      How do you know she is a great kid? You have heard nothing about her since she left the White House other than she started a job with a hedge fund for $120,000.00 a year. What is this hedge fund? What part in the mortgage load problem did it play. I don't know but I think the people deserve to know more than what is being said since she is a spokesman for her Mother, a presidential candidate.

    If Chelsea Clinton is putting herself into the middle of this campaign there is no reason that the press should treat her as off limits. if she can talk politics for her Mother then she can answer questions about those policies and comments from her Mother. She should not be off limits. She should be pressed just as any other candidate's representative is and frankly I don't give a damn about Bill's antics while president but I do care that he has made it an issue to cast aspersions on African Americans, those who helped him win election. I voted for him in '92 but debated long and hard in '94. Chelsea is not to be treated as a child. I am interested in knowing what her life is like now that she is an adult. What her views are and how she sees herself in the years to come. What is this hedge fund she is working for. I knew when she started this job at $120,000.00 per year that she had some serious backers (Bill and Hillary) and I asked myself as a Black woman with a masters degree would I have had the same opportunity to get that job. I can tell you - NO.

    Texasgakl, you are right on the money about the Clinton's. Chelsea used an emotional moment while speaking about her mother when they were in a tight spot in arizona. She said I don't want to cry, or something to that effect. The Clinton ruined this country. I was a democrate until bill became president. They are rich, ambitious, decietful. They couldn't even get credit for their first house in West Chester county. What a disgrace. They owe so many people favors that she couldn't possibly be an effective president. Too many people own her. WOMEN wake u p yes it would be wonderful to have a women president. The right women. Do not vote just because she is a women. She is the wrong women. This country will be in big trouble if hillary and her husband land in the white house. Hay imagine Bill running around the white house with nonthing to do.       So what about their marraige? Our tax dollars is paying for a job. Which they did very well the first time. People were working, the economy was good, CD were paying 9%, and no one was trying to bomb our country. You should not judge. What is between a man and his wife is exactly that. I want the President to do their job. You or I could do the same things and it wouldn't matter. Their human with feelings. Besides did everyone forget about Marilyn being shared by two brothers in the White House? People who live in glass houses should not throw stones. She helped Giuliani pick up the pieces. Didn't hesitate, didn't ask questions. What people fail to realize she DIDNOT vote for the war. She voted for the attack on terrorism. We as a nation got suckered in to Bush's quest to vindicate his daddy. Well he got Saddam and we know what happened to him. If you've been to New York recently, which I have, that city is the most wonderful place to visit and talk to the people. They are genuine.         I don't have to prove she is close to being a communist...just read the facts for what she stands for. As far as you being a black woman... it is too bad you hate your own race. Obama is a good man with a nice family and does not come with all of the baggage that Hillary does. She stuck with her husband through all of his many girlfriends so she could become President. I have no respect for a woman who would let her husband use her in this way. She is a liar and if you believe her then I feel sorry for you. The health program she want to have is terrible. Yes, it will be cheaper but you will not get in to see a doctor even in an emergency for monhs. It is much like the Health program they have in England and Canada. Many people die just waiting tosee a doctor. Hillary believes the government should run everything...higher taxes for the rich and big business also. The rich and the big businesses are the ones who sign my paycheck not the bum on the street. She also believes the government should take care of everyone. I am sorry but that is not what the government was set up for. Everyone has the responsibility to take care of themselves. This all sounds very much like Communisum.. So according to you we should never have a black president. I can't see how he is winning just with the black vote. There has to be many others voting for him too. He is not winning all of these states just with the blacks voting for him. People see in him a hope and a change. Not the same old "good boy system" that has been in the White House far too long.
        He is a young person and that is what we need .... not some old *** who's husband cheats on her for years and she stands up there and gives us the act that they are still in love. Oh, by the way I am 61 so I know of what I speak. And yes it did become our business when he was having sex right in the White House with Monica.       Obama is the only one who hasn't mentioned race in this campaign. He is not running as a black man and he is half white as well, so I really don't see what his race has to do with anything.     Maybe its time for Senator Clinton to say I'm Sorry for voting for the Iraq war? How did any of you feel the day 911 hit? I tell you how America felt, they responded by enlisting in the military to go defend our country. Clinton loves this country more than Obama. Be careful, very careful. Remember he has ties of emotion to foreign countries and I believe his agenda could bring us into a war in Kenya. History brought us into Vietnam, I could see an argument to protect the rights of the ethnic cleansing going on in Kenya. We will need to wait another four years if Obama is elected for our economy to turn around.     The media is totally responsible for this despot Obama's success. They are playing with the lives of this country and our future by being so biased in the Democratic campaign.     I remember attending the rallies in Delano, California where Cesar Chavez and Bobby Kennedy joined forces to oppose the bigotry and exploitation of the Mexican immigrants and farm laborers. It is so insulting to hear this low-life perpetrator Obama claim himself to be an ???Agent of change??? and that he is ???Looking to the future, and not the past,??? while at the same time he steals the message of our former leaders to promote his rhetoric. The bottom line is that our former leaders actually DID SOMETHING to change society. They suffered and sacrificed their lives to help others. Obama barely got elected to the Senate and instead of honoring and serving his constituents, he showed up the 1st year, ONLY TO VOTE APATHETICALLY, ???PRESENT,??? and has spent the past 2 years of his term campaigning for the presidency. It???s obvious whom and what is priority to him, and that???s???.HIMSELF! What is wrong with America? Doesn???t anyone care about a person???s credentials? Doesn???t anyone recognize the critical times we live in? Most of all, I blame the media for caring more about their greedy selves instead of reporting a fair, unbiased election, and providing the facts on both candidates. It???s sad to think that our children???s future will rest in the fate of unethical, unscrupulous, degenerate reporters.

