts as givens that people can be categorized as to their thoughts, ideals, and aspirations according to when they were born; it revels in media-generated but empty labels for whole groups of individuals ("boomers", "millenials", etc.), positing that these are valid categories; it forgets that, according to the useless and media-determined contoures of the "Baby Boom generation", Obama is one of them (1946-1964). Ultimately, what will get this country back on track is more critical thinking, not more parroting of media buzz words

  • Posted By: bcb333 @ 02/11/2008 2:55:09 AM

Nice column, but Obama's not a millenial, he's an Xer. You may want to read Strauss and Howe a little deeper. They actually refer to Obama's generation as the "thirteenth" generation. It is my generation, and, oddly, one of the chief hallmarks of my generation is we were completely ignored by the Boomers, castigated in the media from the time of birth, and, it was presaged, would be ignored by the millenials, as well. Those Strauss and Howe guys sure know their stuff. Do a little more research next time.

    • Posted By: ltcarpio @ 02/12/2008 1:38:39 PM

If Obama is going to be 47 yrs old in November, that means he was born in 1961. That, by the social demographers, makes him a member of the Baby Boom generation. That generation is from 1946-1964. I know this horrifies many people, but get over it.

Obama is a great cult leader. He insprire the young voters who seems very shallow in thinking things through. All the youth are not very good at thinking deeply to any issue. Youths all think they are doing think right, but most rerults prove them wrong.

It is a very dangeous path for the country with a cult leader as a persident.

    STOP THE CULT LEADER OBAMA.

    • Posted By: rc-in-mo @ 02/12/2008 1:36:49 PM

The only thing spelled correctly in your statement is "cult Leader". I am not a youth, way past that. You want a cult leader? How about people putting a Clinton back in office?? They made a shambles of things before-BOTH OF THEM!! They were a disgrace to the White House and if they had any morals, would have gone home and hidden in their home.

I don't intend to vote for Obama as persident BUT I will vote for him for President.

  • Posted By: HolyRoller @ 02/10/2008 3:46:48 PM

    Lew Alcindor-Kareem Abdul Jabbar
    Cassius Clay-Mohammed Ali
    Cat Stevens- Yusef YabbaDabbaDoo
Converts to islam change their Christian name for identification to their new "faith"

Barak Obama Hussein-Barak Hussein Obama HE ALREADY IDENTIFIED

    • Posted By: jskyyy @ 02/12/2008 1:29:51 PM

Now that is utterly ridiculous. Obama is a junior, duh, named after his father. He became Christian but didn't think that he needed to change his name, especially since he has his father's name. He cannot be compared to Ali or Jabar. You want to know why? Because they are African Americans descended from slaves. They were rejecting their slave names, just as Malcolm X did. What will you say next, that everyone with a Latino name is an illegal immigrant? Jeez.

  • Posted By: devere @ 02/11/2008 2:16:40 AM

Interesting that Obama tends to win in caucus states and secret ballot states having significant black populations. But in states where no one knows how people vote and where black voters are more in keeping with the percentage of blacks in the populaiion, Clinton wins. What does this tell us for the general election?

    • Posted By: GrogInOhio @ 02/12/2008 12:30:11 PM

You mean those urban states with high black populations like Minnesota, Idaho, N Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska and Utah?? PUHLEEZE... can we retire the race card??? Obama is winning because of his message, not his melanin.

343 days till the end of the Bush administration.

Lest we forget: Last fall Hillary enjoyed universal name recognition and the adoration of the African-American community. She was the consensus nominee with a double-digit lead over the field and an overflowing war chest. And now??? She has proven to be shockingly inept running a campaign. Shouldn???t we be terrified of her in the White House? Small wonder her backers are ???rattled???.

  • Posted By: HolyRoller @ 02/11/2008 4:51:41 AM

Islam was created by the father of all lies and introduced and spread by a warmongering, pedophile named Mohammed. The cult lives and dies by the sword with no regard for life. Now a large segment of our population wants one of the devils to be their President. How foolish we have become. DEATH TO ISLAM-NO TO MOHAMMED.

As an onine blogger, I am sure that this writer is a paid blogger whose salary depends on spreading false rumors, getting replies to ensure that his salary continues and is having a good laugh at anyone who wastes their time helping him earn his paltry bucks. How desperate one must be to earn their money with hatred and racism. Let's leave him or her to speak in a vacuum. That is his worse fear. And surely will not please his bosses, whichever political party they belong to. Bye, bye, little one.

While everyone from Eisenhower's daughter to some pretty far out folks on this posting stands up for their candidates, there is an undercurrent passionate voters are going to be drowned in if our current Superdelgate system continues. Check out Dan Abrams on msnbc. He's been talking about Superdelegates and introduced the downside of this system, which we all seem to accept as inevitable. Not me. Here is the facts, folks. Each SuperDelegate can, with their single vote, wipe out 90,000 already placed votes. Are we Americans Nuts? Why would we stand still for this system? Please check out the email I sent to Abrams below. (exerpts only)
    --------------------------
. Here's my input about SuperDelegates. They should go. They have no place in a democracy. They were not included in our forefather's plans for our democratic republic. Super Delegates caused a horrible divide in America when they upset the Gore nomination. The upset of the popular vote by SuperDelegates convinced many that Bush's folks had influenced, perhaps orchestrated the "hanging chads." I understand that SuperDelegates are intended to smooth things over. Not working, folks.

In addition, other countries don't understand how we can say we are a one vote, one person democracy when the popular vote can be overturned by a handful of 'insiders" after the completion of supposedly democratic elections. To them, it seems flagrantly hypocritical -- if not outright fraud.

Dan Abrams, please, ignore the slams and keep working for a true democracy. NO SUPERDELEGATES NOW OR EVER.

Please folks, if you agree, contact your party and tell them to revert to NO Superdelegates. It was jimmyrigged onto our constitutional right to vote. It doesn't belong in a democracy. If there is a tie, then there needs to be a better way to break the tie. Not with insiders or anyone who has never voted before. Thanks for "listening." JMB

Hey HOLYROLLER, DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND that your types CRUSADES is what created the mess we are in today, and considering where the son of MY GOD lived, I know it's quite possible that ancestors of despicable little *** like you conspired to have him killed(wonder what his name would be today) - and how would you stomach the possibility that you been worshipping a sand *** your whole sorry-ass existence. Do you touch yourself when you type? Were you the crackhead that gave Obama head in back of the limo in Chicago? But one thing you say is true - devils indeed do not need demonizing. Why is it always the needle dick trans with no nuts the most vocal?
