Mike Huckabee is yet another loser from the conservative wing of the Republican Party who openly flaunts his stone age religious beliefs and has absolutely no chance of becoming president. Next to an actual contender like John McCain he comes off like Pee Wee Herman if he decided to totally lose his mind and become an evangelical idiot savant. And next to Hilary and Obama, he comes off as presidential as SpongeBob Squarepants!

I totally agree with you on all points but one. Spongebob Squarepants would be a better president than Huckabee.

harmonyspam- unless the Trinity United Church of Christ, in Chicago, is a mosque, Obama is not a Muslim.
And, Obama recites the Pledge of Allegiance in the Senate.
According to your astute political analysis, Hillary is simultaneously a Communist and a Fascist? Let's not forget devil worshiper.

Nice to see a Republican who is actually likeable! Haven't seen one of these in at least a decade! I don't think anyone from this party has a chance at the next presidency, but if one did, it would certainly be Huckabee.

Huck won every district in Kansas on Saturday and he won Louisiana as well. Unfortuntely he did not make the 50% rule in Louisiana to get the promise of the delegates assigned. He could win or come close in Washington state who for some reason quit counting their small number of caucus goers. Was Paul winning? Anwyay, I like Mike and hope he keeps enjoying himself. Paul and Huck give voters an option besides Mac and until Mac sews it up there is nothing wrong with pushing on.

So how exactly is Huckabee a "died-in-the-wool conservative" if he raised taxes and commuted sentences of criminals who later went out and committed more atrocius crimes?

And how in the world does he REALLY think he's going to win this thing when every single victory he's had (7 total including today's, which BTW is still four less than Romney had and he bowed out even BEFORE today's contests......) has been in the South? Get real. Romney won victories that were literally coast to coast (Maine and Massechusetts all the way to Alaska and states in between) AND had more people vote for him on Super Tuesday than Huckabee. Try as Huckabee might it ain't gonna happen. And he knows it. Shoot, everyone knows it. Absolutely comical that McCain says that Huckabee is still a "realistic threat". That's called "reaching out to the right", folks.

So why is Huckabee still in it? Because he wants the VP slot, plain and simple. Did you notice the "of course I'd support McCain over the Democrat candidates"statement? Nice plug. If McCain gives it to him I'm gonna' puke. Scream "foul!" all you want but if Huckabee hadn't have been so selfish as to stay in the race covertly fighting for the VP slot, if you check the "popular vote" statistics from Super Tuesday, Romney, even without all the votes from Huckabee's supporters, would likely have emerged from Super Tuesday as the front-runner. I say that because with McCain's liberal record, like refusing to get on board to amend the Constitutional amendment train defining marriage as between a man and a woman (I've lived in the South for 9 years.....they don't like Mormons but they HATE gays!), certainly a HUGE chunk of Southern voters would have pulled the lever for Romney since they're too smart to think that Ron Paul would win.

Too bad that the very best candidate on both sides of the fence bowed out because people just couldn't believe that a good man with integrity, ability and intelligence actually exists.

    Enjoy the fight, ya'll!

    Romney 2012!

    Yo harmonypan,
Yuz a little off-base, but you hit the big nail on the head with the fact that Obama''s middle name IS HUSSAIN!!!! and only devout Muslim's are to have that name. Also the fact that he's refuses to say the Pledge of Allegiance, or salute Our flag is appalling!!!! This point alone makes him unfit for the office of President, or for that matter to even be called a "Citizen" of this great nation!! But does the media say anything about this ,NOOOOO!!! They some how forgot that LOYALTY&RESPECT work hand in hand to reveal the true "CHARACTER" of an individual as Obama. As for "Billary" HEAVAN HELP US !!!!!

  • Posted By: bocabill @ 02/10/2008 12:39:51 AM

harmonypam, I can only hope you are not as stupid as your post concerning Obama. As a conservative I feel it is not necessary to print such ignorant remarks in order to diminish someone with a different political viewpoint, particially when there is absolutily no truth to the allegations. Try the high road sometime.

harmonypam, get over your stupidity. Every thing you stated about Obama is a lie. It does not matter if you are a conservative, as I am, or a liberal, at least write about facts. You do no service to the conservative movement by printing this garbage.

For your information, Mike Huckabee never ran against Mike Beebe as governor of Arkansas. Mike Huckabee served two terms as an excellent governor. Mike Beebe's opponent was Jim Holt in the last election.

In case you uninformed people did not know, Obama is a full blown Muslim who, by the way, refuses to say the pledge or salute the flag. If you would vote for him I don't care what color his skin is you need to remember which country you are in. Hillary's platform is purely communistic. Unless you want a female Hitler in office you might want to keep that in mind. McCain is a Democrat running under the Republican
name. The mainstream media is very careful not to touch on these fine points. You have to learn them from people who don't have an agenda and report the ALL the facts. I wouldn't want any of them running my country.

Go Mike Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!We're all with you.....don't let the media or the pols or anyone stop you from running with the Vision that God has given you! You have the Victory against all odds.......you will overtake and conquer.we'll see who left standing when the smoke clears.

  • Posted By: harmonypam @ 02/09/2008 11:49:52 PM

Anyone that would vote for a full blown muslim who, by the way, in case you didn't know, refuses to say the Pledge or salute the flag needs to remember what country they are from. The same is true for Hillary. She at least is true to the flag but her agenda is a communistic agenda. Sorry, I don't want either one running my country.

      Dear Mr. Green whatever,
I spelled all them wordes that way so youd understandem better afters I red your first post.
Why dont you spell chech "duh for dah - is for in? - huge for hugh - lose for loose
Like I said YOU are what the problem in America is
Unfortunately, there are too many illiterate people in America - not all of them are smartass disrespectful pricks - but you would not know any of them.
Mr. Huckabee is a fine person - one that does not deserve to be disrespectfully ridiculed whether he is whom you or I support is irrelevant.

Huck left office because he was term limited. Know your facts or you may show who the moron is...

  • Posted By: tiredofbeingusedbygovernment @ 02/09/2008 11:03:13 PM

Mike Huckabee lost the office of govenor to Mike Beebe because Huckabee is a moron. I don't feel that any of the people currently running for president are worth anything. However having to choose the lesser of two evils I will definitly vote against Huckabee.

  • Posted By: nire @ 02/09/2008 10:25:14 PM

http://www.nationalexpositor.com/News/840.html Mike Huckabee is a liberal globalist! With these candidates America will no longer be free.

    • Posted By: guns are a right! @ 02/09/2008 10:43:46 PM

I would like to know what a "liberal globalist " is? According to green limp dick I'm uneducated so you'll have to excuse me. I guess what one has to do is pick the lesser evil here.