    I challenge NEWSWEEK to scrutinize Obama like every other candidate. It???s time FOR YOU to tell us the truth about this OBSCURE person who has no accomplishments worth mentioning. Why don???t you put the spotlight on him before it is too late for our nation? At least give us a fair and objective contest while time is left!

      Jewel1325, I tell why these newscasters do not scrutinize Obama as they do the Clinton. They like all the Clinton critics, hate the Clintons, and just can't stand the thought of them back in the White house. Come November Hilary will be in charge of putting this country back on the road to recovery. Like you, I think Newsweek, must show its worth and do the good honest reporting it's accustom to and challenge Mr. Obama.

When they fell over themselves worshipping the Clintons, you called it fair the way they sought to make the republicans look bad.     It is so sad that the Clinton campaign relies so heavily on the Hispanic "ignorance." Fellow Latinos, unite and strike out at the Clinton campaign who believes that people of Hispanic descent are not "evolved" enough to vote for a black man. I hope no one falls for this trick that Ms. Clinton and her campaign are trying to pull on us Latinos. It is ridiculous that Ms. Clinton's campaign is relying on our support but offers no confidence in Latinos to do the research and find that Mr. Obama is clearly the better candidate. The Clinton campaign believes that Latinos are so ignorant that they would "rather follow any white woman than a black man." No es cierto!!! I would rather follow the RIGHT MAN--Barack Obama.

      I am a Hispanic and have evolved to think of people as people and not as white woman or black man. It is not ignorance but rather intelligence that allows me to choose someone with more experience and substance - Hillary Clinton.         Please bear in mind that BOTH Ms. Clinton and Mr. Obama are DEMOCRATS, and by defiinition will share many similarities. All these comments are simply an opportunity for people to voice their opinions. So sad that you would choose to add to the "ignorant Latino" theory by your disrespectful tortilla comment. I am a highly educated, proud Latino man with roots deep in Latino history. I WORKED my way out of the poorest of situations. I had a vision of how I wanted my life to be and I PERSERVERED through DETERMINATION and sometimes PURE GRIT. I believe BARACK OBAMA can do the same for this country.           I humbly apologize for the tortilla comment. I myself depend on flour to make my staple, pancake. I will cry if Obama is elected because we as a nation will need to heal after the race and gender fiasco that has torn this country apart. Although he and Hillary have similarities, hers is more attainable and she can remedy roadblocks to every situation. Obama actually borrowed Hillary???s platform because he cannot comment on his own especially since he has no clue. Hillary is for the working poor. Obama will be busy building alliances in his first four years of office. I myself need resolution now not later. I am the working poor. I cannot afford healthcare. My sister is on the verge of losing her home because of the sub prime loans. So time is crucial for America. Obama cannot be building his cabinet without resolving the imminent problems we are facing. This position is not a role call of present, this is the real deal. This position requires action and a stand. This is where the real answers of leadership comes from.
