It's nice to know that people like HolyRoller are still as insane as they were 7 years ago.

Obama's a Christian. Read a book and you might know that. :0

A Christian? He is an Islamic sympathizer at best, possibly much worse. His goal is to destabilize hard fought victories in Iraq, reduce Western influence int the Middle East, help flame unrest in Pakistan, and attends a "church" where his own children award the likes of Louis Farakahn awards. His Iman has been quoted that 9/11 was the fault of the U.S.A. Members pledge allegiance to Afrika. Sounds mohammed to me.

    VICTIMCRATES FOR OBAMA

    ALL BURQAS 50% OFF

    Devere,

Obama won in Utah - a primary state, with very few blacks. He took 57% of the vote. that makes me feel very hopeful for the general election.

Yes he did, all 12 non-mormons voted for him

I read your article and when I got to the end??!? You arrogant little twit! Boomers were into "self" and not into community? I wish you had told me that when I was getting mauled by attack dogs on that bridge in Selma!
Personally I happen to admire Obama a great deal, He just wasn't around back then in the 60s. If he had of been, we would have found him then, and then you ignorant little spoiled brats wouldn't be singing that lonely little meaningless song that has been epitomized by your worthless and unquestioning acceptance the of techno nothingness of the ungeneration!

I read your column and when I saw the end ??!? Boomers were into "self", not into "community" Jeez, I wish I' d known that while I was getting bitten by those huge dogs on that bridge in Selma! You ungrateful ignorant twit with absolutely no knowledge of the 60s! By the way, I intensely admire Obama. We just didn't have him then. If we had of, your generation would be singing a much more respectful song to the ones who came before you!!

Hope, yes. Positivity, yes. But faith in government? When has that faith ever been upheld in the history of mankind?

Isn't there something oxymoronic about being a "registered" independent?

I could not agree more with this article. I will be happy to vote for Obama and a generation that supersedes hyper-partisan baby boom politics.

It amazes me when I see Clinton coming around to where Obama started. Listen to her everyday parrot Obama's beginning statements. I personally prefer originals. I like my change to have always been change.

Both Clinton and Obama can't even be civil to each other...I find it hard to imagine how Obama is going to bring the country together as he promises. When he's not ripping on Clinton, he's ripping on the Republicans. Maybe he should practice what he preaches and put aside partisan "food-fighting" now as he says he is going to do if and when he's elected president.

Notice that we use the first name of the woman and the last names of the men. Either Hillary or Obama are OK with me. the problem is that we need a miracle worker to save the nation, end the war, stop global warming, provide Health carefro at least the children, and care about all people, even migrant workers. Too bad God is not running. that does not mean that a retired(?) preacher is the answer

do we really have to look that far back to remember the Clintons and their political style....whitewater, renting out the Lincoln bedroom, pardoning felons like March Rich.....actually Bill Clinton so wonderfully reminded us of how divisive they can be, how they will do anything to win, even if it means playing up the race card to remind America how "black" of a candidate Obama is....they dont call him "slick wilie" for nothing....my biggest problem with the Clintons is their sense of entitlement to the 2008 election..they just feel they deserve it because this has been part of hillary's plan since 2000, when she became senator of new york, remember, a state she had never lived in prior to that election...she was reeling off of her husband's presidency and his scandal...i lost respect for hillary even back then, because she and bill just had such a convenient politcal relationship, you scratch my political back, ill scratch yours....and when it comes to experience, i didnt know being governor of arkansas was so high on the political resume....we have had GWB in the white house for the past 7 years - he came with "experience" and we have never had such a horrible president..obama is ethical; the only dirt on him is his touting a bill that never really made it...ooh no, what a liar!!! but the clintons legacy of real estate scandals and lying to federal investigators under oath...hmm...but the "oh obama is muslim" rhetoric, that's lovely...how ignorant and racist are these people? maybe they should vote for huckabee with his proud confederate flag, or keep dreaming about Mitt Romney who when flocked by a group of young African American boys says to them" oh what nice bling bling you have there" and starts singing "who let the dogs out"..obama is christian and has been so for over 20 years..and even if he was Muslim, so what? it's the 3rd oldest religion in the world and the fastest growing one (even in the United States)...read his memoirs and stop spreading vicious lies...my vote is for obama - we need someone to change washington..if hilary says she can change washington, why hasnt she done so in the past 7 years? what are her greatest accomplishments..voting for the war on Iraq? yep, that's a winner...

Yes, Obama is us. As he mentioned that the change is us.
He's the ONE who was destined to lead us to the New Age.
He's talking in the same style we're chatting in the text message.

It's too obvious ??? he's our BODY, while McCain is a DEAD BODY.

Hill's excuses that she have been outspent in Barack's sweep just debunked
her claim of her vast 35 years experience, perhaps like the vast right wing
conspiracy. It also exposed her mismanagement of campaign finances that
debunked her vow of micro-managerial ability ! So, she is down to her last
firewall in Texas. Ohio won't help her just like how Missouri didn't her her
with the white votes. Northern white voters are more open to a black candidate
than Southern whites, specially after they'll hear Barack speaks from the heart
and see nothing phony about him. Barack's strong support comes from the Youth
who have the natural ability to detect a phony from a distance and that is very
true. Hill can't overcome that, and no amount of re-programming can help her
change her phony persona and no amount of deodorant can hide the Clintons' bad
political smell ! No one can deny that it is Barack who have been able to bring
in so much voters into the primaries more than anyone else, and Super delegates
should consider that before they cast their decision instead of letting the
Clinton ties bind them to her and risk alienating a very large swat of voters
and dampen their enthusiasm. Texas may be the only realistic firewall left, but
it won't bring her any victory at all. It can only bring a stalemate and toss
the race into the hands of Super Delegates. However, if Barack wins Texas, then
we can definitely write the Clintons' political obit. Before I forget, perhaps
another Hill tear up image might be of little help. However, considering the
writers are going back to work, that may no longer catch the attention of TV
    viewers.

Please remember history - one of the primary causes of the French Revolution was the influx of youthful leaders in Franch, who had no historical perspective on that nation. READ!

Obama must learn patience, humility, tolerance, and right now, some modicum of reality. This has nothing to do with anything about his personal life--that's his business. But, he's not ready as his fauning before his flock evidences.

Candidates' actions should mean more than their words or looks. Obama's direct-mail hit-piece in California attacking universal health care as well as Clintoni was pure Karl Rove -- using lies to cover up his own weaknesses. His aid's attack on CNN that "Hillary didn't cry for Katrina," was one of the slimiest comments I've heard in years. In Nevada he pandered to a conservative newspaper by praising Reagan (but he didn't really mean it honest), while his allies did a racist hit-piece about how Clintion had "Abandoned our people," which Obama never disavowed.. His lie that he passed a bill restricting dumping of nuclear waste, while his leading contributor Exelon keeps dumping is classic Republican politicos. From his actions, Obama is just another old-fashioned politician who will say or do anything to get power.
